I have been coming to get my hair done here since this salon opened. I love it. I get my hair done by Ben who is absolutely the best but everyone else who works here is also good. This isn't a very high end salon like in the city so the expectation shouldn't be of that either. Some of the negative reviews I don't really get. Out of all the local salons, this is my favorite and I have tried them all. They work very fast so even on a busy day if there's a lot of people, the wait isn't long. Everyone is also friendly. If its not very busy you might even end up getting a 15 minute wash/massage (at no extra charge) :) Anyway, if you haven't tried them yet, I recommend you do. You won't regret you did and I'm sure you'll be back. I bring friends and family here all the time and everyone has been just as happy.

an amazing blowout by Justin

Love this hidden Gem spot! This hair salon by far is the best! The quality is way better than Red Hair salon or anything on this avenue U! They have better quality staff and amenities. My favorite guy is Justin, just ask for him for a cut and an incredible blowout you will never regret! Justin does an amazing job and will make you look a million at dollar baby!

If I could give a store 0 stars, I would. I've been shopping at Sephora for many years now and the…read moreKings Plaza location is the absolute worst one I have ever been to. It's way too small as a start, but yesterday was so bad I had to come on here and put this garbage store on blast. Before I could even walk in to pick up an order I placed online, from DOWN THE CORRIDOR, I heard music from the store. Sephora locations sometimes play loud music but this was nothing like anything I've experienced before. When I got there I found out just why it was so unusually, insanely loud: I was treated to the absolutely deafening sounds of a live DJ playing Caribbean music for some ungodly reason. Have I mentioned how small this store is? Whoever the genius was who decided to have a live DJ in a store the size of a studio apartment at best needs to be reprimanded. I don't want to sound like a boomer but there is just no good reason for that in a store. I could not hear anything at all but that music. I have AuDHD, and was so overwhelmed and overstimulated by all the noise that I very nearly had a meltdown; even with noise cancelling AirPods Pro 3 in my ears, the bass was literally shaking my chest. And God help anyone who needed assistance finding a product or something because you would have needed to scream over the music like it's the damn club on Saturday night. I saw numerous people trying to ask questions having to shout. To add insult to injury, OF COURSE the online pickup area was right next to the damn DJ. A team member directed me over there and I felt like a cat whose tail got stepped on. It took about 20 minutes in another, empty store for my nerves to settle. I will never go to this store again. Quite literally rather just go to the one near my work in Manhattan or even go out of my way to 86th St than deal with this store again. This one is way too reminiscent of the bad old days of Kings Plaza: ghetto, unprofessional, and aggressively disdainful of the customer experience. Neurodivergent customers and otherwise. BTW I went into Ulta around the corner afterwards and it was a night & day experience. Pleasant, calm, staff was friendly and the store wasn't claustrophobic or chaotic. I'll be shopping there from now on and I suggest others needing beauty products in the mall to do the same.

I've booked a beauty service in the past, but this particular one was really good. I was able to…read moreget an appointment within an hour and a half to confirming (I can't tell if same day is typical though). My LBA Berlyneda was super patient, informative and detailed. For starters, she showed my face so much love with a moisturizer, and a nice face massage. My skin immediately felt refreshed and ready for my beat. Before we started the moisturizer, Berlyneda asked me a few questions regarding my function and outfit colors. As well as the level of makeup coverage I'd like. She was quick and about her business. I would recommend her and surely booking again.

And I've never seen this store before so I went in for the first time yesterday and oh my God. I was so excited. They had everything I could ever want. If you want crunchy squishy, RUN to the store, they have such a nice selection. And they have so many squishes and cool fidgets and Tabas. Yesterday I bought a dumpling that was a Halloween themed one, [it was also a crunchy dumpling which I've never seen before], and I bought a giant stick of butter and a crunchy skeleton squishy. I loved all of them and today I went back and got the mirror and the taba squishy. They have a nice selection of squishy's if that's what you're interested in. And they also have this little keyboard fidget and it has like 26 keys and it's a keychain and I think next time I go, I might buy it. Very cute. The store is so clean and nice. The staff are very friendly. If you're in the area, I 100% recommend you check it out. They have a lot of cute gifts and blind boxes and just like anything you could ever want is in this store.

It doesn't have as much snack selection compared to the other shops next door, but it does offer some competitive prices. Rumi Life also has a good promo deal with the pre-packaged mystery bags as advertised. Overall, store is clean and staff are readily available to help look for in stock items.
