Hot wings

My go to Pizza spot in the area. I'm shocked at some of the low reviews. I've been out of the area for 11 years but I get it a few times a year when I come home and used to always go here before leaving the area. The pizza is always phenomenal and the crust is the best. The wings are also a must have if you're going here. Make sure you ask for light sauce if you don't want a lot of sauce. I like the HOT and BBQ wings. The pizza isn't cheap. For a large, small and 30 wings it was close to $60. I know wings are expensive these days. I remember when they first opened up a large pie was only $10. We are used to the chain restaurants like papa johns, which are cheaper but don't taste nearly as good. My family loves coming here.

Ordered a large roast beef sub. small size compared to other establishments. Little bit pricey and no flavor.

I have to say the service was great, staff is friendly. Philly cheese steak sub was so-so, wife's turkey sub was a 6/10 only because I prefer more veggies than what she requested. I am giving this place a 1/5 due to a problem found within my wife's sub. I was halfway through the rest of my wife's sub and felt something SHARP stick into the roof of my mouth...WTF? Obviously there was something seriously wrong. I pulled out an inch and a half long wire bristle. Obviously the first mistake was it ending up in a persons food which is a no no . The next question is where did it come from? Did it perhaps come from the grill? The girl making my sub was wearing gloves. Perhaps she never changed her gloves? Too bad. I will probably be stopping by as I saved the added piece to my meal and will show it to the owners.

There was a long black hair in my pizza. The help could be a little friendlier and put their phones down and address the customer

People often underestimate the art of making a great sandwich--or "sangwich," as we say where I…read morelive. Crafting a perfect sandwich takes experience and talent, and as an expert consumer with over 50 years of experience as a sandwich eater, I can confidently say Jimmy John's nails it. Jimmy John's uses fresh ingredients and assembles them neatly. I've never received a sloppily made sandwich from them. The proportion of turkey to lettuce to cheese is spot on. I hate overstuffed sandwiches with too much turkey, and Jimmy John's gets it just right. No crappy "cold cut" turkey here--it's the good stuff. One thing I love is that they scoop out some of the bread from inside the sub. This cuts down on carbs, holds the insides together well, and eliminates the problem of sub bread being too thick. The smart phone app lets you pre-order and you can tweek your option with about 20 options or just take the default sandwich. I add cheese and its easy to do on the app, Fast and easy. I've bought scores of the original Jimmy Turkey subs, and each one was made in about 30 seconds. They aren't kidding when they claim to be freakishly fast--they ARE fast. Lately, I've been getting the Mini Jimmy, taking it home, and making my own salad to supplement my dinner. Delicious. It's a small sub, just what I want sometimes. My recent addiction is the turkey sandwich on sliced wheat bread instead of sub bread. Their bread is delicious, and this makes for a great sandwich. I love this place. Great food, easy parking, very clean, and employees who are actually friendly and efficient. Easy 5 stars.

I placed an online order for two sandwiches, chips, and a cookie at the New Hartford Jimmy John's…read more I received emails confirming the order was received and that my credit card was debited. When I arrived at the store to pick up my order, I provided my name. I was handed a bag, which was quickly snatched back with the explanation that it wasn't my order. I was then told that I hadn't placed the order. I showed my confirmation email. I was then told that I hadn't paid for the order. Again, I showed confirmation of my payment. In every case, I was accused of being the source of the problem. Jimmy John's either gave my order to another customer or lost it altogether. When I pointed this out to the manager on duty, Robert Blackshear, he cancelled my order, claiming I was disrespectful and rude. I never raised my voice, used profanity, or made threats. Apparently, asking questions he could not answer or noting Jimmy John's incompetence is rude in Mr. Blackshear's opinion. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have encountered. I will not reward Jimmy John's with another penny. I suggest others avoid the New Hartford Jimmy John's.

Everything tasted great and when they say jumbo they really mean it. I'm the kind of person who can eat an 18 inch pizza in one sitting and I barely finished it all. The fish was hot and crispy and they did a good job with the coleslaw - a lot of places make it too sweet but Fresco knows what they're doing. Their fries are addicting - honestly I would go back just for the fries. Only thing I would say is they should switch to wooden tables and chairs and keep salt, pepper, ketchup, and napkins at every table. The food came out hot but it got cold in just a few minutes sitting on a metal table. Maybe some baseboard heating in the dining area would help too - it was 20F today and you could definitely feel the chill!

The owner's father previously owned Zkiddith Fish, a place filled with so many wonderful memories and so much history before he retired. I was happy to see his son branch out and open Fresco's and continue the family's connection to seafood. A couple of years ago, Fresco's moved to a new location near Sangertown Square, in the former Dippin' Donuts building. Our past experiences had always been so good, and the food was delicious, so I was really looking forward to one more visit before our move west. Unfortunately, this visit didn't quite live up to my memories. Perhaps it was just an off night, but the fried fish was just okay, and the shrimp weren't quite what we had hoped for. They were a little overcooked, and a few still had small pieces of shell attached. Considering we paid well over $60 for a meal for two that we brought home to serve with our own sides, we had hoped for a little more, especially at that price point. I was disappointed, mainly because I have such fond memories of enjoying seafood from this family over the years. I know one visit doesn't necessarily reflect the usual experience, and I truly hope this was just an off night. Fresco's was a place I really wanted to revisit before leaving the area, and I'll always appreciate the memories and history this family has given us through the years.
