I would give them no stars. They are horrible people. Two brothers who I wouldn't trust at all. If they reply to this, don't be fooled by it. They are acting like in a movie but it's is your health and life they are misleading you with. Beware! I am a healthcare worker with a masters degree and decades in hospital social work. I've had chiropractors several times in my life who I trusted and who helped me. These men are DISHONEST and want to make as much $$$ as they can by billing your insurance for all that it will cover. It's taken me years to be ready to write this, bc I had such an AWFUL EXPERIENCE and didn't want ANY connection to them, even on Yelp. These brothers REQUIRE PATIENTS GET ALL MODALITIES (services) they offer. If you refuse they will tell you to leave. 1. X-rays 2. painful deep tissue massage (I had it and refused it the next visit) 3. Spinal adjustments 4. dietary counseling The honest details; I was in pain the second visit, from the deep tissue massage from one of the T brothers. The other one told me to LEAVE if I didn't agree to allow his brother to continue deep tissue massage work. Final straw, they display pamphlets saying patients should NOT FOLLOW a vegetarian or vegan diet, they will not support you if you do!! The info was ANTI-VEGETARIAN and not scientific. I didn't go to them for this, I have my own values and don't need to change them. They REFUSED to work with me unless I used all service modalities they offered. I was shocked and I left, very glad I didn't have to see them ever again. Stay away. read more

As Thanksgiving approaches, it makes sense for me to write this review for a business that I'm truly grateful for. My comments are specific to pre-natal myofascial and chiropractic care, but I can vouch for non-natal care as many members of my family now receive treatment from Tootoonchi practice after my excellent results. TL:DR I wholeheartedly recommend this practice for pre-natal and non-natal massage and chiropractic therapy. I'm currently 35 weeks pregnant with my second baby. In my first pregnancy I suffered from SPD that made it difficult to walk even very short distances by week 25. I had done plenty of prenatal massage and standard medical treatments (e.g. physical therapy, bands), but they were not at all effective. I had never been to a chiropractor before, so I was a bit nervous and skeptical at first. I've now been receiving care from Tootoonchi for the past 4 months and I feel so much better than I did compared to my first pregnancy. It's night and day. The treatments from Tootoonchi have better enabled me to enjoy this special period in my life. I am treated by Dr. Iman and Dr. Ali, who are both clearly very skilled in their areas of expertise, as well as caring and considerate people. They have a unique approach with ~10-15 minutes of myofascial release on a key area, followed by a brief and effective chiropractic adjustment. Somehow this combination leaves me feeling balanced and comfortable in my body. I sleep better and am even in a better mood! Undoubtedly these practitioners are very gifted in treating and healing bodies. I once called in tears due to a back spasm caused by an unskilled provider. The Tootoonchi team took me in for a session right away, and also fixed the unbearable pain right away. I could not have been more appreciative of their talent and consideration. Frankly, I don't trust anyone but these guys to treat my body anymore, especially while pregnant. Finally, I've referred many of my family members, including my husband, siblings, and mom, to the Tootoonchi brothers. They are receiving great care and feeling good in their bodies. Full disclosure: I do not know how their actual services are. The reason I don't know, is because when I called to make an appointment after purchasing a 3 session Groupon voucher, I was told they only do those one day a week (Thursday), and only until 2pm, and the only options for appointments are either 5 or 6 weeks from now. And that's it. Only those two days, only before 2pm. So.... If you have a job, or school, or, idk... anything - it's pretty useless. Wish I had called to check before buying. The lady on the phone didn't really try to work with me and see if we can work out another option. I find it hard to believe a business like this only works 2 days a month. read more

I would give zero stars if I could As a new patient I was looking forward to seeing a chiropractor to get adjusted. I went into my room to change and the receptionist informed me it would be one moment. I waited over 35 min before she came back in to tell me it would be a little longer!! If he needed more time with another patient then he shouldn't double book himself and keep someone waiting over half an hour it is just unacceptable. Either have better time management skills or just learn to reschedule appointments but they do not make you feel welcome or important it is not worth wasting your time. read more

I wasn't going to leave a review since most people seem happy with them. However, I was so disappointed with the service that I finally decided to review. The myofascial man is very good and everything felt great after he finished. That's why I gave them a 3. IMO he could have a five but the chiropractor I would give a 1 star. When he came in I asked him to avoid my neck area. That appeared to upset him, he muttered "still believing those old myths, huh?" And then proceeded to yank and pull on various parts for a total of 3 minutes. Maybe less. He yanked on my legs so hard the left has gone a bit numb. I found it to be very unprofessional and I would never go back. They do hustle VERY hard for you to buy the packages of treatments. I didn't care for that either but a lot of them do that. read more

