A little last minute shopping. The parking lot was pretty full and of course you gave those tht are struggling to drive and park so I grabbed a spot out away. There was a lot of folks in the store and they are having a large sale on plenty of items. I always like this place as they have all kinds of cool things. Finally found what I needed as there really is no rhyme or reason. On their shelf stocking. I was able to get into a line with only one person in front of me. The cashier, Kelly, was awesome. I absolutely love shopping at this location in Midwest City. The store is always very clean and bright and I just love their huge assortment of seasonal decorations and home decor. I always find more than I was looking for and I always leave happy and excited to head home and decorate with my new purchases. They have very fair and reasonable prices and often have sales going on and a 40 percent off coupon that you can pull up on your phone. I've shopped at the MWC location for home furnishings for the past few years. However, I picked up crafting as a hobby a few months ago. So, I've frequented the store more often. The staff is always so friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable about my inquiries. Monique is outstanding!! She goes above and beyond to assist me and other customers. I've overheard her with other customers and she's always in good spirits and helpful. Originally, I purchased a Silhouette machine from Walmart. I've yet to figure out how to use it. I came into the store almost in tears. Monique noticed me and asked if I needed help. She suggested that I purchase a Cricut Maker to start with because it's easier to use. I purchased a Cricut from Hobby Lobby, and I'm so happy with the purchase. I love to shop at Hobby Lobby for my crafting. They have great deals and always have what I need in stock. Plus, I know that the staff will assist me with questions. Especially Monique. :) I visited the Edmond store once. They're not as friendly or helpful. And, no one in the store knows about Cricut or its products. :( read more

Overall I have no complaints about Hobby Lobby this location seems to be laid out very differently from others and it is easy to still find things. I love the way things go on sal all the time. I typically will wait for a sale before I come and buy something I want. The low rating for this store location is being driven by the customer service of the customs framing area. I have had varying experience from both very good to just plain terrible. Julie and Courtney are the people you want to go to if you want someone that is very helpful and nice. Rhonda is helpful, but is very rough around the edges when it comes to customer service. James is the person to stay away from he is very rude and will just walk away and not help you if he doesn't understand what you want. He thinks it's his way or no way. The problem I had with this is I had the same thing accomplished one of the last times I was here. I would recommend using the custom frame service if you get someone willing and able to help you. When you do get someone willing to help the work is done very well and is quality. As for the rest of the store being one of the first stores open this store still looks well kept and has everything you would expect from a Hobby Lobby. read more

This location is lacking in every coupled idem you might want to craft. Did you want to make mardi gras masks with feathers...they only had three kinds of feathers, hot pink/natural/super long neon yellow & green. We were having a them birthday party for our daughters graduation party, purple and pink frilly everything. Craft party, nothing triple marked up and shoved in our kids faces like Wal-Mart. I wanted to make masks, teacup planters, and tie dye shirts. Perhaps I'm just not flamboyant enough to accept this is what I get. Their frames are decent and they have 50% off decor at certain time. I am spoiled by my Broadway Mecca in Edmond. We ended up settling here and I had to grin and bare it because I'm not the only mom and some folks like the blinking neon trend. I like a little more selection for model cars and planes too.. but like I mentioned it is a convenient local shop with a very little of everything. read more

During my lunch hour I decided to look for some fabric for a quilt I planned on starting over the weekend and happened across a self healing Olfa 24"x 36 (sku 319558) cutting mat. The price marked was $16.99. I couldn't believe the low price so I went to the fabric attendant and she verified by looking at it, the price was clearly $16.99. When I was done my shopping, I went to the checkouts and said it was a great price and I would like to use my 40% off coupon. The cashier said she needed to price check the mat with the same attendant I verified the mat with. After approximately 5 min of waiting on the price check, I asked for the manager. He (Trevor) was told by the cashier that someone must have changed the price label and looked at me. Seriously, a Christian company basically accusing me of swapping a price label. This was after I verified the price with that department as correct. The "co" manager told me he could not honor the marked price. So the manager said that he'd honor the 40% coupon at the price of $64.99. So that means due to Hobby Lobby not correctly pricing merchandise, he wanted me to pay over $22 over the marked price. I will not be returning. Corporate contacted me after filing a complaint and they too refused to help. read more

He hung up on me, then when I called back he answered, and I said is the the man I was speaking too. He said yes, I said well you hung up on me. He had the nerve to say NO I hung up on him with attitude. Well they just lost my business. What happened to be descent to people. read more

When I went to the Midwest City OK location and attempted to use different coupon codes on my transaction I was told it was "one coupon per person per day" So I said I have multiple codes and am just buying individual 2 dollar pencils that I want to save 40% on each and was told, "You are one person, but if you brought kids I could give you those other coupons since you are just one person I can only let you use one at this store. There is another store in Moore OK" This manager wanted me to drive to another city to save .80 cents each on my 5 pencils. I will not be returning to a Hobby Lobby. Also I used to be a regular monthly customer but this DISCRIMINATION for not having kids with me (for which he would break the rules and let them check out with a different coupon code) is unacceptable and offensive. read more
