Also, we had feral cats nesting in the roof, which made it necessary for cleanup and repair. We reviewed Yelp, Google and the Better Business Bureau for an A+ rated roofing company, and after posting requests for bid, we received responses from three qualified companies. Of all three companies that bid on the project, only one, Home Hardening Solutions Inc., was willing to take care of the damage caused by the cats. Home Hardening Solutions Inc. is also an Owens Corning "preferred contractor", which means the materials used are top of the line including cool roof tiles which come in a large variety of colors and a titanium underlay. We went with the Sierra Gray color and it's beautiful! Along with the roof they repaired the facia boards and made repairs where needed, installed additional downspouts and beautiful new roof vents. The entire company is staffed with professional, friendly, knowledgeable, highly trained staff. They were a pleasure to work with from start to finish. When the county inspector came out for review, he said it was the best roof replacement he had seen in a long time. The ridge caps are perfectly straight, from the top to the bottom edge.
