Negative rating. Don't use. HomeSafe Transit was the company I thought I was hiring. They quoted me $2836.40 after going room by room and describing everything we owned. I told him it was a two bedroom house and we had a lot of items. Kenneth told us everything he thought we wanted to hear, and we paid a deposit of $1002.55 to reserve the moving date of February 26, 2022. We felt safe because the contract/estimate we signed said, "binding." Loading day was our first indication we had not been dealing with the actual moving company, but a broker. We would have never self-selected a moving company with such terrible reviews and horror stories. The 500 Move foreman said the broker put down "27 boxes" I'm sure to artificially lower our estimate and secure our business. We had more like 250 boxes, and the moving foreman said, "This is going to cost "thousands and thousands and thousands more." When he said that, and when he berated me, telling me to leave this or that behind, for a full 30 minutes, I knew this was a bait and switch scam. But we were between a rock and a hard place. Our lease expired and utilities were being shut off at that rental house the next day, and if we weren't in St. Louis in person three days later, our lease would be canceled. If we haggled or tried to negotiate, this foreman seemed like he was going to just take his crew and leave. I did not think I could find movers for that same day, or make accommodations to move all the items, my Rav4, and 4 cats to a different state within the time-frame. In short, I knew that was scammy and a bad deal, and a sketchy contract, but felt I didn't have any other options, so I regretfully signed. I had to pay $5,000.00 that day in order for them to load our stuff. And I paid $3797.00 to get them to deliver it. As I was going through the contract, I noticed it said the moving company had 45 days to deliver our belongings. I said, "That's not gonna work! It doesn't really take that long, does it?" The foreman assured me they are a national company who works with Alaska and Hawaii so that timeline is for the longer trips. He said ours would probably take 1-3 days (lie #1). The contract asked when we were available to accept our delivery and we wrote we'd like them to be there on March 16th.The AZ foreman did not say that this date would not be guaranteed, or explain their process of removing our items from this truck, storing them at a supposedly secure, temperature controlled warehouse, then combining our items with other moves (7 others to be exact). Kenneth the broker at Home Safe Transit had said we would just tell the movers the date we wanted our stuff delivered, and he promised we would have the cell phone number of "his" movers to allow frequent communication with the driver (all lies). 500 Move loaded our stuff 3/11, we wrote to deliver 3/16 on the contract, and our stuff was actually unloaded 3/27. Do not use this company or anyone they recommend. They lost 33 boxes of ours and we were inexperienced they did not give us a bill of ladle we have to go to the company. when we got the paperwork they didn't have anything labeled just marked it box or tote. We lost 1/3 of our personal belongings. We are currently talking to attorney to see what our options are. read more

DO NOT USE!!!!!! Worst company ever, they can't even send a contract via email until you have sent 10 emails, talk with 3 people and then finally. Then when asking for a copy of the charge was another agonizing number of emails, calls, texts. So then I just want a refund and have been asking for almost a week just for proof of refund. I have been ignored, hung up, not responded to, lied to, promised things that don't happen. After all this I get told to "you can come wack my meat backwards" are you kidding me!!!! July 2021 - This has been the worst experience for us ever. We have moved 5 times within the US so far and this has been the most awful experience ever. We still have not received our stuff. It has been more than 11 months and we have paid $5000 already. We have no money left for anything. We were quoted $3200 initially by someone named Michael and we were happy that it was so low, that we signed the initial deposit with $1370. Then a day before the move, there was a quality call where the dispatch manager Eric Martin quoted $4900 (because there was more stuff apparently - which we already provided to Michael). We couldn't get our $1370 back so we had to proceed with $4900. Then the mover (Zano Moving and Storage) came and he showed an agreement of $5700. Honestly, I don't know what was happening here. It was the day of the move - we had to leave the state the next day - what could we do with our stuff. I showed the mover the agreement of $4900 and then we negotiated (which was another bad experience) and then he said $5400. What could we do now? He said pay half now and pay the rest at the time of delivery - So we gave a check for $1870. He loaded all our stuff. He put down the delivery date as 7/25. We still have not received our stuff. Then after he picked up our stuff, a week later the mover (Zano Moving) called us and told us that the check bounced and was canceled. He even sent us a picture of the canceled check(crossed out). Told us we needed to pay $1900 initial payment and the rest at delivery. We were so stupid and trusting. So we did a money transfer of $1900. Then a couple of days later, the mover (Zano Moving) told us that his office mistakenly deposited the check and if that's the case, then there will be no balance at delivery. So now we have paid $5000 to "Home safe Transit" and "Zano Moving and Storage". Our stuff is still not delivered. Update January 25, 2022(6 months Later) The mover Zano (Avraham Zano) called me today and said that my stuff is still in Las Vegas and provided this address - Extra space storage 7525 w Sahara Ave Las Vegas NV 89117 Unit number 1209 Under name:Yosef yamin He told me that if we want, we can take our stuff and that he would pay us the money required. I sent him the following message - "We have already paid you the money to deliver our stuff to us. You are responsible for the delivery. So please deliver our stuff to our address or else we will hold you responsible. If you can't, you hire a mover or something and complete the delivery. You are responsible for the delivery. And we will hold you liable for delivery." We have not received a response. It has been more than 6 months now. We still do not have our stuff delivered. Complaints so far that I have filed - FEDERAL MOTOR CARRIER SAFETY ADMINISTRATION - Case #: 2021-1952 State of Nevada - Office of the Attorney General - CONSUMER/FINANCIAL FRAUD - Consumer Complaint - #12557 State of California - Department of Consumer Affairs - Case# HHM 2021-370 As of today,June 29th,2022, it has been 349 days. I have no idea where our belongings are. No one seems to help us. Everyone has started some form of investigation, but we don't know anything. Their prices are initially cheap..then the day of the go up exponentially. You'll also be left without your stuff for months Not the week they tell you. Don't do this to yourself. read more

