Very lovely views of the Savannah River. A good place to gather with friends for happy hour, or meet with people who are in town for vacation. The cocktails are dangerously good. read more

Wonderful ambiance and a great view but the staff needs a lesson in professionalism and customer service. We had a large party on the outdoor deck and moved a table to accomodate our party. Only after we moved the table and got comfortable did two employees come out onto the deck and make a big stink about how we were causing a flow problem. Now I understand that there was one of our chairs that was partially blocking a door and the employee said that was a fire hazard, I have no problem with him pointing that out and we were more than willing to clear the door. But it was the gruff manor and attitude the employees gave us that felt like we weren't welcome at the bar at all. We ended up staying several hours and spent a large amount of money (note: the drinks aren't cheap here) but we continued to receive dirty looks from the staff. Their attitude was uncalled for and I will not be in a hurry to go back due to the poor treatment we received. Shout out to our waitress Courtney who was fantastic and helped salvage our experience at the bar! read more

The view of the city and river splendor is awesome. Food is great but like the drinks, pricey. Unlikely they'll keep or gain a great local crowd consistently due to the $$$. The music they play needs to be classier on certain nights. Tonight, Sunday, it's obnoxious. It was great on Sat night I'm sure. Service is scattered to good but not great. Not sure why staff is allowed to be on their phones at the bar. I came up in restaurants. If you've got time to stand you've got time to contribute to the business. At least dally on your phone out if view of the customers. Especially when its slow and my glass is empty. read more

The waitress tried to serve us hot beer, then tried to act surprised when we complained. They charge you 5 dollars to go to the bathroom. Do not come here. read more

A sign of a thriving and expanding economy is lack of the ability to find good help perhaps. Read your bill carefully if you choose to visit this establishment. If I can offer the management a word of advice, use smaller tortillas or fill them up. read more

Top Deck is located inside the Cotton Sail Hotel on the top floor. Top deck follows a lounge/cocktail bar format and does a pretty impressive job. Top Deck reminds me a lot of one of the bars I frequent often in Miami, FL. The bar is located indoors in the center with a large selection of liquor, and craft beers on draft too. If you don't want to sit at the bar there are a couple tables inside and outside too. Outside there's plenty of space, couches, and the breathtaking view of beautiful Savannah. There's nothing like having a nice drink, and catching the sunset from out here it's quite a sight! The service is friendly, welcoming, attentive, and overall an awesome spot to enjoy drinks with groups of friends. Definitely one of my favorite bars from my Savannah trip, but to be fair the cocktails are not the best. Although they're delicious, it did seem a little too sweet and that's the only reason why I chose to hand out 4 stars. Everything else about Top Deck is definitely 5 stars! read more

Giving a star to this restaurant is seriously generous!! They don't open until 12:30 for lunch which is fine but we were told we could go sit on the deck while we waited since we showed up at 12! As we were waiting the manager comes out and kicks us out after we have been sitting waiting patiently not being disruptive at all. Clearly they do not want people's service or it could be that they knew if we left they could mess around for another couple hours. Then mocked us as we left, 10/10 would NOT recommend!!!!! read more

We sat outside for happy hour. I had a sparkling hibiscus and it was good. My grandmother ordered a gin and tonic and complained that it was flat. Instead of making a new drink, the server brought a cup of tonic water to prove that it wasn't flat and asked my grandmother to try it. We all agreed the cup of tonic water had bubbles but her gin and tonic had no bubbles. Server said it was because of the ice melting. We were all taken back that the server was trying to argue with us instead of just fixing the drink. This put a bad taste in our mouth and we left for the more vibrant scene next door! read more

Well worth it and in fact it became the nightly hangout for us. The fingerfood choices were great. Although we were there in early December it was still a hoping place. I can imagine how this place rocks during the good weather months with the outdoor terrace. Don't miss a chance to stop by. read more

Wow what a way to run a bar. Empty but the bouncer is too hip to stop texting while checking out IDs. View was awesome. We didn't try the food as we walked out. read more

