Luckily, it was early in the morning and I was the only person there at the time. I was greeted immediately by a young man who ran through the standard procedure on getting me in and getting my old change started. What I saw next pleasantly surprised me. They began to give me all of my advisements, all of my recommendations, and showed me everything about the engine that I should have known or needed to know. What took it over the top is that they start to cross-check, I mean every aspect of their process, they cross checked, audibly. This really caught my attention because I've never experienced professionalism on this level for getting a really fast oil change. This is now will I will get my oil change every time unless there is someone there not following the procedure. The management must be on point, because this exceeds expectations of any car owner. When I pick the car up after they said the repairs were completed, my car did not feel right and it ran rough when driving it. Soon after, the traction light was coming on and off. I took my car to another auto service shop, they said I needed a wheel alignment. I let the other shop do the wheel alignment. The car runs perfectly now. I went back to this Meineke to get a refund for the wheel alignment that they supposed to have done but it was not. They refused to give me a refund. They said I should have returned the car back to them. I had presented them evidence of paying for another wheel alignment. They refused to be accountable for their mistakes. And to be honest, I was not comfortable in returning my car back to them because I was afraid they would say I needed something else done.

I thought I had a transmission problem that was preventing the car from passing the vehicle emissions test. That was what the codes indicated. Turns out, my gear shift was sticking and not moving properly. How many mechanics can you trust to have been honest enough to admit to that?
