They are very professionally run. The place is clean and safe. The women at the front desk are really nice and helpful.

IF I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS, I ABSOLUTELY WOULD!…read more Prime Storage has been a complete disappointment since taking over from CubeSmart -- which, by the way, had fantastic service. The transition has been nothing short of chaotic and unprofessional. To start, our accounts were completely shut down for weeks during the handover. We weren't even able to make payments until recently, when they finally sent out new rental agreements (which, sure, is expected with a company switch). But prior to that, I went in person trying to pay, and was told they couldn't process anything because the system was down. Fair enough -- transitions can be messy. I tried paying through the app (which we have NO ACCESS to now whatsoever) and on the phone in the morning which did not work as the system was spinning then tried again later on through the automated system to pay. It still didn't work. Eventually, that was when I went in person. They did not give me a hard time each time I interacted with anyone , like the lady today. I gave them all the information needed and they were trying to help. Around the end of last week. While I was there, I asked one of the Prime Storage employees if the prices would increase. She assured me they wouldn't, but said if they did, I should call and speak with the manager so they could try to keep the rate the same. Fast forward: I receive the new agreement and -- surprise -- my rate jumped $20 more for the same small unit. I called today, as instructed, to speak with the manager. That's when I encountered RUE, the so-called "manager on duty", who was completely unhelpful and downright rude. She would only take a payment -- that's it. Which is absurd. She didn't ask me a single question about my relationship to the account holder. She didn't ask if I was an authorized user. She didn't try to verify me in any way -- I was just immediately and completely dismissed. Imagine calling on your HUSBAND'S or WIFE's behalf on a unit that you all share/pay for and being treated like that. No effort, no professionalism, just, "I can't speak with you." Period. So I walked to my partner, who works from home, and had them get on the phone with Rue. Rue asked them for their name and unit number. My partner couldn't remember the unit number offhand, so I said it out loud in the background. Rue then claimed that my voice in the background "voided" the security verification. Which makes no sense -- unit numbers are not security questions. And again, she never asked any proper verification questions, just a name. At that point, I gave up and decided to go in person. But honestly, if this is the level of "customer service" and management Prime Storage is now offering, I want no part of it. I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. They've raised prices without warning, are disorganized, and clearly lack any concept of professional or respectful customer service. You're better off finding another storage facility that values its customers. Avoid this place at all costs. First impressions are KEY. Remember that.

Negative rating. Don't use…read more HomeSafe Transit was the company I thought I was hiring. They quoted me $2836.40 after going room by room and describing everything we owned. I told him it was a two bedroom house and we had a lot of items. Kenneth told us everything he thought we wanted to hear, and we paid a deposit of $1002.55 to reserve the moving date of February 26, 2022. We felt safe because the contract/estimate we signed said, "binding." Loading day was our first indication we had not been dealing with the actual moving company, but a broker. We would have never self-selected a moving company with such terrible reviews and horror stories. The 500 Move foreman said the broker put down "27 boxes" I'm sure to artificially lower our estimate and secure our business. We had more like 250 boxes, and the moving foreman said, "This is going to cost "thousands and thousands and thousands more." When he said that, and when he berated me, telling me to leave this or that behind, for a full 30 minutes, I knew this was a bait and switch scam. But we were between a rock and a hard place. Our lease expired and utilities were being shut off at that rental house the next day, and if we weren't in St. Louis in person three days later, our lease would be canceled. If we haggled or tried to negotiate, this foreman seemed like he was going to just take his crew and leave. I did not think I could find movers for that same day, or make accommodations to move all the items, my Rav4, and 4 cats to a different state within the time-frame. In short, I knew that was scammy and a bad deal, and a sketchy contract, but felt I didn't have any other options, so I regretfully signed. I had to pay $5,000.00 that day in order for them to load our stuff. And I paid $3797.00 to get them to deliver it. As I was going through the contract, I noticed it said the moving company had 45 days to deliver our belongings. I said, "That's not gonna work! It doesn't really take that long, does it?" The foreman assured me they are a national company who works with Alaska and Hawaii so that timeline is for the longer trips. He said ours would probably take 1-3 days (lie #1). The contract asked when we were available to accept our delivery and we wrote we'd like them to be there on March 16th.The AZ foreman did not say that this date would not be guaranteed, or explain their process of removing our items from this truck, storing them at a supposedly secure, temperature controlled warehouse, then combining our items with other moves (7 others to be exact). Kenneth the broker at Home Safe Transit had said we would just tell the movers the date we wanted our stuff delivered, and he promised we would have the cell phone number of "his" movers to allow frequent communication with the driver (all lies). 500 Move loaded our stuff 3/11, we wrote to deliver 3/16 on the contract, and our stuff was actually unloaded 3/27. When all was said and done we paid over $10,000, and 20% of our stuff was damaged or lost with no recourse. See my review on '500 Move' if that's the scam this broker sets you up with.

If I could give this company a zero...Multiplied by more zeros...I WOULD!!…read more This...by FAR...was THE worst business decision I have EVER made in my 50 years on this planet. I would have done better betting on darts made while standing on 1 foot...on the Golden Gate Bridge!!! Let me start by saying this company is SO raggedy it's unreal. I moved today 9/21/21. I booked this move back in April. I FaceTimed the estimator and walked him through my entire house. He gave me an estimate of about $5800. That being said...on 9/16/21, I reached out to update my inventory. We sold several large items to include a large formal dining table, a patio set, a double door refrigerator, washer & dryer, a dresser AND a triple bunk bed...with mattresses. To be fair..I did add a lot more boxes. My estimate was originally about $6000. Once payment is given...it's IMPOSSIBLE to reach customer service. The ONLY way to reach them is to send an email & at some point...a rep may call you back. Even though I took out those large items...APMS told me I needed to send an additional $1000, which I did. Once the driver arrived(US BEST MOVERS) he told me I owed ANOTHER $3800 . Once I finally got a hold of APMS I was told there was nothing they could do...AND the truck APMS sent was too small... our mattresses were strapped to the lift gate. I expect they'll be ruined by the time I get them back. THEN....when the movers were done, I gave them a total of $3911 MORE .....only to be told..."ohhhhhh your balance when you get to your Texas is yet ANOTHER $3900". These estimates were grossly inaccurate...this whole situation is unbelievably egregious. WHO the hell has $11,000 just sitting around???? Well...not me. So the original quote I was given has more than doubled. My "estimate" went from $5800 to $6800 to $11886!!!! WTH! These people are brokers...they do NOT complete your move themselves. They are NOT compassionate nor do they care if they siphon every penny you have. I was in tears! The APMS's rep.."Gabby" basically told me " well...that's why it's called an estimate" STAY AWAY!!! Far far far AWAY from this company!! This whole company is a scam. Each entity of the process squeezes & squeezes more and more money from your already tapped out moving finances. Be prepared to pay close to... if not more than the original..."pre discounted price". Today, nearly 6 days later...when I called to get an update on my delivery date...only to be told " I'm...i can't find any notes, so I don't know...I'll call you back"...no return call...no update. This company is a rip off!!! Do NOT hire them! Use caution...ask way too many questions and most of all.... Use Angie's List to find local movers who transport long or short distances! STAY AWAY from this company!! FAR FAR FAR AWAY!
