They are now located on Power Rd in Pawtucket. The service is fast, the food is good, and the people are friendly.

Me and a couple others came here for dinner on a Sunday. There was a decent sized parking lot right…read morein front of the building for about 5-6 cars. Inside, there were about 10-12 tables. Since we were 5 people, we joined a couple tables to have more space. We went to the counter to grab a menu and decide on what we'd get. To have a diverse plate, we decided on pasta and meatballs, a large grilled chicken sandwich with everything + mayo, and a large pizza 3-way combo - onions and pepper, pepperoni, and sausage. They don't have 2 L bottles of soda, but they were nice enough to let us know we could go buy one across the street at the gas station (downside: they are not refrigerated). They also asked if we wanted everything at the same time or whenever they're done; It was a kind gesture. After about 20-30 minutes, the food came out. It was hot, fresh, and overall, everything was delicious. The pasta and meatballs came out in an aluminum container, about 5 in x 8 in. There was a good amount of red sauce and 4 big meatballs. The meatballs were really delicious, with the red sauce being average, and the pasta cooked a bit longer than al dente. I usually prefer white sauces, but red is the only option they have. They couldn't cut to the sandwich is 5 pieces since it would create a mess, so the best they could do is 4. The sandwich was toasted perfectly. It had a good amount of chicken. The toppings were fresh. Although it was a simple sandwich, I was very pleased with the taste. The pizza was good. My only complaint would be that I wish it were cooked a bit more for a crispier experience - in hindsight, I should've specified this when ordering. This also goes for the veggies where I wish they were grilled to have a slight char before putting it on the pizza or allowing them to get crispy. However, I think flavor wise, it was good. The sausage was really delicious and the cheese, although it didn't have a pull, it was the right amount and tasty. We paid about $50 for this food, which was good considering the 5 of us ate and left satisfied.

Unfortunately, I was very dissapointed in the large Margherita pie I ordered this time around. The dough was brittle, the cheese didn't taste all that fresh and the rest of the ingredients (sauce and spices) were just OK. It's always dissapointing when a restaurant lacks consistency and leaves you wondering what happened? Is it the cook at certain shifts, carelessness, different quality products? I don't know, but this place may be worth a try if they could output the product I had during my first visit. The pizza was dissapointing, but the wings were good. It tasted fresh, very crispy and hit the spot. The wings definitely saved the overall meal which is why I gave them a 3 overall, but the pizza was like a 2. The other stuff - I called in and was put on a long hold. The employee I spoke to was a apologetic about the wait and was overall pleasant. I've been inside this restaurant and it's quite small, so taking out may be a better option. -ODL Connect with me! IG & YouTube: @AOEAT

The pizza was absolutely delicious and everything we were hoping for in a deep dish-style pizza. The restaurant itself was super clean, the atmosphere was friendly, and it was really nice seeing people sitting outside enjoying drinks from the brewery. It even seemed like the owner might have been working there, and he was great. If you're in Rhode Island and looking for truly good pizza, I'd highly recommend trying this spot. Honestly, the next best options are either going to a higher-end restaurant or making the drive to New Haven, so thank you for opening this place! And I'd be remiss not to mention the chocolate chip cookie... absolutely delicious.

I struggle to start this review.... This is the best of the best, and in all honesty nothing else…read moreI've tried has come even close, in or outside of Rhode Island. What qualifies me to say that? Well I'm an Italian American with half my family from Providence, and the other half from north Jersey. I lived a short time In New Haven, and I've had the best of the best In Jersey, NYC, New Haven etc.... I know good pizza, and I had the misfortune of living in Los Angeles for 15 years and enduring their abhorrent, disgusting pizza options. A guy and his pie is special. Every slice has an equal amount of toppings. The vodka sauce doesn't just taste like cream as it often can, but maintains some insanely perfect balance between creaminess and acidity/tomato flavor. The red sauce has a strong tomato flavor and tastes perfectly fresh. I think what is most important to say is this. You know that saying "even crappy pizza is still kind of good"? Well, there may be some truth to that statement, but not when it comes to Detroit style pizza. Detroit style pizza done poorly, is honestly terrible. So the effort it takes to get it right is more with Detroit than any other style of pizza. A guy and his Pie has got this down to a science. There pizza is perfect, and although I love NY style pizza, Sicilian pizza, New Haven pizza etc, I keep finding myself getting the baby ready, hopping in the car with my Pregnant wife and our 11 month old daughter and taking a near 1 hour drive from Jamestown to Pawtucket. are there great pizza options that are much closer? Sure!! Yet everytime I want pizza lately the desire seems to be the same. I want that focaccia dough, I want those two perfect sauces, I want to see the smile on my Wife's face and hear the moans she masks as she bites into their Truffle pizza. It's just.... Always worth it. It's consistently perfect too, and I don't use that word lightly. My personal favorite is the "Plain Jane" but as I've recently became obsessed with Ricotta on pizza I've decided to add ricotta dollops as well as hot honey. This has become the unbeatable pizza to me. I typically see hot honey and ricotta with pepperoni, and I was curious to see how that topping selection would be without the pepperoni, and it did not disappoint. I told my Wife I'm ordering the same thing every single time lol. In conclusion: this is a unique pizza place that will not disappoint even if you think you don't like Detroit style pizza. I didn't know I liked this style of pizza until recently, and it's just a waste of time comparing past experiences with Detroit style with a guy and his pie. This is good ingredients, meets passionate staff who craft each pie with love, care and perfect distribution of ingredients. Honestly it makes me proud as a native Rhode Islander who's lived in some of the best food cities to have this gem here in our state. It's the best pizza I've ever had.