I have been coming here for 7 months now. I paid out of pocket for the therapy of chiropractic and myofacial release therapy. I paid a little over $3000 and I came 3x/week for 10 weeks consistently plus a few weeks of twice per week. I really prioritized coming to heal some muscle tension from weightlifting and maintenance stuff. I also did the clinical nutrition and purchased the recommended supplements. I also bought and wear 2 orthotics ($500) that they recommended for me to have. Their treatment is a whole package. First of f all these guys have very gifted hands. They are both very talented and definitely have a gift for the work that they do and they are very nice and friendly. Why the 3 stars... in my opinion the myofascial release therapy was too slow and I really only had 5 min or less of actual treatment per visit per doctor. Before the care plan that I purchased it was like $85 per visit. They told me to trust their process and I did but a lot of times I feel like there is a disconnect between what he would tell me he would start incorporating the next appointment ent and what actually happens at the next appointment. I'm not sure if it's a lack of notes or reviewing his notes but when I ask he just brushes it off... maybe they have way too many patients. That was my main issue. As for my results, it's hard to say since I have a baby, work full time and do full tome weightlifting training/competing so I'm constantly tearing my muscles so I don't think I'll ever be 100% at one given time. I just feel unheard since I've voiced my concern for working on release for my upper body and the whole time I've come here I've only been worked on in one area predominantly and maybe sometimes very rarely 2 areas. He's mentioned doing graston on me "at my next appointment" multiple times and never happened. It's really frustrating. I kept trying to be patient and trust the process but months and months later and over $3000 later... I think I'm done. Appointment-wise, it can get really busy in the evening and the wait can be quite long past your appointment time. Firstly she hung up on me when I mentioned a groupon deal (thank goodness I had not purchased it and was only considering purchasing it). I gave her the benefit of the doubt thinking the call may have dropped so I called back immediately but she answered the phone and placed me on hold and then proceeded to keep me on hold for a very long time and she never came back on the phone. I wonder why this chiropractic practice is even in business if they can't even attend to client's questions. I think you should seriously think about hiring a new receptionist because after my call with you I will NEVER pay you a visit. They made a "mistake" with our insurance, and after giving treatment, they informed us we had to full price out of pocket. Expect a truly elite level of interactions with both Tootoonchis. They are both genuine, good-humored, knowledgeable physicians who will both ask questions and listen to answers with calm and understanding. Not at all unreasonable prices for out-of-pocket customers like myself, spending $80 or so per session that includes about ten minutes relaxing with electrodes firing across trouble areas, a myofascial session (that unexpectedly relieved years of foot and leg pain and rescued my injured knee), and an adjustment/consultation with the chiropractor, who snapped me into shape with great precision. I did four sessions and they were life-saving. I wasn't looking for a chiropractor for the heck of it- I had torn my meniscus in my knee while golfing and subsequently injured myself somewhere in my rib cage or back and could hardly move for a week. Trying a chiropractor for the first time in my life and picking Dr. Tootoonchi was one of the luckiest decisions I ever made. I also joined a cleansing program that is part of the "nutrition consulting" suite of services, because I was tired of being out of shape, overweight, injured constantly, inflamed, you name it. As Dr. T told me in our first meeting, your knee is never going to heal unless you get it some nutrients. I did a 21 day cleanse that cost $256, again the first time in my life I've tried something like that. I'm 41 years old and had gotten fairly pudgy, had gone from an athlete to a guy who tears a knee golfing and can't remember the last time he sprinted full speed. I lost 15 pounds in the 21 days and it also recalibrated my entire approach to eating. After the cleanse, I kept going with the basic diet (meat and vegetables and blended fruit) and didn't 'reintroduce' much from my old life besides beer and macadamia nuts. Now I'm down 25 pounds and haven't had a chance to exercise but am looking forward to it. I can move around on my feet again, etc. I don't know if anyone else can expect the kind of impact that I have had from having sessions at Dr. Tootoonchi's. But I can state with certainty that they are kind, talented, compassionate and honorable businesspeople who will serve anyone looking for a chiropractor. read more

