I had few questions to make sure his bid included everything the other did and sure enough he was on point. Said he could work it in next Wednesday and that worked for me. Texted me an hour later and said if I was available he could out there other next day at 7-8. I said sure and by 1 pm the next day I had a new roof. All his workers were professional and very efficient. I peeked out the window every once in a while and they were always just hammering away. Read the contract people. I purchased a mobile home and it needed a roof. I hired them to do a new roof . They came out, I sent the deposit and things looked great. But do to factors outside of their control we could not secure a permit for the property. They said it could be anywhere from 2-6 months. It was active raining and the home had active leaking on the inside. I was able to make some repairs I was happy with and felt I no longer needed a roof for the time being. So when I called and asked for my deposit back they informed me that I had passed to 3 days as specified on the contract. And they didn't even offer a possible partial refund. Especially since the process had been delayed then pushed back again. When they told be about the difficulty securing a permit it was well passed the 3 day grace. So polite, helpful, respectful of all my plants and even my Koi pond and swimming pool. These folks went above and beyond to please us. I cannot recommend Sun's Roofing enough... We met with Joe and his fantastic team in September 2023, and they came out to fix our roof and put in new panels the following month in October. They were the only company who was actually honest and, instead of telling us that we needed an entirely new roof, only recommended replacing the damaged tiles with metal tiles and necessary repairs for a very reasonable price (which just happened to be exactly what the homeowner's insurance covered entirely!). I am beyond disappointed in this company. You have to chase them down. No one is on time. They break your stuff and you have to make them fix it. Everyone plays dumb. They do not care one bit. It's all about money. I had to chase them down to fix stuff. I had to chase them down for the permit. I had to go into my building inspector and get the roof permit myself. This company is a joke and a waste do NOT use them. The county even told me I shouldn't have used them because they are horrible. read more

Joe and the crew did an excellent, first class, top notch installation for us. Joe is very careful about how things are done on a job site. He checks everything during the process. His crew of 4 guys were here for 4 days. Our roof was about 5000 square feet of shingles. The crew worked very hard and very fast to get it done so quickly and correctly. If I had a question, the crew was responsive if Joe was not here. They finished yesterday and left the job site cleaner than when they arrived. I will post some pictures if I can. I recently had Sun's Roofing reroof my home , I had some areas that had dryrot & was very clear that I wanted all areas of dryrot removed & not have new roof put on over the top of these areas, I had no problem paying for any extra fees that may inccur for this to be done, shortly after Joe & his crew completed my roof I had noticed a trim piece that they replaced had large split down the middle, also a area that had missing piece of flashing & few areas of dryrot that were ignored . I contacted the owner Joe & explained these issues & was informed by him that if he had to come out to my home he was goin to charge me for his time & materials to fix these areas! I have had to put my house on hold from being painted & are looking at having to pay someone else to remove areas of roof & flashing to replace the work that was never completed.
