Friendly welcoming service. Great portions. Clean and spacious dining area. I had the Fire Chiefs breakfast with sausage patties. Eggs were cooked perfectly over easy, very large tender flavorful sausage patties and crispy seasoned country potatoes, and thick wheat toast. I was very satisfied and had left overs for later. Hubby had the chorizo and eggs with beans. All were delicious, and the flour tortillas pulled it all together so well. Glad we stopped in on our drive this morning. We will be back. Tony's is attractive, well kept and clean. The staff was dressed professionally in all black. We Stopped in here for breakfast about 10:00 am. We were one of two tables. Our server was pleasant and polite. We were seated but not offered drinks right away. Usually at breakfast coffee & beverages are brought while guests are perusing the menu. The service was a little slow for how empty the restaurant was. One guest had a biscuit with gravy. The biscuit was light and fluffy, the gravy was full of sausage and very flavorful. The breakfast burrito was large and packed with flavor. I had the chorizo & eggs with cottage cheese. They will make reasonable substitutions for you. Our last guest had a poached egg with toast. 2 pizzas and wedges for 74$ is ridiculous. Definitely not worth it. The pizza is mediocre 1 pizza and wedges were 50$ the prices are insane, no wonder they are never busy! Walking in and ordering was a bit of the normal. Inside looked nice with all the firefighters stuff but . There wasn't much to order and I just went with a medium pepperoni pizza. Ring me to $25 with two drinks. The wait time was probably around 25ish minutes and the pizza was mediocre for its price. Would say for the price you're better off going to domino's. I went here a few weeks ago and had horrible service from the staff. It's like they were bothered by us wanting to eat and they were only interested in a tip. They rarely checked on us. My family has been here a few times already and we really the pizza. We are somewhat bummed they only serve pizza (wanna try other dishes) but we were informed before seating us. We have no complaints with the service we receive and the pizza always comes out hot. So why 3 Stars? What I dont like at all is being charged a fee without any knowledge of a fee. The restaurant charges a C.C fee. This must be new cause I cant recall a CC fee in my last visit and I study my reciept before paying. There was no indication at our table or at the door entrance (I checked) the restaurant is charging a CC fee. The fee was a dollar and change but the restaurant still should of informed me or had a CC fee posted somewhere. It is California law that they post it. I went here to meet some friends for lunch who chose the location for food. I've never eaten at a Tony's but I knew there would be pizza available. I arrived to a full parking lot (it was prime lunch time after all) so I had to park on the street. We were a pretty large party but we preordered our food so it didnt take too long all things considered with how packed it was. We all got our drinks in a timely fashion too. We ordered potato wedges, wings, and 2 pizzas. Unfortunately the wings spilled on the table upon delivery so she had the cooks make us new ones for no charge, which was a good save. Our server was pretty nice. As far as the for the food, everything was decent. We got a combo pizza and a pepperoni. The combo had tons of toppings! The wings were good flavor but I prefer mine a little crisper, but not everyone is into that like me. Nothing really amazed me flavor wise but I wasnt disappointed either. My co workers and I had ordered before hand so we can arrive be seated and get reserved, NO that didn't happen instead they gave us our food to go. It had been awhile since going to Tony's for lunch and must say a lot of changes! Their prices has really increased! I ordered a taco salad with ranch dressing and my husband has a turkey melt. The sandwich was about half the size from the past. Then must say my salad was really great until got the bill, I was charged for the ranch dressing! Wouldnt even give them one star!! This used to be my favorite place to get pizza especially the chile verde pizza but today was AWFUL!! The pizza was dry and nothing like before or pictured, the other pizza we ordered without tomatoes and it was covered in tomatoes, they forgot our potato wedges, we had to get up and go to ask for drink refills, a box, and for our check.......the kids working were too busy drawing on each other and watching tik tok to acknowledge the ONLY table with customers at it!!! This is not a typical Tony's Pizza. They have a full menu. It's a hot spot if you live in the area. Pizza is good, the items I have had on the menu have been delicious, Chicken salad, Chorizo breakfast, Hot wings, Chicken fried steak, fish and chips, and the California chicken sandwich! Customer service varies each time I come here. There have been days were I get wonderful service and days I need to remind them I need a menu. Though recently I have seen several new faces. I have been a customer of this place for years. My family and I love the food at Tonys Pizza. but there is really a serious problem that is going to ruin this restaurant and it is the waiter named ABEL Every time I go to the restaurant and he serves me, he is very rude to me and my family. He always seems very confused and acts rude like he doesn't care about customer service. Today I placed an order over the phone and ordered an Enginer steak with eggs when I went to pick up the order and wanted to pay, he said he had no change. that I had to go get change. I decided to pay with the card. When I saw my food I noticed that the steak was completely burned. my plate was a mess. I called him to tell him if he could come back so they could place my order again and he very upset said my order was fine. I went back and showed it to him. He told me that they would do it again but that he had to wait about 35 minutes for it to be ready.. anyway. I feel disappointed in this place, I never back!! read more

This place is hit and miss. It has kind of a monopoly since it's located in a small town. The waitresses really need to pay attention to the customers and the restaurant is truly in need of a hostess or someone to check on the needs of the customers. If they get your order wrong, it's hard to let them know when the waitress immediately disappears for 20 minutes at a time. This is happened on more than one occasion. They still want to charge you for their mistake. I don't mind paying for they're overpriced menu as long as I get good service. We were going through Shafter today and had been wanting to try Tonys Firehouse and decided to stop for Breakfast. The service was a bit slow but they waitress was very nice. I think they were short staffed. I had two eggs over easy, hash browns, extra crispy bacon and biscuits and gravy. My husband had the Chicken Fried Steak. Both of our meals were cold which was odd, because we had waited so long.The Biscuit and Gravy were hot though. My husband's Chicken Fried Steak was cold and rubbery. The Biscuit and Gravy was the highlight of our meal. It was good the Biscuit was buttery but fell apart. A little pricey mine was $11.99 and my husband's was $13.99. Tony's Pizza has plenty of sitting, they have a large menu. The pizza is great and they make their own homemade ranch dressing. The hot wings are nice and thick. This is one of my favorite go to locations for pizza and wings. Waiters are always polite and provide excellent service. It is always busy filled with customers. Last night we had our first male waiter and I was surprised because out of all the times I've been here it is always a female waitress!
