Within the first two sessions, I learned so much about the mechanics of the foot and how the different parts of the leg work together. I so appreciated the time the trainer took to explain the mechanics to help me better understand what I should be feeling and what to focus on during the exercises he was giving me to do. It's been four sessions and I already feel a noticeable difference in my running. Aside from the incredible care I've received so far, the environment of the place itself is noteworthy. This is my first experience needing PT and I was nervous going into it. I'm not a big gym person and was feel slightly intimidated since this is a bit out of my comfort zone. But from the second you walk in, the vibes are immaculate. Every person on staff is so kind, welcoming, and approachable, and the owner, Ziad, is amazing. I highly recommend this spot!

Sessions are truly 1-on-1, working with Kristi has made all the difference in my recovery. At just 3 months post-op, I've seen huge progress thanks to how thoughtfully she's guided me every step of the way. Each session includes a great mix of manual therapy, mobility work, and strength training and nothing ever feels generic. Everything is clearly tailored to my specific needs and how I'm progressing week to week. Ignite has a wide range of clients and provides a welcoming environment the minute you step in. Highly recommend for any of your injury or sport performance needs.

I've tried various PTs through my insurance, but this is the first time I invested in PT out of…read morepocket, and it was absolutely worth it. I felt like my body was twisted and unbalanced, but the PTs covered by my insurance weren't able to help me until the issue I had been expressing eventually led to a severe injury where I couldn't walk for about five days. The PTs would give me exercises that I could have easily found through ChatGPT or a simple Google search, and then send me to an aide. When I had questions, the aides often didn't know the answers. They gave me A LOT of at home exercises, almost a quantity over quality, hoping one works. Then I found Dr. Gary! He is very different from a typical PT. He listens carefully to all of my issues (pain and discomfort seemingly everywhere. I'm sure I sound like a hypochondriac ), and then gives me some really odd exercises that I would never have found on my own. Somehow, I always feel better afterward. He goes all the way down to the basics, even teaching me how to breathe to properly engage my core, when to breathe during an exercise, and exactly where I should be feeling each movement. It's not just "here are some exercises, go do them." He makes sure I understand why I'm doing them and what I should be feeling. He also consistently remembers to send me my homework, often with videos. With the other PTs I tried, I had to repeatedly hunt them down to get my exercises, so I ended up having to rely on memory. Dr. Gary also responds to my questions between sessions if I'm unsure about an exercise, which has been incredibly helpful in making sure I'm doing things correctly. What I appreciate most is how much he genuinely cares about learning and thinking critically. I can tell he is constantly processing what he's seeing and what I'm telling him during our sessions and trying to figure out the root cause of what's going on. He tests and retests his hypotheses until my body gives him feedback that he's on the right track. I'm incredibly thankful for Dr. Gary and the care he puts into his work. If you're dealing with something that feels "off" in your body, I truly believe your health is worth the investment. Don't wait until the problem becomes a serious injury like I did because of the limitations of the insurance system. Take the chance! you may be surprised by how much the right PT can help. Dr. Gary is absolutely worth it!

After many years of experience with physical therapy--both as a parent accompanying my son through…read morehis treatment and as someone who has seen firsthand the difference between average care and truly exceptional care--I can say without hesitation that this physical therapist is extraordinary. My son has dealt with significant orthopedic issues and chronic pain for many years. Beginning as a highly competitive young athlete, he has undergone multiple surgeries and an enormous amount of physical therapy. I honestly could not begin to count the number of appointments he has had over the years--certainly hundreds. We have seen physical therapists in numerous practices and have experienced virtually every type of approach imaginable. Nothing we have encountered compares to the care he is receiving here. What immediately distinguishes this therapist is the way he listens. He takes the time to understand the patient, asks thoughtful questions, and genuinely evaluates what is happening rather than simply treating the area where the pain happens to be. His understanding that the body functions as an interconnected system--not as a collection of isolated body parts--is evident in everything he does. Most importantly, the treatment is individualized. There are no generic exercises or one-size-fits-all protocols simply handed to the patient. He evaluates, observes, communicates, adjusts, and explains. He pays attention to subtle things that other practitioners have overlooked, and he treats the person rather than just the diagnosis. For someone who has spent years going from doctor to doctor and physical therapist to physical therapist, being truly heard and understood is enormously important. My son has responded to this approach in a way I have rarely seen throughout all of his years of treatment. This is a small practice, and I sincerely hope it grows, because exceptional practitioners like this deserve to be known. Anyone fortunate enough to get an appointment should consider themselves very lucky. The combination of knowledge, clinical reasoning, communication, compassion, and individualized attention is remarkably rare. I have spent years watching my son navigate physical therapy, surgeries, rehabilitation, and chronic pain. That experience has given me a very high standard for what I consider excellent care. This therapist has exceeded it. I only wish my mother, who has Parkinson's disease, had been able to see someone like him earlier in her journey. That is perhaps the strongest endorsement I can give: when you encounter someone who is this exceptional, you find yourself wishing everyone you love could have access to the same level of care. If you are able to get an appointment, I would not hesitate for a moment to recommend him.
