I just had a baby when we went so that comment wasn't well liked. Besides being rude, she wasn't good at her job. I asked her to not cut the sides of my nails or cuticles. She took that as to not shorten my nails and not to clean them or file them. And the paint job was shoddy. For some awful reason, a lot of the cheap nail places like to cute deep into the sides of the nails. This only speeds up the possibility of an ingrown nail and without proper sanitary precautions will cause an infection. That's teh same for the cuticle. Unless it's white then yes, cut it. But if it's nicely adhering to your nail bed, just push it back. Ask a podiatrist! I will never go back to this place nor will I recommend it! Go somewhere, anywhere else!

I came in for an acrylic fill, and they took the time to explain a different technique they use. It's still acrylic, just not the traditional powder method, and I appreciated how thoughtful they were about my cuticles and the length, since they had grown out quite a bit. They also made sure the shape worked well with the condition my nails were in. The entire experience was very pleasant, right down to the hot hand towels.