Update: I finally received most of my stuff. And when I say most I mean 84 of 116 boxes showed up and I'm missing 4 plastic totes. Numerous items damaged as well. The guys who delivered kept trying to hustle me for more money as a "tip". I contacted them so I will update as this progresses. read more

MINUS STARS! Homesafe Transit are a bunch of crooks. They are definitely a bait and switch company. They are so bad I had to file a complaint with the Florida Attorney Generals office, the Consumers Affairs Division, and the Department of Agriculture. My hopes are they will shut them down permanetly. I am a senior and they fully took advantage of me. They were supposed to move me from Arizona to Florida and we agreed upon a price of $6800. After they collected their deposit and the movers showed up on moving day the price was now $12,196, take or leave it... Definitely an eye opener. Too much to know where to start but shame on me for trusting the salesperson on the phone. Said they accepted credit cards, assisted in disassembly of items. I booked a month out, had to call numerous times to set a pick ip date; arrived late; only 2 people showed up; 1 was sick and refused to load basically; then did the price gauging saying load was heavier so additional fees(wth?) they had my house loaded with my help; after calls to the very non responsive in a Saturday no less; they "agreed " to accept credit card; called me 2 weeks later at 10pm on a Friday night to tell me they would be delivering Sunday morning (on Mother's Day); had to renegotiate a different day; arrived 6 hours later with only half the load; wanted all CASH; before unloading (no way); paid for half the load; they arrived 4 hours late the following day; refused to unload until payment made; no ramp on truck; no walk through; rude; and every piece of furniture had some damage; told me it was my packing (not true) and every single box had something broken no matter how well packed; called this contracted mover, Long Distance Van Lines aka Prestige Movers; no return calls or texts; same with HomeSafe transport. Having read all the other reviews, I feel fortunate to have received all my stuff with only a bit of bait and switch--with the price increasing from $2,261 to $2,937. The guy who ran the crew who picked up the items did not prepare an itemized list although had a crew that moved the items into the truck efficiently. Arranging for delivery was a bit challenging, though not overwhelming. On the day of delivery, the truck was to arrive between 8 and 10 AM. That didn't happen and when I called, it was, "Oh didn't you know we had to reschedule." And when I said, "NO!", the response was, "The office was supposed to call you." After some back and forth I secured an agreement for an evening delivery on the same day, which ultimately occurred. A nice guy brought the stuff and everything arrived intact, although some of the boxes (that I had packed) looked like gorillas had thrown them around. read more

I lost more than 10 thousand dollars because of homesafe transit and other 70 people that you can find on Facebook account. They're thieves 100 percent....the owner and the carrier's are in it to get your money and belongings. They have no insurance what so ever, do not used them just find someone else or do it yourself or they will live you crying. I have all documents to back this up. read more

