Tony himself came out a day later, calling to let me know he was on the way, and took a look at everything, gave us a quote and fit us into his schedule quickly. Did I mention he was the least expensive too? Win. Win. Win. On the day of the actual hoist, his team was professional, friendly and helpful. Things couldn't have gone smoother, and Tony is such a nice guy. He was so thoughtful about the process, protecting our furniture and home, and accommodating our time. We scheduled moving services almost a month in advance. we were told Tony would call us to schedule time to walk through and give us an estimate. they called to schedule the walk through, called back and said "bad news, we are busy the day of your move!". this is 2 weeks before the move... so 2 weeks after we scheduled the service! Apparently, no one knew that the entire company would be busy moving someone long distance and not a single person or truck would be available for my mom, which is on a tuesday. I think it is poor practice and very unprofessional to go that long/that close to the scheduled move to cancel on someone. The only help they offered was to "possibly" be available to move us.... but its after we are scheduled to be out of the house. beware, they've ghosted previous customers (per other reviews), and they'll cancel your move and leave you stranded. read more

Hired them and they showed up. They said the item was too heavy and they left. They told me they would call back and they never did after I called them multiple times. I was quoted a price after describing the item to be moved. They said they needed special equipment after they saw it and then gave me a higher price. I agreed but they still never called back. read more

We used Tony to move us into our new home this past weekend. We had another company give us a quote and after meeting with Tony we were confident he was the one we wanted to hire. Tony was very detailed in describing what we needed for this move. Tony and Mike came the day before to help me pack away the items that were difficult i.e. The TV, paintings, lamps, etc. They also offered to do all of the packing, but we were fortunate to have friends help us with that, but definitely a nice option to have. They arrived early on moving day and had the job done quickly and efficiently. These guys work very well together. They took special care not to damage the furniture, walls, floors, etc at both houses. We have some very heavy, expensive pieces and not one was damaged. They were pleasant, funny and great with my kids. They even finished the job in less time than expected, saving us money! I don't typically write reviews and I'm very difficult to impress. Tony the Mover is professional, honest and efficient. He and his crew helped my fiance and I to move into our new rental home today. I used his service because he had the best communication, responding quickly to calls and emails, as well as the best quote. However, we got so much more than that! Tony was courteous, skillful and friendly, and he clearly loves his job. He and his crew were so efficient, it made me feel as though I was in a well-organized whirlwind of furniture. Tony came out to the house last week to take a look at it, and to measure the stairs. This was impressive research, and gave me confidence in his professionalism. He added on an extra mover to help to hoist furniture in through the second story porch, since the stairs were too narrow, but this did not greatly increase the earlier quote. He had a fair price for the work done. We agreed on a date and time for the move a week later, and he stuck to it, getting there exactly on time. A bit of backstory on the furniture: My uncle recently had to move into a care facility, and wanted me to have the furniture in his storage locker. It was horribly organized, and involved literally climbing over mountains of furniture. Tony the Mover had the whole place cleaned out and packed in less than an hour. When they arrived at the house, they handily lifted a sofa bed through the porch door, even though this meant removing (and later replacing) the railing. They did this quickly, and without damaging the porch. None of the furniture was damaged, and it included many lamps, glass-top tables, and curio cabinets. The house was left as good as new. They were there and gone so quickly, I saved a lot of money. They are the very definition of professional (as well as extremely strong!). I knew nothing about moving, and Tony the Mover worked with me to get it done right. (I had been worried about contractors taking advantage of my moving inexperience, but this was definitely not the case.) These guys give a good name to movers, and if I ever need to move something else, I will definitely call Tony! read more

Tony has moved me and my children 4 times. I have had him move us from Virginia to Michigan; Michigan to Florida, Virginia to Georgia and Michigan to Colorado. Each time, I have never hesitated to call and have him come move me or my things to some other person. His staff is courteous, friendly, respectful of my things. Damage has been so minimal I never filed a claim with them. As long as Tony is alive and well, he will be my mover til he moves me to the grave. Cannot give him any higher recommendations. We hired Tony Movers for move to Rotonda, Florida. We wanted to move at the end of September but a dedicated move was scheduled for September 9th so we accepted that. They agreed to deliver on Sept 15th which they did. Their price quoted over the phone increased prior to the move. We also hired them as they provided additional insurance for a price. My wife had high end furniture, that was one big reason we went with them. The cost increase came when I went to their office to show them pictures of the furniture. We were surprised that they did not come to view our furniture which they originally said they would. They picked up on the scheduled date and noticed damage to some of the furniture. We had plans to repair after this move. Upon seeing the damage we got a call notifying us that the insurance could not be given. We asked them to denote all the damage areas and give insurance on the rest. Their office person said no, was very rude and offered to have the furniture delivered back to us. Of course we could not do that so we were stuck. They delivered on the date promised, we had put painters tape down to show how everything was to be set up and instructed them on that. I found one new dining room chair threads pulled up and a piece on the design of the bedroom set broken. They stated the chair was totally protected and I figured they would say the other damage was caused from previous move. Our entertainment set is Hugh with 7 different pieces. Again painters tape was placed on the floor and they were instructed not to pass it. When they were done I was inspecting the bedroom suite and I signed the papers. Not until after they left did I notice that they went nearly a foot beyond the entertainment center limit. This will require me and my wife to disassemble, move all the pieces and reassemble. We are in our sixties and will take us an entire day. We can not move as a single piece. We believe this was done on purpose because of our outrage over the way their office person handled us regarding the insurance. Be aware that the price of your move will increase, mandate a home inspection of what u are moving, if u want additional insurance your furniture must be in perfect condition and u watch them when they deliver. Make sure u go out to the truck and see how chairs etc were packed in case they are damaged and they say not by them cause they cover everything. read more

Movers stole expensive, unopened bottles of alcohol from my kitchen during the move... They also ran out of wrap and covering,..they tried to load my delicate furniture without any protection. When I called the owner and complained, the 3 movers slammed the truck shut and took off to Home Depot to get more wrap. They were gone for 90 minutes and when returned, it was then traffic hour so the "on the clock time" was longer than it should have been. They were also very rude when I was asking them to arrange my belongings in storage in a specific way, suggesting that I "go sit in your car." Worst experience - ever. read more
