The contractor that installed it was professional and did quality work. Now for PCHI, I had an appointment set for Oct 9th and Freddie showed up 30 mins late without a phone call. On Oct 25th we dropped off a check for the deposit with them saying everything should be in stock in about 3-4 weeks. Nov 25th I called them being told that the last couple pieces should be in that week. I then called back on Dec 9th being told that they just got word that the pieces will be in that week and we should be schedule the next week but couldn't give me a date. I told them that I didn't want someone showing up without a phone call before hand. Dec 17th the contractor was knocking on my door without a phone call. When I called them I was told that they called and talked to me on the Friday before. I told them to check their phone history because it wasn't me that they talked to. Contractor finished in two days and left final bill at the door. I sent the remaining balance in the next day. The most disappointing parts are no phone call when running late to appointment, never getting a phone call with updates on order, and finally one asking how the install went. Joe Temple

Short version: My $355 glass replacement turned into an $1800 glass replacement…read more Long version: I am giving a two star review and not a one star review because the two women who work at the front desk were very polite and responsive. The delivery team of two men was also kind and professional however the glass maker was probably one of the rudest individuals I have ever encountered. I called All Star Glass to see what their typical wait time for replacing a piece of glass was and they notified me 24-48 hours. After reading the Google reviews it seemed that this was the norm for them. This was important to me because I dropped the glass off on a Monday and needed it by the latest Thursday because I had a flight out of Nashville at the end of the week. I also didn't want to not have a front window for my living room for the entire week especially when I was not there. No worries however because I was told it would be done Tuesday. After receiving no update on my glass, I called them back and was told it would be done the next day (Wednesday). After again receiving no update on Wednesday, I called again and was told it would be done Thursday. By the time Thursday rolled around I called back and was told it would be done Friday even though I made it clear early in the week that I had a flight to catch. When I called Thursday, the woman at the front desk handed the phone over to the glass maker who immediately started yelling and getting very angry, telling me that NO ONE told me the glass would be done in 24-48 hours (just read the other comments. This seems to be the norm) and that HE told me it would be done Friday (I would have never agreed to this in the first place considering I had a flight and wouldn't be able to get the glass on Friday). The glass maker continuously called me a liar, yelling at me, threatening to hang up and not make the glass, saying that no one told me 24-48 hours despite the fact that I was told MULTIPLE times that this is how long the order would take. I tried being cordial as I shared my frustrations of needing to now change my flight but the glass maker didn't care, continuing to throw personal jabs and calling me a liar, referring me to the worst customer he has ever dealt with. Every time I tried calming him down (because I really did need the glass) he continued throwing personal shots at me. Very unprofessional. $355 for glass and $1500 later for having to change flights at the last second, the glass is installed. I would strongly recommend that the owner of All Star Glass gets a new glass maker as the current one is not well.

The guy who installed them, Brian, did a half a$$ job and then my husband and my dad had to go back and redo the guys mess up. The siding on the windows were rotting away and yet again Brian did not want to properly fix the issue. In total, the windows for 5 cost $5,000 and my husband had to fix up any of the problems that had not been addressed. If you have a choice, do not choose this company.

I explained that after things did not go well with our previously scheduled appointment, I had abandoned the idea of moving forward with the remodel. The representative I spoke with asked if I would reconsider allowing American Home Design another opportunity to earn my business by sending a salesperson to meet with me. I agreed, and an appointment was scheduled. Mark arrived on time and was very courteous. He asked a few preliminary questions and then took measurements for the project. Once we sat down to discuss the available options, however, the experience took an unexpected turn. Mark began explaining why he believed American Home Design was the best company for my project. I told him that I had not solicited quotes from any other companies and that I was already satisfied that American Home Design appeared capable of providing quality service. Despite this, he continued with his presentation about how established the company was and why he felt they were best suited for the job. At that point, I simply asked him to show me the available material options and provide me with the cost of the project. Instead of doing so, Mark abruptly stated that he did not feel American Home Design could provide the service for my project because I had not allowed him to finish his introductory presentation and that he only saw to customers per day and this is how he made his living. He then gathered his materials and left. I found the entire experience extremely disappointing. I agreed to give American Home Design another opportunity specifically because I was willing to reconsider doing business with the company. I was not asking for anything unreasonable--I simply wanted to see the available options and receive a price for the project. Instead, after taking the time to meet with your representative and allow him to measure the project, I was essentially told that my business was not wanted because I chose not to sit through a sales presentation. I have to question why I was contacted and encouraged to give American Home Design another opportunity if the salesperson was unwilling to discuss the actual project unless I first allowed him to complete his sales presentation. This was a significant waste of my time and left me with a very different impression of American Home Design than I had before the appointment. If the goal was to earn back my business, this interaction accomplished the opposite.
