This is the place to be if you REALLY have had an injury or disabling condition. I have been going…read moreto this extremely professional establishment since August 2014. Before starting therapy I was barely able to walk with an extremely debilitating diagnosis of bilateral Achilles Tendinosis. Not only incredibly painful, this is a very slow condition to heal. It also required the Therapist to have the very best understanding of this condition. It is very difficult to treat and is rarely seen in both ankles/feet at the same time. Dr. Robert Inglis was and is that person. With oodles of credentials and even a Doctorate of Orthopedic Manual Therapy, he painstakingly takes his time every visit making sure your entire body is working to its best capacity to ensure healing of the injured area. He is such a fine person and his Orthopedic skills are life changing!! Dr. Inglis treats everyone that I have seen as family. He truly cares and is very committed in healing his patients and not keeping them lingering for endless treatments as I have heard about other establishments. The therapy assistants and staff are very helpful. They manage to work in all your appointments at your convenience. But just a warning, make your appointments with Dr. Inglis as soon as possible. Although you can always get in and barely ever a wait...he is extremely popular as I have explained why. Those in the know (long term patients) schedule for a month at a time. Truly a sign of a wonderful doctor! They never over book so your time is set aside for YOU! I am no where close to the end of my treatment but I have come a long way. I am walking, able to exercise to some degree, go shopping for small amounts of time, restaurants, and almost all of life's pleasures. Although I probably will never run a marathon, I know Dr Robert Inglis will get me to where I should be to live a pain free life. Thank you to everyone at PHYSICAL THERAPY SPECIALISTS....

My initial visit was…read moredue to my sedentary life style with working from home and sitting in front of a computer screen for 8-16 hours a day. Working like this for a couple of years will kill your muscles and cause issues down the road. Frank not only helps you but he will teach you how to stay active and healthy. To me, this was worth every penny because knowledge like this is hard to come by from a certifiable source. Sure, you could Google or use AI to find a resolution to this but there are questions that Frank can answer on the spot to help you achieve your goals. The exercises and training Frank picked were catered to address specific issues. For me, after two or three sessions I felt a big difference in my hip and left arm. I felt like I could move again like I did when I was in my twenties. If you need someone that can work with you to figure out what is bothering you then Frank is the person to go to. Highly recommend and will be referring my friends to Frank for their physical therapy needs.

There truly aren't enough words to express how grateful I am for Dr. Lee…read more When I first walked into his office, I was desperate. I was training for the LA Marathon and dealing with knee pain that had me worried I might not make it to the starting line let alone the finish line. I was hoping for a quick fix, but Dr. Lee helped me understand that healing takes time, consistency, and trust in the process. From day one, he believed in me even when I wasn't sure I believed in myself. He was incredibly patient, encouraging, and took the time to explain every exercise and every step of my rehabilitation. I never felt rushed, and I always felt like he genuinely cared about my recovery and my goals. Because of Dr. Lee's expertise and dedication, I not only made it to the LA Marathon, I crossed the finish line with little to no knee pain. It was one of the proudest moments of my life, and I truly don't think it would have been possible without him. Even months later, I still use the home exercises he taught me, and the knowledge he shared continues to be part of my training. He didn't just help me recover from an injury he gave me the tools and confidence to keep doing what I love. Dr. Lee is one of those rare healthcare providers who genuinely cares about his patients as people, not just as injuries to treat. His compassion, expertise, and commitment make him truly exceptional. If you're looking for someone who will support you every step of the way and help you get back to doing what you love, I cannot recommend Dr. Lee highly enough. Thank you, Dr. Lee, for helping me achieve a dream I'll never forget.

After a…read morefew days I started to have lower back pain and leg soreness, which I assume is from the work set up (ie not very ergonomic). I'd come home very tired and the lower back pain affected my productivity at work. I came to Kyle with my concerns and he did a number of assessments to see where the pain is originating from and even pinpointed which side of my lumbar (I forgot which part of the lumbar) the pain was radiating from. He made sure to describe what each assessment was and how he would use it for his eval. He made sure that I was comfortable throughout the process too. From there, he recommended some stretches and even gave lifestyle change suggestions to prevent the back pain, such as getting better ergonomic equipment, sleeping better, sit in a certain position, etc. The combination of the treatment plan and lifestyle changes helped a lot. The pain and soreness significantly decreased. Even when there were days I couldn't complete the workout, I still feel better! Super recommend Kyle for any PT needs.

Kyle has been the most knowledgable, professional, and caring physical therapists I have ever worked with. After my very first session I felt relief from the pain I have been struggling with for months. After only a few sessions I started getting mobility back, which I have missed for about 6 months. I am very impressed with Kyle's knowledge and his ability to get results when others couldn't.

I fully trust in the professionals. However, we recently transferred our father to this facility due to the situation and facility he was in prior to entering Kindred. From the moment we walked in the door, we were greeted with professionalism. The nurses and doctors on staff were always attentive to his needs and did an amazing job at communicating with us. Not too shortly after, his health took a turn for the worse so he was transferred to the ICU unit. There, he received top notch care. The nursing staff was more than accommodating, attentive, communicative and professional. Most of all, calm and empathetic to the situation. He didn't end up making it out but I will say that the treatment and care that my father received was something I've never seen before. The doctor made sure to call me everyday to talk about treatment plans, status, etc. The nurses never hesitated to answer questions and give us updates. The facility itself is well run and clean. I honestly felt an open door policy with the admin staff as well. I would recommend this place in a heart beat. I couldn't have asked for anything better for my dad throughout the last few weeks of his life.

After spending almost three weeks in the Acute Section of Kindred Brea, on October 2, 2024, it was…read moredetermined by my doctor that I could be safely moved to the Sub-Acute Section. The care that I received there was totally different than the care I received in the Acute Section. I feel that CNA Brenda helped me more than I can even put into words. She was A+ excellent! There were less patients in this Section compared to the Acute Section. In addition, those of us there no longer needed the intense medical interventions that we previously needed. For me, that meant that I was no longer on a drip IV antibiotic, but rather on just swallowing one antibiotic capsule daily. This represented a move in the right direction or to say it better, one last step before being given the go-ahead to go home! Once again Victoria, the Patient Advocate was by my side in every manner. When I had a complaint, she listened. When I had something good to say, she listened. She was fabulous!! While this section had a smaller gym than the Acute Section, I feel as though more positive goals and accomplishments for me were met in this gym. I was introduced to Amir and two of his assistants, Daniela and Genevieve, in this gym. If there can be a grade over and above A+, that's what I give to Amir. He didn't care if I said I was in too much pain to do anything. He made me do the therapy anyway, which in the end, made me feel so much better. He took me from a five to at least an eight in approximately a week and a half. Amir, you are the best!!! However, as nice as this all sounded, one thing remained the same. The food service was almost never correct. I continued to receive items I didn't order. The last few days I was there, the Food Service Manager personally delivered to me my meals, making sure I was getting what I would eat. There was no variety. For the most part, I was given either a cheese quesadilla or a little cheese pizza, along with two cups of watermelon. While I liked that, it did get a little boring having the same thing day in and day out. Aside from the food service, everything and everyone in this Section helped me to recover to the point that, on October 12th, I was given the green light to go home. I'm giving this Section 5 stars!
