Blew a tire and saw my life flash before my eyes. Went to The Tire Store for a temporary used tire until the new set I ordered online came in. $25 bucks and about a half hour later, and I was back on the road. If I could, I'd cut half a star for a final rating of 4.5. It was raining and the tech kept my trunk wide open the entire time. Pretty funny, TBH I can't be too mad, the guy was changing my tire in the rain. read more

Came in to get a set of tires mounted and a wheel alignment. A nice young man wrote me up. I went outside but then turned around and went back inside because I didn't know where to leave my keys. Leave them inside with them or what? I asked the older man if I should leave the key with them or what. He ignored me. I asked the other older man the same question. Both of them treated me like I was invisible!! I went back outside and found the young man who wrote me up and left the key with him. Both of those old farts need to treat customers like we are valuable! I don't care to do business with those two old farts again!! read more

After reading the negative reviews, we realized we weren't alone in our experience of being given a quote for false and unnecessary repairs. We were referred to this place by our trusted mechanic, but unfortunately, our visit raised serious concerns. We came in for a wheel alignment only. After a long wait, they told us our shocks were leaking and needed to be replaced immediately, even giving us a quote for the job. I can say with 100% certainty that this was not true. We had just had our CV joints replaced the week prior, and what they saw was residual oil from that work, not leaking shocks. They should easily know the difference. We went straight back to our mechanic, who was shocked that this shop couldn't tell the difference. Sadly, they told us this wasn't the first time they'd heard about this kind of upselling from this business, and they've decided to stop recommending them altogether and were horrified over our experience. They thought the other times were just a fluke or an oversite or maybe someone new. They've been there for years and never had a personal problem with the alignments, or tires. Also, we showed them the quote and they just couldn't get over the pricing for the repairs! As a note, we didn't announce that we were referred to them by our mechanic and we politely declined the services and any work. read more

Avoid this place unless you like paying a lot of money for repairs you don't need. I had been going to this place for years foolishly trusting them. When I would go for an alignment Dino started giving me a repair list everytime I went in. The last time I went in, I got a $1200 quote from Dino. In fact, he said that he couldn't align my car until I had the repairs done since things were moving around too much. Skeptical of the repairs since it was the third time in a row I was quoted with a high repair list, I went elsewhere. The alignment shop I went to does an inspection for needed repairs before doing an alignment. I was told by that shop that everything looked good underneath and I had no repairs and they aligned it. I also had my personal mechanic check out my car and he said that I didn't need any repairs. I don't know how much money I wasted on uneeded repairs. Dino acts real friendly, but will rip you off. read more

I came in to fix my car's sensor because I just replaced the break pads and it was saying to replace it again. I went in to see the problem at 8 in the morning. They were very helpful and updated me consistently about my vehicle. Within the short time, they replaced my sensor and helped me fix my problem with a great deal on the price. I can tell by this short exchange that they care for their community and don't try to price gouge someone in need of help. I would ONLY recommend this place for the service department because of one mechanic, the master mechanic. CHRIS, who sits at a desk in service is a scammer. He tried to charge me for A service they didn't render. And then went back inside the building like a weirdo when he was outed. Not one time did he follow up with correct info OR apologize for the misinformation. The girl that works beside him is just as strange. Very SLOW service. Most the the employees are standing around, laughing, joking, and simply taking their sweet time. Affordable Tire in Palmdale is a little more expensive, but those dudes get you in and out ASAP. Guess I learned my lesson for going to a cheaper place. Took them almost an hour to just install 4 tires. Should have been a 20-25 minute job. Yes I saved like $70 bucks, but the unprofessional staff is a major turn off. read more

I went to the tire store for alignment. Waiting time is 40 minutes. My vehicle was placed in the alignment rack and the technician left my car. Twenty minutes passed. I asked the owner why my car is not being worked on. The owner said the technician is putting an estimate for your car at the other rack. I said, I just wanted my alignment checked. The owner went to see what happened to the technician, and the owner said the tech went to the bathroom. I said it takes 20 minutes to take a dump? The tech returned 30 minutes later, worked on my car for 3 minutes and said your car is ready. I value my time, If customers don't value their time. Go to the TIRE STORE. I am a huge fan of The Tire Store, and here's why: 1. I bought a new set of tires online from a different vendor. These guys installed the tires, did a great job, got me in and out in short order, and the cost was minimal. 2. They installed new front brake pads about 2 years ago, and did an excellent job. 3. I returned to have the rear brakes done (they've got 120K miles on them). But the mechanic told me that my brakes were fine; I could drive another 20K with no problem. And they didn't even charge me for the inspection. This kind of honesty is incredibly rare, and it will keep me coming back. 4. I called Toyota of Lancaster 4 hours ago, for an estimate on that same brake job. The person at the service desk said she'd have to call me back with a price. 4 hours later, and they still haven't called back. When I call The Tire Store, I get a real human being, not a machine. These guys are the real deal. One of the last of the great, honest, independent garages. Very highly recommended. read more

I went here today at THE TIRE STORE at around 9:30 AM because when I called, the person who answered my call, I think it's Chad, he said it's gonna be first come first serve. So I went ahead and when I arrived at the shop there was only one ahead of me and I asked the mechanic and he said its gonna take 1 hr for me to wait then he can attend to me, then suddenly several vehicles arrived and were attended by the mechanic who does alignment. I asked him what happened and he just said I don't know, things just happened? Seriously??? What a mediocre answer, I waited more than two hrs already and this is the answer I would be getting "he doesn't know? ", He promised I will only wait one hour, maybe it's true if he didn't attend to other vehicles who arrived later than me. This is one of the worst shop I've ever visited here in Antelope valley. I will never come here again. Full of mediocrity and worse customer service. read more

Women beware!! These guys take advantage when you are alone. I went in to get a patch and they charged me $25. I knew it was high but what am I gonna do not pay? I paid the guy and tipped the one who actually did the patch so it came up to $30. Then my husband went to get his patched also and they only charged him $15. Super not cool and would not recommend going. Especially if you're a woman. read more

I always have the best experiences here, they are super fast and always honest about what needs to be done. A few months ago I brought my car in to have the brakes serviced, after inspecting everything they told me that I was fine for another few thousand miles.
