They got all of the work done within a couple of days, which considering the condition it was in was impressive. I only had basic no-fault auto insurance so I had to pay for all of the work myself. They were really good about working with my budget to identify the most important things to get done first and showed me a few things that I could do to save money. More importantly, the quality of their workmanship was simply the best.

Painted the bumper but overlooked cars saftey issues associated with a accident. totally. UNACCEPTABLE for a collision shop. After spending $1200 for a junk yard bumper made to look shiney, they returned my car to me with serious drivability and saftey issues. Not even a word about the car being undrivable. Not good for a single mother and her children. Wonder if they would let their own mother's drive a car in this state...probably not... unless they wanted them dead. I brought the vehicle back to them but they returned it saying the frame issues had been fixed but the problems still remained. Obviously this is a shop that is focused on GETTING YOUR MONEY ONLY, without a second thought or regard to your family's safety. In my opinion shops like this should be shut down as it is a danger to everyone on the road. ***Buyer Beware*** if you get caught up with these scammer's, drive your car before paying them a cent or you'll be sorry. Once they have your money they will do nothing. If you place value on your family's well being...STAY CLEAR OF ITALIA COLLION!!

I took my car to J & J Collision the next day (a Saturday), just expecting them to get me a new door, but they far exceeded my expectations. At the time of the accident, my car was essentially three different colors. I had sun damage on the entire front half. Last year, I took it to Lafontaine (where I purchased the car) to repaint the hood. Lafontaine did a terrible job, painting my hood at least 3 shades lighter than it was supposed to be and tried to charge me extra to fix some nonexistent dents in the hood. I took "before" pictures, so I know that there were no dents. I was really impressed with the communication I had with Waled and the rest of the staff. They kept me informed about what was going on with my car, and were very clear about how exactly much I would pay out of pocket to have the sun damaged areas painted. It was absolutely beautiful when I picked it up. It looked brand new and was all one color. The painter was able to blend my hood, sun damaged sides, door and back of the car together seamlessly. I paid extra for it, and it was so worth it. My car actually looks much better than it did before the accident. I highly recommend J & J Collsion.

What gave me pause was that financing was being discussed early on, even before the diagnostics were complete. After the inspection, I was presented with a quote just under $3,000 that included multiple repairs -- control arms, struts, alignment, and additional fees. I decided to get a second opinion. I took the car to another shop the next morning, and they told me the issue was simply a worn ball joint. They fixed it within a few hours that same day for $465. The car is now driving perfectly. That's a significant difference in both scope and cost. I'm not going to speculate on intent, but I will say this: based on my experience, I would strongly recommend getting a second opinion before approving any major repairs here.
