From Day 1, the enthusiasm these folks had for our project was endearing. They were laser focused on our job and getting us what we wanted. When I asked to change the finish on our hardwood floors at the last minute to a less toxic, more environmentally friendly option, my request was met with empathy not the moans and groans I had expected!! The work was begun within a reasonable time frame. Estimate of the time needed to complete was within +- 2 days. Kastle was best of 4 bids. Terms were standard. Owner was often "on-site"to supervise. Installer was conscientious and an artist. We gave him poor material to work with, and yet he was able to give us back a silk purse. He communicated with us every day. For the exact same type of flooring, we noticed their prices were four times more expensive than the other two places we checked. That said, we didn't want to insult them and make them feel bad so I left a fake name, a fake phone number, and a fake address. Imagine my surprise when I got a call from this company to my real phone number--A number I never provided to them nor gave them permission to call. What's even more outrageous, is they contacted our real estate agent--an egregious overreach of boundaries. We never mentioned who we were working with for our real estate transaction. Who do these people think they are? It is the most outrageous invasion of privacy my husband and I have ever experienced and we're not young people. I would never ever recommend this company to anyone. I explained what happened to my real estate agent and apologized on behalf of this company for being so obnoxious. I've never known a flooring company to go to such lengths to stalk potential customers before. It was very very disturbing. I'm not sure what software they have rigged up in that store, but if you go here, turn your phone to airplane mode so they can't access it because if they do they will track down everybody you know to try to get a hold of you. I will post this review for everybody to see because it's 100% true.
