They have some classes that are good to attend so be on the lookout for their events. And they seem well versed on their products. And there are a few sample stations of wines, champagne, and cocktails. And the checkout lines move efficiently, but are quite tight in space. And I take this as a compliment, but they are stern about asking for ID. I noticed my checkout guy staring at me hard as I was unloading my cart onto the conveyor belt. I was still debating whether to purchase a few items in my cart, when he abruptly asked me for my ID. I nodded and proceeded to hand him an item I decided not to purchase. The person who answered the call confirmed that they had a number of the product available, so I went the following day. When I arrived, I was still concerned about the visit. I didn't know where the product was located, so I asked security for assistance. He walked me to the product. I got the product and went straight to the checkout counter. It was a quick and easy visit. I saw another item for a great price that I would have purchased, but I decided to keep the visit short and sweet. It's an all-in-one mini mart grocery, hot bar, sophisticated cheese department, pharmacy, gift and cards section, with elevated wine from local award-winning foreign and domestic wineries. On select afternoons I want to say Thursday and Friday you can sample beer and wine from note-worthy vendors that come from all over. They have a good variety of vegan and vegetarian food to offer as well. Last Thanksgiving, I was desperately looking to locate fresh thyme, it appeared the other grocery stores ran out. Greenbelt Co-Op to my surprise had abundant bundles of fresh herbs. I want to tell the staff and owners thank you for creating such a great place for locals to come pick up groceries at all times, where the staff is friendly, and the lines are short! It's in the most central part of the strip of stores and restaurants, so it's hard to miss. It's not my first choice for liquor stores, but if I'm in a hurry it's the closest one to home -- I can even walk there! The prices are definitely better at other places, and I've seen better selections, but it has the essentials. You can choose from beer, wine, cordials, spirits, all of that! I'm usually in and out, and honestly there isn't anything that keeps me browsing in there casually -- I'm always on a mission.
