Yesterday, my son-in-law told me that he had been putting air in my driver's side front tire about every other week because it was looking low each time and he had forgotten to tell me. My TPS notice had shown up occasionally. I would stop and recalculate it. I thought that there was something wrong with that. He wanted me to take it to the American Tire Store to see what was wrong with it. I did and ended up being talked into two new tires for $280. I made an appointment for today to get them. As I walked out the door, I knew that I needed to get to Tony's Tires, where I have gone for at least 20 years. I went there immediately. Robert checked the tire, removed the nail and fixed the tire....all done in about 15 minutes! He was so nice and professional. When my car is really ready for some new tires, I'll only go to Tony's, like I should have done in the first place yesterday! Hopped in the car low air signal came on:/ went straight to Tony's tires Once they opened. It was a whole nail in there in my tire! I didn't even have to get out the car they fixed ( 2025 Hyundai ) it and it was under $25. Fast and reliable for sure. read more

I had called around 10 shops looking for an uncommon tire size and no one had it, I called Tony's and they said yes they have it, so I made the trip from Rosamond on my donut tire to Tony's, I was nervous to go to the east side of Lancaster but the shop is in a really nice little quiet area, and the workers are very friendly, and service was so fast ! Came in to see how much they would charge to change a nail in my tire. 15$ cool, so I asked also about a tire swap for a used tire 50$ cool. They were quick, polite, and did everything good. I kept my tire too. Yet when I go over to pay they even yell out "65 CHARGE" I tell the bbl cashier I'm paying with card and she says. " oh I have to charge you service tax" when at the shop it says just 1$ more for card. I said "so with cash it's 65$ flat". She got combative like she was the one working "WELL DO YOU HAVE IT?" These guys are great and have great prices and service. More importantly, they are honest. I had to buy some new front tires out of town. They were too loud for me, making too much road noise. Tony looked at them and could have easily sold me an upgrade, which was what I was hoping for. Instead, Tony assured me the tires I had bought elsewhere were a high quality tire and that most likely the noise was being caused by a bearing issue or some other mechanical issue. I just wanted to shared how genuine and mind the people there are. Two weeks prior to my visit there I had gotten a nail in my tire. I got it patched, a worker from somewhere else said it should be fine but I'll eventually have to replace it. it was working just fine until it looked flat again. I was almost positive my tire was at the end of its life. I went to Tony's Tires to get that tired replaced. I told him my story, but he checked it out and found I had ANOTHER nail!!!! Classic BAIT and SWITCH... Was looking to purchase some tires for my Son for Christmas. Spoke with Juan a few times, going over options and choices. Settled on some 225/70R 15 RAPID tires for $70 per tire installed... or so I thought. I live out of town so coordinating this by phone for my Son, Confirmed with Juan 10min prior to arriving to shop. When my Son arrived, he was told they only have tires for $100 per tire. When I called Juan, he now says they only have tires for $80 per tire. Had a crazy neighbor who popped one of my tires and went to some tire spot that'll remain nameless for the sake of their business, those guys charged me damn near 100$ for that one tire and it took them about 25mins. Started to drive home and noticed my car felt shaky. Realizing i had three practically bald tires and one brand new one, it had my car driving funny. I asked my boss if he knew a cheaper place for my tires. He told me "go to Tonys tires, they wont rip your ass off and they're fast as hell!!". So i said why not, cant be as much as 98$. Get to Tonys, and there were a bunch of guys workin hard, listening to good music and cracking jokes. Told one of the guys about the situation at the other tire spot AND that i had to pick my girls kids up from school in 30 min from the time i got pulled in. He grinned and tells me "those guys are suckers, we'll have you in and out in no time. We gotchyu!" And gave me a price that was WAY cheaper. Guys jumped all over my car. Once they seen the brand of the tire i got from the other tire spot, they laughed and told me i got one of the "shittiest" brands and laughed some more. They only took about 15 minutes to get ALL THREE DONE!!! And the whole time were VERY nice, funny and just good people really. Idk nothing bout tire stores (obvious by my first repair choice) but these guys are my ONLY spot for tires out here PERIOD!! They also told me they do brakes too! Im gettin them done there too! Tire guys are a 5 star business with great selection, quick service & knowledgable staff...the AV Wheel Hubcaps & Wheels guys are a rip off!!! Buy your tires here but get your rims somewhere else!!! Here's my story to back up my comments. Rewind to 2 months ago: I came here to trade out my 22" rims for the stock rims & new tires. Got everything I needed & was on the road in less than an hour. Fast forward to three days ago: I was changing out my oil & had my truck on the lift. I noticed that my weight was missing on the drivers rim & decided to check all of them. All of my rims were rubbing & were slowly being shaved off by the wheel well. My back drivers side tire was worn down to the metal by rubbing down my EBrake line as well. All of the tires were worn on the inside, remember I just bought these 2 months ago. Now that all the tires are bad & the rims are shotty...I take it back. Their answer is to add spacers to the already scraped up rims & buy MORE tires...ughhhh!!! I will never come back here for rims on any of my vehicles but I will definitely come here for tires!!! read more