A lovely unique expierence. Not only did we have a great view of the river in Savannah but we had great food, great drinks, and great service. You musy try their spinach and artichoke dip !!! read more

View is amazing! We only had drinks, enjoyed the sunset with the bridge and river skyline in background. Worth a look if you are staying at Cotton Sail. read more

Walked in to find the place pretty much empty at prime sunset time. Sat down at the bar almost directly in front of the bartender who was chatting with another customer. Not only did he not acknowledge us he continued chatting for several minutes. A simple I'll be with you in a minute would have relaxed us that we would be served eventually. Got up and left to take our business to the Bohemian next door. Which by the way was bustling and yet we managed to get served immediately. Won't be back to top deck ever read more

I couldn't have asked for a better experience during my first visit to Top Deck tonight. The food was decent, the cocktails were great, the atmosphere was amazing, but what really made losing my Top Deck virginity special was the treatment I received from one bartender in particular...Kari. She was so enthusiastic, on top of her game, and most importantly she made me feel like her and I were long time friends. Even when I spilled my drink down my shirt, there she was with a towel to wipe me up. Five stars for you Top Deck and Kari. I will dolphintely be back!!! read more

Greatview a top the cotton sale hotel. Indoor and outdoor seating. Music was a little loud. Drinks were good and generous. Would like to see a little more selection on their shelf for the liquors and drafts. Definitely would return. read more

Visited here last Saturday night and I honestly could have stayed here all night and enjoyed the great drinks and beautiful views. It is 21+, even for the restaurant portion so just be aware. We went at the perfect time and were able to find couches as well as seats overlooking the bridge for our group. Our server immediately greeted us as we sat down and began to take our drink orders. She was fast and attentive. I definitely recommend the summertime delight to drink if you visit in the summer. It's refreshing and light, perfect for a summer evening. I definitely recommend this spot for date nights or group outings. Try to sit outside if it's nice out, the views are beautiful. read more

The view is beautiful, the staff is very cute but the service is definitely lacking. Drink was just ok!

A large draw of the place is the great view it provides of the Savannah River and especially when one of the large cargo ships goes by. Full bar with a moderate draft beer selection featuring several local breweries. Food is bar type appetizers. Service can be slow when they are real busy and may not be properly staffed. read more

This bar is beautiful, I can't wait to come back for the sunset. Drinks/ service were excellent BUT what is up with those dorky polos? I like the Tshirts A LOT better, way cooler vibe. 5stars if the guys (bartenders) didn't look like like 12 year olds in those polos read more

Looked like it would have been a nice place with a decent menu, was excited to try. My girlfriend has asthma attacks and has a trained service dog with the proper identification card and all. Our service animal was with us when we walked in and instead of being greeted friendly it was "you can't bring your dog in here service dogs only". We exclaimed that she was a service dog and proceeded to show him the ID card (even knowing we were within our Ada federal rights not needing to show it). He then stated only service dogs not emotional support accusing us of merely trying to bring in an emotional support animal. We again said SHE IS A SERVICE ANIMAL showing him the card. He said only if she stops a seizure or helps lead a blind person. I said she retrieves assistance when my gf has an asthma attack. Eg: inhaler, bystander etc. I am a police officer and I am well aware of the laws and our rights to go into any public establishment with our trained service animal. He stated it's his management who enforced this policy. We were angry at this point so decided his eagerness to violate our rights with a service animal were enough to turn us away. Tough guy. Get educated before you turn down and piss off well paying customers. read more

Really cool new bar to get some drinks and enjoy the sunset. Had good service and really nice and modern decor. The food was delicious and not too expensive. Overall, a really great new place that we will be returning to often! read more

An uninspiring atmosphere, coupled with average food, perfectly normal drinks, and a good view just don't do it for me. Our waitress was attentive, but rather heavy on the attitude. In addition, I expected a much different crowd than the one that we arrived to. It was mostly retirees and older couples. I can only guess that the younger crew comes out later. The final straw was when they charged for soft drinks by the glass...who does that? I wouldn't recommend this bar and won't be visiting again. read more

Great food and drinks! Can get crowded! I recommend the chicken and waffle taco tapa plate! Great views of Savannah!

