I saw another Yelper's freehand french manicure / glitter ombre design and requested to have that done on my nails. Rebecca was a pro and took the time to make my nails and the design look perfect. The Shellac polish and design was painted just above my cuticle to maximize longevity of my nails. This is something that is hard to find at most of the nail salons that I have been to. The ladies here are all very skilled and take the time to understand your preferences. My nails ended up turning out great and I received a ton of compliments on them from my friends. The price was extremely reasonable. For such a intricate design (this took over an hour to slowly freehand) it was only $40 before tax and tip. They brought in 2 of us first and my husband was left behind. 1 employee started with my stepdaughter's pedicure and set me up to soak my feet for a pedicure while the other employee finished up with their client. I asked the one that was working on my stepdaughter how they were going to get us all done in 2 hours? We had come in for my stepdaughter's birthday to get all our manicure/pedicure services done at the same time. The 1 employee professed that a 3rd employee was scheduled to work but called that very morning to say she was unable to come in. I replied that they should have contacted me to advise me that they were going to be short-staffed and not able to fulfill our appointment as requested. I told them that we had other events planned after our appointment and that we could not wait around for 4 hours while we all received our services. This is very poor customer service and my husband and I did not end up receiving services that day nor will I ever go back. Also, we ended up getting charged over double the prices that are posted on this web listing, and the services I had requested were not even available!!! This business is very poorly managed and we were very disappointed that we were not able to celebrate my stepdaughter's birthday the way we had planned. We did not feel pampered at all.

The owner is pushing the shellac (+$15) on top of normal pedi($20) because the pedi will be ruined by winter boots....hmm never knew. She was very convincing that this was really necessary but afterwards let me think about it and when chosen not to there wasn't any awkwardness. They cover the tubs each time with a plastic bag so that is good. The place is a bit dated and worn but the price points and loyalty card keeps this place busy. They have free wifi and play current chick movies on the flat screen, cuz watching cp24 on loop gets old fast! The parking lot is small and it's always packed during meal times due to Restoran Maylasia next door, great real Thai food btw. Oh and I watched the lady place all tools into the sanitizer machines after. Glad to give them a second try. Back then, I had polished my natural nails to a shine. The person removing my nail polish thought that I had gel nail polish on. After some consulting in Mandarin, the nail person asked about my nails. The other nail consultant said that I had pretty hands. I went with a pink polish back then and loved the design detail on both my ring fingers. I watched Legally Blonde 2, which had Chinese subtitles. It helped pass the time. This time around, I came back with another Groupon. The place is far more organized. The sign at the front clearly states that Groupon prices do not include tax. The first nail person removed my gel polished, and filed and shaped my nails. Another woman then came in to apply purple polish and flower designs on my ring fingers.
