They were able to pencil me in for a later appointment and had friendly service, came in for a quick haircut fade and they even helped me balance out my recommendations. These folks are fun, relaxing and make it easy to come back. read more

If I could give this place a no star rating I would. Stopped in last Friday to get a haircut by the usual guy Todd. For whatever reason he must have been having an off day because the length on the top was not what I was looking for. I only realized after I got home to shower. Today is Wednesday, I went in to have them fix the length on top, which they did. Only to have the owner take a chunk out of the top of my hair with the clippers, then try to tell me it's a cowlick...... Tony buddy you looked me dead in my face and lied to me... never coming here again. read more

Tony's Real Barber Shop - Handy work of a man claiming to be a barber. - Barbers Near Me - Mesa, Arizona

I have been coming here for a few years now for a reason, great quality service and consistent prices. I recommend it to anybody

I'm visiting my parents and have driven past Tony's numerous times during my visit. I was in dire need of a shave and finally just stopped to inquire about appointments v. walk-in. Told walk-ins only and was sat immediately in John's chair. Great conversation about watches and family. Shave and goatee trim look great. I looked at my Dad and asked John if he could take care of my dad's beard. SURE! Say my Dad in his chair and Dad said, "Take the beard completely off and I'll take a haircut." My 90 year old Dad looks great! Thank you John and Tony's Barbershopa read more

My husband went in for a hair cut and walked out with botched cut. Anthony could not follow simple instructions on what my husband asked for. I know my husband is not the only one who is so meticulous about how they want their hair done. After examining his hair cut, he asked to get it fixed because ANTHONY simply could not fade his hair properly. It legitimately looks like they put a bowl on his head and shaved around it. HORRIBLE SERVICE and HORRIBLE "BARBERS" If a client is not satisfied it's the barbers job to make sure they leave satisfied, or if that client asks to fix what they couldn't achieve the first time. read more

After several haircuts, I have not had a bad one even when changing the barber because the last guy wasn't in the day I was there. Clean place and not a lot of obnoxious or rude talking going on. I enjoy going there. So far my favorites are Ruben and Armen read more

walked in, got a friendly greeting and a great haircut. Place is super clean. You can't go wrong here.

I sat and waited for one full hour. to my dismay the owner's had his nephew cut Infront of me not only that I wasn't able to get my hair cut. Seriously that was not proper business etiquette. It seemed very intentional. make of it what you want but time is of essence. Pretty not cool read more

Love this place! I take my boys to Reuben and he does a clean job on their cuts! My husband also goes to him and is never disappointed. Great prices and even better service. read more

Bad spot suck at cutting hair and messed up 2 people since I been here for 45 mins and threatened they can be aggressive wouldn't recommend going here "TONYS FAKE BARBER SHOP" read more

Well I went there one time had my hair cut they cut it a little bit too short and also cut my sideburns which I told him not to and then after I got home I had these red marks on the back of my neck Which look like burn areas I would never go back there read more

I WISH I COULD GIVE ZERO STARS!!! Worst experience ever from the owner himself giving a haircut today! Today he missed up my child's head, he did not listen to my instructions! I had to stop him but it was already too late he buzzed his head completely off and my son started to cry because his hair was gone! And the first thought was gonna be how kids would see him at school now! Worst feeling ever! The owner was a jerk and never apologized!!! Don't come here they don't deserve money treating people like this read more

WARNING : DO NOT GO HERE TO GET A HAIR . This place is the perfect barber shop to go to for a bad haircut! These guys do not listen to simple directions. I asked for a simple half inch trim on my hair. They decided to take off 2 inches and cut my hair uneven. My mom had to fix my hair after the "professionals" cut it. read more

I've been coming here for almost four years and have never been disappointed. They have about 8 barber stations, half of which are usually in operation at any given time. Most of the barbers there are top notch and really nice guys. Obviously after gong for awhile I have my preference and usually wait for them to open up. Even if you have to wait a few minutes, it's all good......... they have so many good current magazines and comfy chairs to wait in you don't even mind chillin' for a bit. They charge $15 for a cut, which isn't a bad deal. A few of the guys there also offer a full shave. read more

First time here and I was impressed by Rueben (one of the barbers). I'm not a regular, so I had no expectations, but I can say Rueben was polite, conversational and thoughtful in his process. We cleaned me up nice and made sure I got what I needed. Beyond a great barber, a great person. If I'm back in the area and need a fresh cut, Rueben's my guy. read more

Recently moved here from Los Angeles, and have been desperately looking for a barber. Glad i took my business to Tony's Real Barber Shop. Super clean shop and all the staff are very friendly. Haircut prices are super reasonable, too. Ruben cut my hair and did a great job, I'll definitely be a frequent customer here! read more

Reuben was very thorough and selfless, only wanting to make sure I got what I wanted; even if I wasn't sure of what I wanted at first. He definitely got the job done, and I hope to come back this morning before my interview! read more

I have been looking for a good barber shop in the Mesa , Apache Junction area. Today I found it, searched my phone for barber shops and Tony's had good reviews. Stopped there today without an appointment, don't think they take appointments,. anyway I got right in and my barber was Nick, He did a great job, actually it is the best haircut I have had since my barber back home passed away, and that was three years ago. Nick is a great barber and if all the rest of the barbers in this shop are as good, you can't go wrong, Mike Lee read more

I knew I was taking a chance when I saw how old the barbers were at this place. Maybe I came in at a bad time, but when my turn came I ended up in the chair of a retired barbershop owner from Saginaw. Nice guy, no problem, but his idea of a haircut is to just shear it all off. Hell, three weeks later and I still don't need a comb. This was a very clean shop, and maybe it's my fault for not telling him to go easy on what little hair I have left. Anyhow, I don't think I'll be going back. For those who do go to Tony's, however, my advice is to speak up about what you want before you sit yourself down in that big swivel chair. Just saying you want a "regular cut" won't get it at Tony's. read more

Ok so I get tired of trying to schedule my self with the gal that usually cuts my hair at an unsaid ne Mesa salon so I thought I would take my chances and hit up tonys NO they don't wash your hair there's not a ton of haircare products massage therapist manicurist ect just some guys with shears and being I have curly hair I use to my hair being washed first and then cut with scissors Not at tonys baby this place is a BARBER SHOP the fellow that cut my hair was an older italian fellow very nice greeted me with ......how are you today sir....I sat in his chair and he went to work although a little nervous at first he ended up doing a darn good job he didn't make me look any more nerdy leaving than when I went in read more

I went there and asked for a trim. My hair was about 5" long and I wanted just a little taken off an I even told the guy to leave it long and just clean around the edges. I ended up with a bad fade and he cut off 2" on top. That's way more than a little trim. Highly unsatisfied. read more

I've been going here for more than six years, but now that Luigi has retired it is time to look elsewhere. Went in last weekend and got the worst haircut that I've had in a long time. I do not recommend this place any more. read more

My normal barber was not in and sat with someone else. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS BARBERSHOP. The barber that helped me not only was rude, he kept talking to one of the other barbers in a different language for my entire haircut, He was so busy talking, he took my fade past the crown of my head. He was rude during the transaction and was offended when I asked him if the fade was supposed to end on top of my head. I no longer recommend this barbershop, AVOID AT ALL COSTS. An at home job would be better than a cut by the barber in the 4th chair, a slender foreigner with glasses. read more

Reuben is amazing! He understood what I liked and the massage at the end didn't hurt either!
