Had the WORST experience with Dr. Dimick. I've never been so disrespected by a so-called professional. I had called to establish dental care for my daughter in April (this month) and notified them on the phone call that I could see a developing cavity in my daughter's mouth. I specifically asked if they could treat cavities in office for her (knowing she's a toddler based on her birthdate) and they said they would need to do an evaluation and would do treatment a different day. They NEVER told ME DIRECTLY that they can't handle sedation treatments for toddlers. We proceeded to come in and evaluate the cavity only to be told they can't treat cavities in office for toddlers. And it wasnt in a polite "oh I'm sorry you were misinformed" or "I'm sorry there was a misunderstanding." No. Instead, Dr. Dimick rudely interrupted me, held her hand up, and told me she would read through transcripts that would show I was told. Lo and behold, the transcripts never show them telling me. Supposedly 5 months prior (December of 2025) when my husband was calling dentists to find a dentist for our kids, he was told. I was not told. And 5 months later when I'm calling to establish care and I'm specifically telling them there's a cavity, why would they not "reiterate" such vital information?! I would NEVER have wasted time and money there if they would've been transparent and upfront with me, and confided they that are unable to treat cavities in toddlers. What is the point of a pediatric dentist who can't treat?? And more so, a dentist who so rudely claims to have told me things they did not. Absolute insanity and a waste of time. A scam of a dentist as I've found to be common in this area...Take money from you and claim they "evaluated" but doesn't have the ability to treat. It's laughable if I weren't having to pay out of pocket for wasted appointment and X-rays. read more

From entry to exit, they make you feel like family. There's always a warm welcome throughout the office as you greet everyone and my kids are excited to be there at every appointment. For those who don't prefer fluoride, you are welcome to deny it without any talking down from staff. Your decision is respected. Sunglasses are given to children as a start and a fun conversation begins. You're given a thorough explanation during your child's cleaning and the kids are allowed to speak and give an answer to the assistant's jokes and fun questions while they clean teeth. Even their advice on brushing is kind but they're able to express how much it's needed in particular areas. Parents can sit in the back with their child and watch and also sisters and brothers can color as the wait. Afterwards they're given a goodie bag and a coin for an extra treat from a machine. Dr. Dimik is an incredibly kind and patient doctor, explaining present and future plans to let you know what's in store. The praise she gives children makes them smile. She's also so kind to her staff and they're all so happy. It's great to see staff always smiling and their conversations with each other are bubbly. It beats when I was growing up and there was a lot of fear from dentists because dentists were stern or rough. One cool thing is that when a procedure is going on, children get to watch a show or movie while it's being done. They get to choose the video as well and Dr. Dimik and staff both converse with the patient and talk about how funny a scene was. I can't imagine us ever going to someone else. read more

