Pizza is great! Other food items can be hit or miss but overall a good family place. Friendly service.

Tony's is attractive, well kept and clean. The staff was dressed professionally in all black. We Stopped in here for breakfast about 10:00 am. We were one of two tables. Our server was pleasant and polite. We were seated but not offered drinks right away. Usually at breakfast coffee & beverages are brought while guests are perusing the menu. The service was a little slow for how empty the restaurant was. One guest had a biscuit with gravy. The biscuit was light and fluffy, the gravy was full of sausage and very flavorful. The breakfast burrito was large and packed with flavor. I had the chorizo & eggs with cottage cheese. They will make reasonable substitutions for you. Our last guest had a poached egg with toast. The egg was poached perfectly. read more

Friendly welcoming service. Great portions. Clean and spacious dining area. I had the Fire Chiefs breakfast with sausage patties. Eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, very large tender flavorful sausage patties and crispy seasoned country potatoes, and thick wheat toast. I was very satisfied and had left overs for later. Hubby had the chorizo and eggs with beans. All were delicious, and the flour tortillas pulled it all together so well. Glad we stopped in on our drive this morning. We will be back. Thank you Tony's. read more

2 pizzas and wedges for 74$ is ridiculous. Definitely not worth it. The pizza is mediocre 1 pizza and wedges were 50$ the prices are insane, no wonder they are never busy! I got a full order of wedges they put about 7 pieces of wedges in a huge container. The chile verde pizza was good but seriously not worth the price. read more

I'm writing this review as I sit here. First of all the mozzarella sticks are AMAZING!! flavorful!! The gentleman helping us is attentive and super nice. Food came out super fast. Even though I live in Shafter I don't come here often, but I think I will come more often. Thank you for a great visit read more

Walking in and ordering was a bit of the normal. Inside looked nice with all the firefighters stuff but . There wasn't much to order and I just went with a medium pepperoni pizza. Ring me to $25 with two drinks. The wait time was probably around 25ish minutes and the pizza was mediocre for its price. Would say for the price you're better off going to domino's. The staff was nice though and felt like they were trying to make our day. Would go again if the price wasn't too high for its value. read more

Really looked forward to loaded potato skins & steak salad from here. Unfortunately their online menu is EXPIRED. It's only burgers pizza & breakfast So I can't recommend it if you want an actual meal When I'm in the mood for fast food items I'll give another review but for now it's a very sad face for this restaurant read more

I'm going to say everything about this place was great. Service was excellent! Food was excellent Especially the pastrami sandwich! I live 25 miles away and I don't mind the drive. The owners are very hard working people who make you feel welcome. I looked for something negative that I could point out, I could not see or find anything! I really like this place. read more

Horrible service you couldn't even order over the phone. They hung up in my face bad bad bad.

I went here a few weeks ago and had horrible service from the staff. It's like they were bothered by us wanting to eat and they were only interested in a tip. They rarely checked on us. The food was good and fresh. The window sills were disgusting with dead bugs along with dust. Yet the servers were just standing around looking at their phones. read more

My family has been here a few times already and we really the pizza. We are somewhat bummed they only serve pizza (wanna try other dishes) but we were informed before seating us. We have no complaints with the service we receive and the pizza always comes out hot. So why 3 Stars? What I dont like at all is being charged a fee without any knowledge of a fee. The restaurant charges a C.C fee. This must be new cause I cant recall a CC fee in my last visit and I study my reciept before paying. There was no indication at our table or at the door entrance (I checked) the restaurant is charging a CC fee. The fee was a dollar and change but the restaurant still should of informed me or had a CC fee posted somewhere. It is California law that they post it. Anyways, for now my family wont be returning and we will take our pizza cravings somewhere else. read more