I feel so fortunate that this place was recommended to me. I cannot express how much they have helped me, and helped pinpoint the origin of my back and neck issues. They have a distinct plan and their knowledge of the body is amazing. They have eliminated my back pain completely and are now helping me through a 20 year old neck issue I've never resolved. I have been struggling with many postural problems that affected my work performance. After one visit the pain in my shoulder significantly reduced and have improved mobility and feels less tender so I can have more normal daily activities, which I really appreciate. I'm still under their care and I can already see the result when I work out. I workout regularly and every time that I tear or pull anything I bring it up and they are immediately on it and reduce/refill my pain and I'm ready to be back to my daily workout routine which is awesome. My insurance doesn't cover chiropractic visits but they have great packages and payment plans that patients can take advantage of and still get the care they need. The office is always spotless and clean which I appreciate. They created a very calm and positive environment and everyone is super friendly which is nice to see especially when you are in pain. I went in to see Dr. Ali and Dr. Iman -- they spent an hour evaluating and treating me. Afterward, I stood taller, feel more grounded in my body -- my neck pain much less. Just one treatment! That night I also went to sleep feeling like there is so much freedom in my body. When you come to them you get treatments from many different disciplines -- chiropractic, nutrition and fascia release (which is really the best hidden secret --- no one really do this!). Went to have a pinched nerve treated. They gave it a quick look and tried to sell me on a multi-month nutritional wellness plan. I asked that they instead treat me for what I came in for. They said they only did that for patients who were on their wellness plan and refused to treat me. I had to pay them $90 for this "service" and they said they'd bill my insurance company and reimburse me for what my insurance paid. I called my insurance company today, who confirmed that this practice NEVER billed them, although more than 30 days has elapsed. I paid $90 and got nothing but a sales pitch. read more

I have been to many chiropractors and I can say without hesitation these guys are the absolute best! I came in with numb hands which turned out to be a pinched nerve in my back. I had been to several chiropractors over the past 4 years to deal with this issue but got no relief. I was in tremendous despair that I would have to live with this issue for the rest of my life. I did a lot of research on chiropractors in the area and decided on this clinic because it had come highly recommended by a friend who had the exact same issue. I came here because of a Groupon offer for 3 30-minute myofascial release massages. What I ended up getting was no more than 10- 12 minutes of massage each session. I got at least 15 to 20 minutes of heat and Ice before my sessions and the doctor took a lot of time with me to help explain Anatomy, physiology, methodology and ways to treat my pain. So I feel like 30 plus minutes was spent on me each session but I only received 12 minutes of massage and that's the primary reason I bought this Groupon. I have no doubt that these doctors have the expertise and knowledge to treat pain effectively however the Groupon ad is a little bit misleading if you think you're going to get 30 minutes of Massage. Maybe the doctor felt that 10 to 12 minutes of massage was best for my condition however I think that should have been explained to me and because I did not receive what I paid for, that is the reason I'm not going back. read more

Be very careful with this doctor. My mother was hit by a car and was taken to the hospital for her injuries. Later she had to see a lawyer to get compensated for the medical treatment costs. Our lawyer referred us to Dr. Tootoonchi for further therapy treatment, with the understanding that Dr. Tootoonchi's charges would be covered from the insurance payment. Our lawyer later informed us that she could not win the case so eventually we did not receive compensation for any of the medical treatments. The hospital, emergence room, ambulance services, and other care providers have since waived their charges. Dr. Tootoonchi instead is still demanding his portion from my 75 year old mother who is still suffering from her injuries. He is suing my mother and I, taking us to court to squeeze out the money anyway he can. Make sure you read carefully what you are signing in his office. read more

The whole staff here at Tootoonchi Chiropractic is wonderful. The are very sympathetic to your pain(s) and do everything they can to help you feel better. They even have their own x-ray machine right there on site to help display exactly what's causing your pain. This was very helpful, especially since I am by nature very analytical. They started on me with electronic massages strategically placed, ice packs, then moved onto releasing pressure by working on my fasica, and then the adjustment, I left feeling much better. read more

My husband and I have been coming here for about a year. I can't say enough about how much they have helped us! We always joke about how we can't move out of the area, or if we do we will have to fly in to their office every week. ;p They actually are not the type of office that tries to keep you forever - their goal is to get you at a good baseline and then come back for maintenance if you need it. My husband and I keep active, but have had years of neglect on really caring for injuries, etc and it has caught up with us. We were kind of getting to a point where we thought maybe we just can't do cardio workouts/run/etc ... We have been able to get back to working out like we have wanted to. We both get the myofascial work and chiro - I recommend both. ... We have been to massage therapists, other chiropractors, etc in the past. We had a positive experience with other professionals, but didn't feel like we were getting lasting results. We are really encouraged we found this place. I know everyone has their favorite person they go to, but I can't say enough how amazing this place is - try it for 3 sessions or so and you will get an idea of how it will work for you! read more
