Everyone with the catering service was wearing REAL plumeria leis, and the tables were decorated with beautiful tropical flower bouquets. I half expected someone to hand me a coconut and tell me my office had been relocated to paradise! I had the BBQ teriyaki chicken, kalua pulled pork, macaroni salad, mango-pineapple refresher, and pineapple upside down cupcakes--and let me just say, my taste buds put on a grass skirt and started celebrating. The chicken was juicy, flavorful, and delicious. I honestly didn't think the kalua pulled pork would be my favorite, but surprise! It fully stole the show and ran off into the sunset with my heart. The macaroni salad was excellent, and the mango-pineapple refresher was so tropical that I was one sip away from doing the hula in the hallway! And pineapple upside down cupcakes? Come on now. That is not dessert--that is sunshine and sugar! Everything was so good that I actually went back to the floor where they were serving just to tell them how much I loved the food and service. I also took pictures because the world needs to know: if you need catering, hire these people immediately before I book them for my backyard luau! After checking out their website, I saw they also offer Polynesian music, hula dancers, and classic luau entertainment. So now, naturally, I am considering throwing a luau for absolutely no reason other than joy, pulled pork, and of wearing flowers in my hair. Mahalo for a fabulous catered lunch--this was festive, fun, delicious, and totally worthy of a happy little hula! Headed home to find my coconut bra and grass skirt!!

Their initial reply was very prompt and included essential information such as the rental prices per item. Ongoing communication for clarification about details & for guidance about our set up was also prompt & very professional. Their pricing was much more affordable than most others. Contract was sent upon request which was terrific as I was eager to submit my deposit to secure our rentals during this busy season. Delivery was earlier than expected & all items were in terrific condition. We could tell immediately that this was a family run business as the delivery crew were extremely helpful, offering to set everything up! Pick up was also very timely. So refreshing to work with a family run business that truly cares about their customers needs and concerns! If I could give zero stars I would. Ben was hired for my daughters Quince. I didn't want to have to…read moreworry about anything on this special day. In Aug of 2017 I hired LUXE for my event the in July 2018. Below are a few of the issues * Ben said he had other events at this venue, so he would take care of the bartending, no issues. 3 days before the event he told me he couldn't get the license for the event to bartend. He thought he could get by without having the proper ABC license at a city community center? Really? We had to scramble and purchase the alcohol ourselves and then hire a separate bartender. The plan was to have a closed bar. So this caused a lot of issues and additions cost. *Ben was paid an extra fee for "special linens" for the cake,m gift and coffee tables. These were supposed to be above and beyond standard to make it look really nice. What I got instead was cheap white polyester linens. *Ben was also paid extra for a backdrop for the cake and main court table. He didn't supply the backdrop for the cake table at all, and the one he used for the main table looked awful. Bars and other items laying in the back showed up in all of our pictures, ruining them! * After going thru the venue details, Ben said he only needed an hour to prep everything before the start of the event. He then stated if he could get an extra 15 minutes it would help him out. So I paid for an extra 30 minutes to the hall. My event started at 5pm. Now after 6pm he still wasn't done setting up. It took him 2.5 hours to finish setting up. Family and friends starting helping putting linens, center pieces, and plates on the tables to help out. This was quite embarrassing. * After the event was over we had a few hours to get the facility cleaned up. If it was not done in time, I would lose my deposit. Of course this was no skin off of his back. I had to stay and have family and friends assist with the clean up otherwise this company never would have been done in time and I would be out even more money. * Some of my guest also commented that while he was setting up he was helping himself to alcohol! Very unprofessional. * When I spoke to Ben about these issues and let him know I felt I was entitled to some sort of a refund for all of these issues, as others have mentioned her became very defensive and refused and said sue me. He told me I was very ungrateful and was down right rude. He is definitely very unorganized and very unprofessional. Do not risk your precious event and day with this company, you will definitely regret it.

They took care of everything including the set up of the other vendors such as the dj, photobooth, photographer and florist. Gourmet gourmet catering is a full service catering company that not only provided food, but also includes the rentals of tables, chairs, linens and bar service! Gourmet gourmet did not dissapoint. Their food was amazing! I still have people raving about how tender the brisket was and how savory the salmon was. The artisan bread was beautifully displayed and the cheese grazing table was the talk of the wedding. There was unexpected rain and the catering and rental crew had to accommodate for last minute changes of adding a tent and heaters which was done flawlessly.
