Please beware of this store! I've been shopping here for almost a year and never felt more…read moreuncomfortable. Today, when I first came into the store I started to look at lashes. When I look to my left and one of the workers was literally so close to me basically monitoring me trying to see over my shoulder and to possibly put his hands on me. All for 5 dollar lashes that I've bought dozens of times before. And then when I noticed he quickly resided back to his spot. I already felt some type of way before because they make you check your bag. But this is so ridiculous to make your customer feel like a criminal right when you enter the store. And when I told the front door man he genuinely could not care less. So take your money elsewhere

I have never been the type of person to write reviews online but this warning needs to be shared…read more Today I went to Beauty 35 to pickup a bottle of manic panic classic voltage hair dye in hot hot pink. I had 3 bottles of this dye at home that were purchased from the official manic panic website just wanted an extra one for security. Upon closer inspection once I got home I realized that the bottle I purchased in the beauty supply was FAKE. There were blatant variations to the label that looked nothing like the 100% authentic bottles I bought online. Everything from the ingredients to the actual color of the dye was different, I mean just look at the pictures and compare for yourself. (the larger bottle is the authentic one and the smaller bottle is the fake purchased today) I've shopped here for years and now I wonder what other fake products I've purchased from here without knowing.... As a black woman I would like to warn my brothers and sisters DO NOT BUY PRODUCTS HERE. Things like bonnets, beads, combs may be safer to purchase but who knows what they could be doing to those too. This store already gives off extremely racist vibes but the fake products are just the icing on the cake. Not to mention how filthy the store is....I will no longer be giving beauty 35 another DIME and I suggest others dont either unless you're extremely desperate. Its really sad how these beauty supply stores take advantage of and exploit our black dollars. Please ladies go somewhere that values your money and gives you the quality products you deserve.

I LOVE bringing a sample size bottle to try things before i commit to a big bottle. I literally reached into my laundromat recycling for an empty tide bottle, rinsed it out, and fill it over and over. The owners also inspired me to join my neighborhood buy nothing group! If you need some guidance for your own way of life, or someone else's, this is the PERFECT spot to try and sample things. Bring a mini container, you're welcome in advance (also hella cheaper than samples at CVS! WIN!)

I bought some lotion from them, and a while later (a month or so), my wife noticed black mold growing on the top. Pretty horrifying, because I hadn't noticed, and I'd been putting it on my face! Yuck. I brought it back, to tell them about it, not to ask for my money back, which I made clear. I just thought they would want to know. The salesperson called the manager to come over, who was excessively argumentative about it. "Let me explain something to you about our products," he said. "Our products do NOT grow mold." It was a little like the old, "who are you going to believe?" joke, since mold was growing right on top of the lotion, and we could both see it. And he just wouldn't stop. I kept telling him, I don't want to discuss this, I just thought they would want to know, I was just trying to be a good samaritan for one of my favorite stores. And he kept arguing. "Mold is caused primarily by moisture," he said at one point, as though he thought I was very stupid. Finally I said, "I'm going to ask you to stop talking." And he wouldn't! So I had to say it again. This all bothers me for two reasons. First, I thought the guy was defensive and insulting. Why disbelieve me? Did he think I brought some kind of fake moldy lotion to his store because ... why? He should have just thanked me for letting him know. Second, I thought they SHOULD care that their lotion grows mold! So the manager doesn't care about quality control, and he has an attitude problem. I don't feel that I can trust their products anymore, and unfortunately I cannot go back. It's too bad, because I used to love this store.

They have 80% alcohol, which is much higher than your standard sanitizers here in the United States. She offers so many different scents that by the time you smell them all, they kind of blend into one, but I love the variety and I particularly loved the tobacco smelling one (I'm a big tobacco scent fan) and the rainforest. She offers 5 packs with different scents which is nice, or bigger bottles of just 1. She also offers a ton of hand creams. This is a fairly new business and I'm excited to see them! I love the olive oil and the macadamia liquid soaps, shampoos and shower gels. II found that the olive oil shower gels an excellent product that leaves the skin moisturized. Bought a good quality lotion. Packaging is lovely. Definitely makes great gifts. Shopkeeper Yeliz is helpful, spirited and informative about her products. They have recently added a new line of hand and body sprays. Excellent product with a genuine lemon scent. Just the right level. Not overpowering.  I normally do not normally take to scents. It is a real pick me up. And it is antibacterial.  Small unobtrusive size fits in pocket, purse or outside pocket of a backpack.
