So, I've been utilizing the services of Heritage Cleaners since moving back to Nashville a little…read moreover a month ago. I've probably used them 4 times now, so I figure it is time for a review. My shirts are always pressed nicely, and I ask for light starch (and for once) it is actually light starch. They have not ruined any of my clothes, lost any of my clothes, and they are always personable. Additionally, they have not ruined of #1 wife's stuff either. She remembers my face and my name when I come into the store, and the owner (I assume) lady (the "she" without an antecedent above) is always present. As a bonus and kinda funny aside, I have two dogs - if you read my stuff you probably know this... anyhow, I wear a black jacket for winter. So, you guessed it; it has dog hair on it... all of the time. Every time I go in the store, she is always like, "You want me to roll you?" It just cracks me up that she wants to lint roll me while I'm in the store. I don't think she realizes that some people might find a offense at that (but it's cultural, she is just trying to be extra helpful). Love the lady to death... absolutely kills me when she breaks out the lint roller on me. (I don't let her roll me; just happens every time.) She even gave me one "for Christmas", she said. I think our interactions would have made a great Seinfeld episode...

I tried this place out w a huge order of drapes and comforters and bedding and pillows. Hundreds of dollars I paid them to ruin brand new expensive drapes ‍

I have been going here for years, but recently switched to stop in at Sal's to grab a couple of…read moreslices of pizza after dropping off my dry cleaning. I picked up 19 shirts from Nippers Corner Dry Cleaners today and just realized they charge $7 per shirt. I let them know the dry cleaner across the street has $4 shirts & pizza next door. We do love our Las Palmas still. My recco is drop your cleaning at Cotton then stop in LP or Sal's for dinner & drinks... and still come out cheaper than a cleaning here. Don't let them take you to the cleaners haha.

1/27 UPDATE: I stopped in and asked for the refund. At first, he only agreed to reimburse for the…read morecost of cleaning. He kept insisting that I didn't understand that they (where he sent the rug) are responsible for it being ruined. I didn't agree, and told him I brought the rug to him, so he is responsible. We brought him the ruined rug, so he can be reimbursed, and left with a check for the cleaning and cost of the replacement. He did the right thing after all. This will not be my cleaner going forward, but I heard good things, so don't take my experience as the trend. 1/26 I was told he was speaking with the company he sends rugs to, and he would let me know. That was nearly a month ago. We stopped in for reimbursement of cost of the cleaning and replacement of the unusable rug. We were told to come back tomorrow morning to speak with the owner. I called and was sent to voicemail.
