I loved my weekly appointments at this place. I had a laundry list of problems and could barely walk and hadn't really slept in about a month when I first started here: sciatic, piriformis, shin splints, muscle spasms in my leg that kept me up at night. My therapist added several more problems like: tennis elbow, scoliosis, and a few more but whatever- those problems though painful were not the ones keeping me up at night Coupled with acupuncture, this place got me back on my feet within maybe two months. I went to CJ Physiotherapy for PT on a torn meniscus. Over the course of my therapy I worked with Dr Chung, who I found to be kind, compassionate, and extremely competent in his treatment. He always listened to my concerns, answered my many questions, and really helped me regain mobility in my knee. Sharon in the front office is very kind and patient. The many assistants in the treatment area are helpful and encouraging. The facility is kept very clean and the assistants are always cleaning treatment tables and keeping the equipment in order. All of the staff wear masks, although patients are not required to. By the way, the ladies' bathroom was impeccably clean too! I observed that various staff members are fluent in English, Korean, and Spanish to meet the needs of this community. I highly recommend CJ Physiotherapy for your physical therapy! read more

I have been to PT several times, mostly for various sports injuries, and this place is the best experience in PT that I have ever had. I like that it is a smaller, more intimate setting. I don't normally write reviews but my experience at this clinic was something that I felt was worth sharing about. I have chronic back pain from constantly working long hours and from the required manual labor that comes with being an EMT. I've tried getting massages and even seeing a chiropractor, each time leaving feeling better only to have the pain return not much later. I was skeptical at first about going to this clinic cause I thought i was going to get the same results, but I decided to give it a chance after one of my friends spoke so highly of it. Now I can see why. During my session with Dr. Kang, he didn't just provide me with the treatment then send me off on my way, as most doctors would do. Instead he really took the time to learn more about my daily routines and life style, pointing out areas that may be contributing to the pain. This helped me better understand where the pain was coming from and what I could do differently to prevent it. Not only that, he really went out of his way to personalize my treatment so that it wouldn't cause me any inconvenience. He taught me exercises that I could do while at work and gave me tips on minor adjustments that I could make that would help to prevent the pain from returning. Dr. Kang really goes the extra mile to make sure that his patients leave feeling better than they did before they came in. You can really tell that Dr. Kang is passionate about helping his patients, providing them with more than just a "quick fix" to their problems, but rather making it his goal so that they don't return for the same problem a week later. read more

They always make sure to let you know why they are using a certain technique or why they are attacking the problem from a certain angle. I came in with severe muscle atrophy, nerve damage, and limited mobility in my right arm, and, thanks to Dr. Kang, I have greatly improved in all three of those areas. I can actually use my right arm in my day to day life now! And most importantly I now have the confidence that I will get better.