I went here to meet some friends for lunch who chose the location for food. I've never eaten at a Tony's but I knew there would be pizza available. I arrived to a full parking lot (it was prime lunch time after all) so I had to park on the street. We were a pretty large party but we preordered our food so it didnt take too long all things considered with how packed it was. We all got our drinks in a timely fashion too. We ordered potato wedges, wings, and 2 pizzas. Unfortunately the wings spilled on the table upon delivery so she had the cooks make us new ones for no charge, which was a good save. Our server was pretty nice. As far as the for the food, everything was decent. We got a combo pizza and a pepperoni. The combo had tons of toppings! The wings were good flavor but I prefer mine a little crisper, but not everyone is into that like me. Nothing really amazed me flavor wise but I wasnt disappointed either. Overall it was a pretty successful lunch. read more

Customer service is everything ! Server or waiter Susan S has no customer service. My co workers and I had ordered before hand so we can arrive be seated and get reserved, NO that didn't happen instead they gave us our food to go. So I let her know that I had called to place and order, we were going to dine in. She looked around and said well im busy and told us to sit wherever we want. Stated that next time we should just go in instead of calling ahead of time. read more

I give them ZERO 's Went in with my family & ordered. We got our drinks & waited forever! Seen people picking up pizzas to go, other tables seated after us eat & leave. Still we wait. Finally they bring us the 1 small pizza for my daughter, it was cold! Never got anything else or explanation of why our order was taking so long... we left & will never return. read more

We usually love Tony's. We know they have a very light hand when putting sauce in their pizza, so we order extra sauce. Tonight was no exception. We had to repeat EXTRA SAUCE twice, as the young lady wasn't including that part when she repeated our order. We got the pizza home and it was as dry as could be. If anything they put on less sauce than usual. Highly disappointed after paying $35 for a medium pizza and a side salad. On the plus side the crust was delicious, as always. read more

Tony's has really fallen off of the map when it comes to their pizza. What once was the go to pizza place in Shafter; it no longer is that. With only two only other pizza places in Shafter. I feel Tony's in last. read more

Walked into this place with our kids and was given the most ridiculous excuse. We were refused service because we were a team...hmmm...what!? So disappointed! So...I guess if you are a team don't waste your time driving over. read more

Wouldnt even give them one star!! This used to be my favorite place to get pizza especially the chile verde pizza but today was AWFUL!! The pizza was dry and nothing like before or pictured, the other pizza we ordered without tomatoes and it was covered in tomatoes, they forgot our potato wedges, we had to get up and go to ask for drink refills, a box, and for our check.......the kids working were too busy drawing on each other and watching tik tok to acknowledge the ONLY table with customers at it!!! Wont be back again read more

It had been awhile since going to Tony's for lunch and must say a lot of changes! Their prices has really increased! I ordered a taco salad with ranch dressing and my husband has a turkey melt. The sandwich was about half the size from the past. Then must say my salad was really great until got the bill, I was charged for the ranch dressing! Also noticed that very few patrons compared to the past when it was so full. Maybe we stopped there on the wrong day. One good thing, service was great read more

Such a nice place. I love their pizza. We take out a couple times a month. Servers are efficient and the food has always been on point. Portions are real good. Clean and the menu is really nice something for everyone. Kay S. read more

This is not a typical Tony's Pizza. They have a full menu. It's a hot spot if you live in the area. Pizza is good, the items I have had on the menu have been delicious, Chicken salad, Chorizo breakfast, Hot wings, Chicken fried steak, fish and chips, and the California chicken sandwich! Customer service varies each time I come here. There have been days were I get wonderful service and days I need to remind them I need a menu. Though recently I have seen several new faces. Overall I enjoy the food and I have never been disappointed. read more

I have been a customer of this place for years. My family and I love the food at Tonys Pizza. but there is really a serious problem that is going to ruin this restaurant and it is the waiter named ABEL Every time I go to the restaurant and he serves me, he is very rude to me and my family. He always seems very confused and acts rude like he doesn't care about customer service. Today I placed an order over the phone and ordered an Enginer steak with eggs when I went to pick up the order and wanted to pay, he said he had no change. that I had to go get change. I decided to pay with the card. When I saw my food I noticed that the steak was completely burned. my plate was a mess. I called him to tell him if he could come back so they could place my order again and he very upset said my order was fine. I went back and showed it to him. He told me that they would do it again but that he had to wait about 35 minutes for it to be ready.. anyway. I feel disappointed in this place, I never back!! read more