Be suspicious!! They'll want your $$$$ in a form of payment that you can't recover or ever dispute (as you can with a credit card). Homesafe Transit's deceptive practices are happening to the majority of us. I still haven't received my things, or received a response about what's going on, or why I paid an extra $400 to bind a quote that was increased by 45% when the driver and 2 laborers showed up. Homesafe Transit deserves zero stars. It's such a shame that they continue to operate with the highest level of dishonesty. This company should definitely be made to face repercussions for the way that they operate. I entered into a contract with this company to relocate my belongings. I decided within the three-day period that I no longer wanted to use their services. I was then threatened by one of the representatives that if I don't pay, I would be sued for essentially refusing service. He quoted me one price prior to sending over the contract and a different price after encouraging me to sign the contract. I received the final contract with a completely different price, which was at least several thousand dollars more. When I questioned him about it, he hung up on me and refused to answer my calls. I then spoke with a manager who offered a discounted rate after I played the recording between myself and the previous representative. However, the manager still would not cancel the transaction. I then found out from the actual moving company, that Homesafe Transit operates as a broker. So, essentially, they are getting paid for doing nothing. I ended up being nickel and dimed by Homesafe and then again by the moving company since Homesafe failed to provide accurate quotes for the number of items that I with detail, informed them of. If I had known at the time of my discussions with them that Homesafe was just a broker, I would have immediately declined. There's no need to pay a broker when one can contact the moving companies directly. It's super sneaky and dishonest. Their business practices are highly unscrupulous and a review of how they do business should be completed by the appropriate agencies. Now we are trying to figure out how to get my mother's belongings after a month from US PRO movers who work with them and charged us an additional 3x the rate! My brother and I ended up literally moving our mother while the one mover (we were told 3 professionals would come) smoked and talked on the phone. I was quoted over 400 cb sq ft for my move and only had 200 and had to pay full price of over $2900. When I notified Micheal Romero (broker) he has yet to follow up. PLEASE READ and consider my review when looking for a moving company a one star is too high for Homesafe Transit, West Palm Beach FL. I paid them to locate a moving company near me... Nothing went according to plan. I called Homesafe for help. The CSR helped minimal. I requested to speak to a manager. As I was waiting to talk to management, they had their advertisement playing during hold time. **STRESS FREE​** Not correct.  I  made countless call starting 03-28 to Homesafe, for assistance with no response until 4-20. **QUALITY** Not correct. No quality here, the customer service reps were rude, when I would asked to speak to management, they would be the manager. It was weeks of call before management responded finally with an email. When I would tell them I desperately needed their help, their words were... That was my problem contact the moving company.** SEAMLESS** Not correct. There was nothing seamless about this I had to do so much of the phone calls in the work, they made a few phone calls, but they did not try to find out what was wrong and why the delay.  ** WHAT WE QUOTE IS WHAT YOU PAY** Not correct.   I had LESS items than what was on my contract, fitting all items under the square footage allowed.  I had to pay $352 more. And when I called Homesafe later about it, they said why did you pay them? I told them I paid them:  because their lines were busy when I try to reach them at that time. I had to have the items picked up that day as scheduled. I had to run to the bank for cash, because the moving company app did not work like I was told I could pay. I had to get back to work with limited time to wait for help. The moving company had me in a corner and I had no option but to pay the extra money at that time. When I called Homesafe about the extra charges, they said nothing they could do,  I paid it. ** NO SURPRISE** Not correct. Finally management contacted me 04-20 with an email, after numerous emails and phone calls, they offered $300 to compensate for my problems. Keep in mind I had paid $352 extra above my contract. I figured that $300 is better than nothing. I then received an email from Homesafe stating if I wanted $300 I had to sign an agreement, that I would not write any bad reviews. Yes I wanted the $300, but it was more important, to let others know my experience. So I did not agree to this. I wonder how many people had that options with them? When I read the their reviews initially, I asked them about their bad reviews, they had explanations for everything.   Please know I'm a real person, with real problems with them. I did what I was supposed to do, I had expected their help when things did not go according to the plan. I was not asking for them to move the world, just a few personal items 1200 miles.  This was nothing but headache, total stress and pure frustration working with this company. Hired them to move across country because they provided the cheapest quote with the inventory that I needed to be moved. By the time the truck gets to my place I was moving from, they were 3 days late so my wife and I got to spend $350 on hotel rooms as our entire house was packed up. By the time the movers did arrive, they immediately told me how they got the quote wrong, and I would have to pay them $5000 on the spot (the entire move was quoted as $3,600). After they finish packing my stuff, I see them drive out of my community's front gate and pull over. They run out of their truck, open the back up and check to see what had fallen over in the truck because of their poor packing and unfortunately for me, it looked like damn near everything. I try to focus on the drive at hand and try not to stress about their failures at this point but by the time they finally make it to my new address, 4 days after me while being MIA the entire time, they pull open the back of their truck and drop 5 of my boxes onto the ground. If the boxes fell out as soon as they opened up the back of the truck, I can only imagine at this point the damage my stuff received during the trip. When my stuff finally arrives, they tell me they will not deliver it until we paid an additional $4,000 for delivery before it was even delivered. When they do finally bring everything in, I learn the extent of the damage. Boxes completely flattened, glass dishes inside broken and chipped. My headboard for my bed was cracked and both bed frames were missing hardware. My $1,200 tv stand had a leg broken off and when I called the movers out on that, they simply said "that's how it was when we picked it up." We were also forced to buy a new highchair for our newborn as we never received the one that belonged to us. We also had a ton of movies missing almost as if someone had opened the box and taken out the ones they wanted. The most unbelievable part of it all was we were given family photos that belonged to someone else's move and when we asked for their address, after providing the sticker number attached, we were told they could not share that information so we sent them back to Sienna Van Lines to let them work with HomeSafe Transit to figure it out but who knows how it worked out. Believe me, this company is crap and they don't care about taking care of you. They know they'll lure you in with their deceptive quoting and then if you take the bait, they'll threaten to hold onto your stuff in storage and force you to pay that before they deliver. moves suck but this company made it so much worse by being the most disrespectful, deceitful con-artists I have ever done business with. read more

poor customer service. cant ever get anyone on the phone. i talked to 3- 5 different people get put on hold 20 mins then say on the guy name mack will call you on sunday. i was in a rush to get moved to ga from tx and only had so many days off work to get everything done. its been over 14 days and im still waiting my stuff was picked up 3/25 movers were nice but the homesafe transit llc company csrs seem nice but over talk you , never call you back give you a bogus replay. then the moving company that get booked to move your stuff the csr there you call her she hangs up and is real nasty. i need my items delivered and the exact date .. i should have done better with booking a legitimate moving company. read more
