Rancho San Diego BMW opened my transmission and found it to be in excellent condition except for what is called the mechatronic controller. They replaced the controller from a donor transmission, replaced fluid and made other adjustments at a cost very considerably less than a rebuilt replacement transmission. The car now runs perfectly. I worked with Martin who was first rate. The process was explained to me clearly and I was kept advised throughout the repair. Can't recommend Rancho San Diego BMW Repair enough.