I would only recommend this place to anyone who has plenty of time to sit and wait. We waited 45 minutes from the time we ordered our meal until it was served. The food was good; delicious as a matter of fact, but the wait was entirely too long. Probably won't return. read more

This place is hit and miss. It has kind of a monopoly since it's located in a small town. The waitresses really need to pay attention to the customers and the restaurant is truly in need of a hostess or someone to check on the needs of the customers. If they get your order wrong, it's hard to let them know when the waitress immediately disappears for 20 minutes at a time. This is happened on more than one occasion. They still want to charge you for their mistake. I don't mind paying for they're overpriced menu as long as I get good service. I will go back and if they step it up, I will update my review. read more

Doesn't allow customers to dine in after certain hours. Employee assumed that they were busy when in fact the restaurant was empty.

Very disappointed with our food tonight Pizza looked dry with too much cheese The wings burnt on the outside and raw inside The garlic bread raw $55 I can't get back and it was for a birthday dinner read more

My favorite pizza, it's a little pricey especially for us locals but delicious. And they also have awesome breakfast.

We were going through Shafter today and had been wanting to try Tonys Firehouse and decided to stop for Breakfast. The service was a bit slow but they waitress was very nice. I think they were short staffed. I had two eggs over easy, hash browns, extra crispy bacon and biscuits and gravy. My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak. Both of our meals were cold which was odd, because we had waited so long. The Biscuit and Gravy were hot though. My husband's Chicken Fried Steak was cold and rubbery. The Biscuit and Gravy was the highlight of our meal. It was good the Biscuit was buttery but fell apart. A little pricey mine was $11.99 and my husband's was $13.99. I would just stick to their pizza as it is always good and that is what they are known for. read more

Trash. Full menu but you can only order pizza, takes forever, orders are always wrong, servers are bad.

Food was below average and way overpriced compared to other local restaurants. The server was distracted and couldn't remember items we asked for. One meal came to the table almost 15 minutes after the first meal was brought out. It's no wonder why the place is always empty. read more

Ugh they did HORRIBLE TODAY. Pissed me the F OFF today. And I ALWAYS order from here all the time my son's FAVORITE place to eat. I ordered his food at 1153 and told me that in 20mins it will be ready. Left my house at 1120 to be at his school for lunch on time. The damn manager just shrugged his shoulders saying he messed up. That's what pissed me F off. HIS WHOLE ATTITUDE AND DEMEANOR he didn't give a shit he messed up!!! Said I messed up and if I wanted to wait to make my order said NO he has lunch in 3mins. Told him that's why you check the order before giving it to someone. AND Why I ordered ahead of time. And he did was shrug his shoulders. Best believe I'll talk to someone in charge for his mistake. NOT HAPPY AT ALL WALKED OFF SOOOO UPSET and my son asked me where are my pizza sticks mom I wanted that for lunch?? Said I know wasnt my fault was their fault not mine am sorry read more

Tony's Pizza has plenty of sitting, they have a large menu. The pizza is great and they make their own homemade ranch dressing. The hot wings are nice and thick. I recommend this restaurant because of the service and variety of food they have on third menu. Customer service is great. Waitress make sure your drinks are never empty. read more

This is one of my favorite go to locations for pizza and wings. Waiters are always polite and provide excellent service. It is always busy filled with customers. Last night we had our first male waiter and I was surprised because out of all the times I've been here it is always a female waitress! Randy was the gentleman's name and his service was off the chart impressive and was greatly appreciated! Great to see that they are bringing in male waiter(s). read more
