They offer a monthly demo day where you can try a new product or technique and they frequently have well-known instructors come in for multi-day classes. They welcome every guest that walks through the doors the same way, with a big smile, and everyone gets a rundown of how things work. They're also great with kids. They make each one feel really special and like it's all about them. You never feel rushed, even when it's close to closing time. They have a huge selection of pieces to choose from, and several items painted around the store that you can use for inspiration. It's only $7 to paint on top of the item you pick, and the items are very reasonably priced. If you're not artistic (like myself), they have plenty of "specialty" paints and they're only $1/ea. We picked up our first project a few days ago and they look amazing. I can't wait to pick up the second lot and then go back and paint more. The ladies are friendly and always patient & helpful! This last visit during the Spring Fling Shop Hop, I bought several yards of sale fabric for a steal and love their Spinning Windmill block kit for the event. I also found that they have a basket of baggies with 5" and 6" blocks for you to take a pk or 2 to sew together creating baby quilts. Then just return the finished quilt top for it to get quilted & donated to Infant Crisis Services here in OKC! Made me love Oklahoma Quiltworks even more!
