this is an update to my previous post... I have fired Mr. Tucker from further work on my job site…read more I told his workers, three, that we were ending this job, but it wasn't by no fault of the workers. Mr. Tucker is very conniving and I would be very leery of hiring him, he charges excessive amount but then he will add on other material ads that he does not tell you upfront he tries to slide it in... I just found out after he used a few F bombs on me, that he wanted to bring in a concrete mixer, at $1000 to start instead of his crew mixing it by hand because it might take too long and he was trying to save me time and money. I asked him when was he going to tell me this information when I told him budget is very important to me because I live by myself and I do not have a dual income , Mr. Tucker leaves the jobsite, messy, he'll use your Homestead as his own toilet, thanks to cameras and his own admission. Be forewarned get everything in writing, make him give you all costs up front. Thank goodness no signed contract..

I wish I would've found reviews before I hired Thad Tucker with Brickworks Madonry and Concrete…read more(that was the header on our contract). He was contracted to repair some bricks around my chimney. Contract was to replace flashing, reseal it, etc. I paid him over 2/3 of the contracted price (my mistake and he claimed he needed it to get supplies). Thad can't get up on the roof. He says it's his knees, but there's more to his balance. His guy got here 2 days after initial deposit. He was here less than 2 hours. Thad tried to claim he was here all day but I had cameras. The guy threw some tar around my chimney and left. He didn't replace the flashing, nothing. At the same time he damaged additional brick. Before I saw the work done since I was still working, Thad demanded the second payment. I went ahead and gave him a check because he was so pushy. He promised they would be back within a few days to finish it. They never came back. I asked Thad to even come look at it and he refused. I have pictures of what his guy did and the additional damage caused. Thad continues to push people over saying he's Thad Tucker and his name holds weight, but the contract I have and photos of what he did speaks differently. I attempted to stop payment on the check and he cashed them at my bank. One of the times I got him on the phone he offered half my money back after he worked on another job, but it has been months. I've requested a refund, many times because he refused to come do the work that he was contracted and paid to do and he's ignored since. The person that recommended him (not knowing his work apparently) even reached out and told him how crappy this was. I told him at the beginning I'm a single parent and didn't have the money to begin with to do this, but had to get the leak fixed. Instead he took advantage, took my money and caused more damage. I'll have to take him to court to have any chance of getting my money.

We have had a wet basement since we moved into our new built house 12 years ago…read more The last rain storm produced approximately 25 gallons of water sucked up by my wet/dry vac. We called Foundation Recovery and luckily were put in contact with Michael Drebes who took care of us with a complete waterproof System. We had Ricky and crew working on the system install and they did a fantastic job of getting it done. Last night we had our first heavy rain and our basement is dry as a bone for the first time in 12 years. A big THANK YOU to Foundation Recovery for taking such good care of our situation. No more worries & Let it rain

We have had FRS completely 2 major projects for us this past year and have been happy with both…read moreprojects. While nothing about French drains or foundation repair is fun, exciting or cheap; we knew we had to get some of this work done to our home due to some minor flooding/cracks in the foundation. After doing some research and asking for bids, we decided to work with FRS since we knew they would do a thorough job and offer a nice warranty for their work. Not to mention how everyone we worked with was super helpful and friendly and they explained lots of things to us in ways that we could understand. When you are going to spend $$$ on something as massive as a french drain and foundation repair, you really want to make sure you have some of the best people to work with and FRS was it for us. Earlier this week, we had Dylan and Sam out at the house so they could work on the side to help us with drainage and repairing the foundation. I really have no idea how this is done, but they managed to do it in just under 3 days and took great care of the yard and our neighbors yard while they were working so they did not make a mess or damage anything. Knowing that these giant house repairs have been completed, I know that our house will be taken care of we won't be experiencing any more damage. I know they will come out again in the future to just check in to make sure everything is still working correctly and I feel secure knowing they will take care of anything thanks to the warranty they offer on their work.