So disappointed in not being able to be scheduled in for a emergency tooth situation. My five year old has a pretty bad cavity and has been crying about it. We need to get it pulled and this place looks amazing online. I made a request online for an appointment but didn't get a call or anything. So I called today but was told since I'm a new patient I would have to wait until next year to make an appointment. Then I got a sorry we can't help you and that was it. I called SkyRidge Dental and they said the same thing but after I explained it was for my five year old and how she's in pain they were able to schedule me in 3 days from today. I cannot say enough about Dr. Dimmick and her staff at Toothbud. My daughter only had her permanent two front teeth 6 months, when she badly chipped them both in a scooter accident. The feeling of panic and fear was consuming, but Dr. Dimmick had her in the very next business day and bonded both of her teeth to where you had no idea she even had an accident. Her caring and sweet way of talking to the children made it a very calming and relaxing experience for my daughter - who believe it or not even after that entire experience - is NOT afraid of the dentist. We've had a couple of kid-related mishaps since then, and the staff at Toothbud have been responsive, quick and most importantly very understanding to our circumstances, and fix her smile so it's as if nothing ever happened. I can't believe what I've been missing! I took my 8-year-old daughter here for two cavities today after a not-so-great experience with our last dentist. Dr. Dimick and her staff were AMAZING! She was familiar with the MTHFR gene we have (most people have never heard of it) and knew it meant nitrous wasn't a great option for my daughter. I was nervous about how my daughter would tolerate the numbing shots but Dr. Dimick was so great about explaining the process and reassuring her and so fast with the shots, my daughter didn't even flinch and wasn't in any pain at all. The room we were in was so comfy, they even had blankets for both of us...I was highly impressed and am definitely moving all of my kids to Dr. Dimick! And I wish she took adults haha! She demonstrated what she was going to do on a hilarious stuffed animal with "dentures" and a giant toothbrush, then made an examination surface out of our laps so my son could remain in a comforting space as she checked his teeth. When we heard that Dr. Dimick was one of the best pediatric dentists in town my wife and I knew we should at least check out Toothbuds despite the fact that it was 30 minutes from our house. The staff is so friendly and Dr. Dimick could not have been nicer or more gentle. The design of her office is gorgeous and there's a play grocery store in the front to help drive home that fact that good nutrition also helps prevent cavities. When the exam was over Dr. Dimick showed my daughter to a nearby table where she could make her own Valentine's Day card, because Toothbuds is a festive place. I like that. This was vastly different from MY first time at the dentist, where I was constantly yelled at to sit still and open wider. I never thought I would have a good "dentist" experience with my children. Going to the dentist has been a negative, stressful and overwhelming evil since my son with Autism was born. But how could I deny him something as extremely important and valuable for his health as visiting the dentist? I asked my son's speech therapist for help and she recommended Tooth Bud. From the moment Gigi answered the phone I knew this dentist office was different. I felt heard, cared for and respected. When we went for our appointment the simplicity and warmth of the office was perfect for my son with sensory issues. He and my two year old had so much fun in the waiting room while I marveled at the courtesy and friendliness of the staff. When the actual Dentist came out and played with my children I was lost in wonder. I watched with tears in my eyes as my children were gently exposed to the nicest and most understanding dentist and dental exam I have ever seen. The main thing that truly made Toothbud off the charts better than any other dentist office have ever taken my children to is the way they saw my children as individuals with individual needs. Dr. Dimick wanted to know how she could accommodate them not the other way around. It was like a dream, I kid you not. Dr. Dimick understands that sometimes things need to be exposed slowly and over time for the best results. My son surprised us all by being more willing to allow Dr. Dimick to examine his teeth than expected and certainly more than anyone in the past has been able to do. The front waiting room has books and a play area to keep kids minds off being at the "dentist". The back is bright, colorful and welcoming. My son wasn't to keen on sitting in the chair so he sat in my lap with his head in the Dr.Dimick's lap. She cleaned his teeth quickly and easily. It was a very positive experience. Was the most positive experience from start to finish. From the quick response via email to getting an appointment quickly, the staff was extremely accommodating, professional and kind. We were a little early and my daughter jumped right into the play area and had fun before her appointment. We didn't have to wait long before we headed in for her tooth cleaning and checkup. My daughter was nervous at first but the hygienist made her feel so loved and comfortable she quickly eased into the whole process and they made it even fun for her. Dr. Dimick took the time to explain everything they were doing and took all the "scary" out of it. As I was checking out, she went back to hug all of them. I'd give more than five stars if I could. Just brought my 2-year old in for a first exam and was astounded by how great this place was. The waiting area is like something out of the Thinkery, everything is bright, clean and fresh. Very friendly office staff. Dr. Ann is super kid friendly and gave all of us an orientation to the practice... brushing stations, exam rooms, etc. Everything is scaled down for young children so it all seems really approachable for them. My 2-year old was excited to use the brushing station and quite ok with the dental exam, which was brief, and struggle-free. So glad that we came and we will definitely be back. read more

My kids have been coming here for a couple of years now, and they LOVE coming to the dentist - they get so excited when I tell them they have an appointment coming up. I really love how Dr Dimick and her staff are patient with the kids and quickly complete their cleanings and exams. Younger kids often react differently each time they come to the dentist as teeth loosen and fall out. Dr Dimick always meets them with a smile and keeps them happy as she works with them. My son 7 is always happy to see here but not always excited about X-rays or the suction straw etc. They are marvelous with him. My daughter 12 has braces and loves the attention and gentle way they teach oral hygiene & compliment successfully keeping her teeth healthy. They both are doing a better job brushing as a result.