I came to visit Savannah for the weekend. This was the first place we went and it was fantastic. The staff was super nice, views of the sunset were great and I had the buffalo chicken flatbread that was amazing. It couldn't have been better. read more

Not so "top". My sister and I went in to see the view and have a drink. We wound up drinking water and ordering the pulled pork and pot roast sliders. There was no sauce and no flavor on the pulled pork. The pot roast was just ok. A little pricey for what they offer. Great view. read more

We had a great time in Top Deck! Would definitely recommend it! The food is awesome and the selection of drinks is unique! Best rooftop bar in Savannah! read more

The service definitely could have been better. The manager was the one that checked on us the most. This place is definitely more of a bar than food. My crab cake sliders were the size of a half dollar with a bun that was 2 times the size of the patty. The drinks were good that is one good thing I can say about here besides the view. read more

Great views. Pricey drinks. Although they are good drinks, so I guess you get what you pay for. If you haven't been here before it is certainly worth checking out. I feel like its a good place to bring your lady friends. Girls dig this kind of joint. Its classy. The food I've had here has been smaller portions, albeit tasty. read more

The view was very nice. The drinks were very overpriced, there was lots of places around with happy hour that would be a better option, then can take up there. read more

So, so beautiful. Drinks were ok but I have quite fanciful standards for that. Big enough that it was never crowded.

What a great view of Savannah. Service was slow but they were short handed and were very kind about it. Sunset on this roof top bar is a must see! read more

While out walking the town, my fiancé and I decided to pop in and see what the fuss was all about. Since it was late on a Friday night, we had our ID's checked and then hands stamped. The inside was pretty nice. The bartenders were friendly. The best part..the view of the water and downtown from outside. I didn't order a drink but will next time! read more

This place better watch it. It's a great location but probably one of the crappier bars I've been to. The bar staff was just pitiful. It was busy but, not unmanageable. I've been to places where the bar was much much busier and the services was much much better. There was bar staff just sitting around or talking amongst themselves, without even noticing that a group of people had come sat down. It probably took 25 minutes to order a drink. Another 15 to actually receive it- and that was just sitting at the bar. The view is great, but not if you can't look at it while enjoying a delicious cocktail. read more

Beautiful place. Service was great and food was good, but do not come hungry. They pretty much only offer smaller snack dishes.

One of the best views in Savannah! This is a great place to go at sunset and take in the view of the river. It's fun (for someone who wasn't raised in a port city!) to watch the huge ships glide by. The place feels classy but not stuffy, and the drinks are reasonably priced and quite strong. Only downside is that since it is such a great spot, it does get very crowded on weekends. On week nights, it's a very relaxing (or romantic) place to chat and enjoy the view. read more

So it's a bar and the drinks are really cool, with things like Gin infused with rose petals and vodka with lots of spices and herbs. But here's the the thing that got is, the FOOD! Amazing tapas, pork pulled sliders and a flat bread to die for! But the mustard sauce OMG. Can't say more just come and enjoy! read more

Love the view, like the bar, but serving a bacon brownie without bacon - not cool. Even after two of us voiced our complaint, nothing. These locals were truly disappointed. read more

Great atmosphere. Came here while visiting my parents. They were the oldest by a good margin but enjoyed themselves. The day we came was a nice day the end of February and the place was packed! The drinks were very good and there was a nice food selection but we were not hungry enough to order. The only issue was there seemed to be only one server which was not enough for all those people! She did a great job but they should have staffed better. read more

Food is excellent, atmosphere is great, service was not so great. We received our drinks 15 minutes after ordering and our apps maybe a minute or two later. The waitress didn't bring napkins or utensils. The napkins she did bring, were bar napkins. read more
