Your response is riddled with LIES. You did not attempt to call me "several" times, you only attempted to call me ONE TIME over the course of several months. While you did explain that I might notice the repair on ONE part of the earrings, this did not account for the DAMAGE done to ANOTHER part of the earring that was not in the area that needed the repair. And I would have paid $55 dollars for a new set of earrings if: 1. I was not also trading in my own original pair of earrings. 2. I trusted the person making the sale. Why would I give more of my money to an untrustworthy "jewelry repair" person who has ZERO quality control over her repairs, fails to communicate with her clients and refuses to acknowledge her own mistakes? read more

BEWARE ! The customer service, specifically communication is unacceptable. I dropped an antique watch off on December 9 2023 to replace the glass face and repair. I was told that the watch would be ready prior to Christmas as I communicated that it would be a gift. The week of December 18th I continually called and left messages to arrange pickup. I did not receive a reply to missed calls, voicemails, or text messages. I finally get an answer when I called on December 22nd in which I am now told that the watch will not be ready and that the wrong glass piece was ordered. As I was extremely disappointed that I would not be presenting my wife with a restored antique watch for Christmas, what could I do? I expressed my frustration with the lack of communication...I figured if they knew they weren't going to have the watch ready just call and let me know. I was then told that the watch would be available for pickup before New Year's Eve. Again.....numerous calls made in my behalf, text messages, and voicemails go unanswered. Here I am, January 20th hoping someone will answer my call and again no answer so I leave yet another to voicemail. I am extremely disappointed in the lack of communication. I still don't have the watch, and not once has the shop reached out to communicate. read more

Update: I swear I did this weeks ago! The owner apologized for not being open, she had an emergency and didn't plan to be gone that long. It happens with small business and I get it. I returned the following day, and she fixed my ring for me in minutes. The shop closes for lunch, which they should probably mention. So now I'm sitting here waiting, the sign says they'll return at 1 and it's currently 1:05. Hopefully someone will show up soon so i can leave a review of their actual work. I was looking for someone that can engrave the back of a watch. After reading the reviews for this place I decided to come here. After speaking with Priscilla she quoted me $50-60. It was even written on the pick up receipt she gave me. I needed it by December 23. She said I would have it in time so I dropped it off on the 18th. On dec 20th, she calls me and tells me the price is now $80. She can either proceed with engraving or I can come back and pick up the watch. That was not the price I was quoted and frankly bad business if you want a returning customer. Needless to say, she will quote you a low price and then give you a higher price in the end and if you're in a time crunch, it's either take it or leave it. This place gives bad names to local mom and pop shops. I try to shop local and give business to small companies, but if I would've known I was going to be swindled, I would've gone somewhere else. Maybe if she would have said, "let me contact the person that engraves the watches and I can call you with a price." I would've gone with that. $80 dollars is not the problem. It's the lack of professionalism. As a business, if you quote someone a price you should honor that. This watch was for my husband and I needed it done. I paid the $80, but if there is at least one person that reads this and knows to take their business elsewhere, then great my job is done knowing that someone else won't get swindled. read more

I brought in my necklace for repair. I explained in detail and even drew a picture of what the necklace should look like. Even though it was a simple design. I was told two weeks. 1 month later I was called to pick the necklace up and it was completely wrong. It was sent out again and another month later it came back and was again soldered wrong. When the Jeweler picked it up the chain literally broke right in his hand. I had just paid them $500 for a new chain. Instead of giving me the new chain that I purchased they chopped and soldered pieces of chain between the stones. To make matters worse the business had been sold and even though it's the same building, same name on the building, I was told that I could not get the necklace repaired like I paid for it to be. He said he was not liable for the previous owners customers. As a customer this tells me a lot about the new owner and his customer care. read more

I had several watches for maintenance and as most of us who love watches are very particular where we take them and who handles them. For that same reason I usually do all of my maintenance, but I had just recently moved from Seattle and my watch kit was nowhere to be found (still missing ). So I decided to look up "watch repair" on my Yelp app and for some reason "Tony's jewelry" caught my eye. Driving up to the Norwalk Swaptmeet parking lot my mind started to self doubt my decision, but I was desperately impatient and wanted to wear my watches, or at least know they were ready to be worn. Walking into this Swaptmeet I was thrown off since I wasn't really sure what was going on and couldn't see any jewelries from my entrance. Like my mother always said "when in doubt go right," so like a good son that I'am I listened to her wise words. Few aisles ahead I see a jeweler and got excited, so as I'm approaching this corner jeweler I see in the corner of my eye another one right next to it! At this time I'm confused because I only have few seconds to decide where to go before they ask me "hi can I help you" and make it awkward by saying "I'm just browsing." Suddenly this lady caught my eye (space right next to it) as she's helping a customer out and she definitely look like she meant business!!!!! She was wearing a headband magnifier, I told my self she's the one. As I'm approaching her spot unbeknown to me another lady looking as fierce as her colleague wearing a single eye magnify glass head band!!! I was sold. They did a terrific job, they went above and beyond my expectations by fixing extra things without an up charge and shined those timepieces for me!!!
