I absolutely love this place! I have combination and acne prone skin so naturally I try to calm the beasts with whatever I can find. I love all the products here with my heart and soul. The foam cleansers clear up my skin and leave me feeling fresh! Even my dad uses them too! The sheet masks they have are lovely and feel extremely comforting (they smell delightful!). The way they package their makeup is so adorable and the employees are kind but a little timid sometimes. :) I come here as often as I can and my dad loves to come with me. TONY MOLY! this place is seriously dangerous. every single time i go in i buy something. sheet masks start off at 1.75...sephora sells these for 3.00+ a single mask FYI. their skincare is amazing and their makeup is so good. if you are just starting off in trying their skincare i recommend their sheetmasks that are the real series. they are the most moisturizing sheet masks i have ever used, and i have tried alot. their hand cream (peach) is amazing and their aloe vera gel is awesome. as far as makeup their eyeshadows are pigmented and lip products are as well. i love their water lip tints! seriously those things don't budge. the service is always so nice and willing to help. read more

My mom and I were followed the whole time we were in the store. The sales associate was literally only two steps behind us as we wandered through the store. She was staring at us as if she expected us to steal at any moment. All we wanted was to browse in peace. It's not fun shopping when there's an employee standing in front of you (when looking at the makeup) or behind you (the rest of the store) looking like they are waiting for you to take a product and stuff it in your purse. It was my first time going to this store and I was determined to buy something. But after an extremely uncomfortable few minutes we left empty handed. I just discovered this place from a friend. I was suprised to find one in the area. This place is similar to The Faceshop. I tried a few products so far and they work pretty well. This place is a bit hidden so maybe hard to find. I cannot wait to go back to Tony Moly. read more

I love this place! The owners son is usually on the floor and is super sweet! The cosmetics here are way cheaper than they usually are in other stores (because the owner travels to Korea and buys the cosmetics and brings them back to sell.) the prices are more authentic to what they are in Korea and less like imported and taxed prices. I will continue to come here forever! read more

If I could give this place ZERO stars, I would. What a horrible experience I had this weekend. Let me start off by saying, I've been here several times and use many of their products daily, but after my experience this weekend, I will never be going back and have been spreading the word about my encounter ever since. I went into the store this past weekend on my way to a birthday party to get a gift for a friend. I brought my infant son in with me in his stroller and the woman working there immediately asked his name, etc. I told her and then she awkwardly followed me and touched him on the feet on occasion. I brushed it off...maybe she just didn't get that this was an invasion - no harm, no foul. Well, evidently this woman has no common sense or personal boundaries. As I was checking out (spent about $70), she starts speaking to the guy checking me out in Korean. Then the guy tells me that babies get hot in their car seats and I need to pick him up so he can cool off." Uhm, thanks guy I don't know who's obviously not a father...I don't need your parenting advice is what I'm thinking at first. Then, this woman starts touching my son and lifting up his arms and legs and reaching underneath him...and it occurs to me that she's looking to see if I've stashed any stolen products on my infant son!!!! I pulled his stroller closer to me, by this point she's convinced that I've not stolen anything and goes to the other side of the store. I finish up with paying and rush out of there, totally creeped out. I get to the car, load up my son, and make sure he's not hurt anywhere. Then, I called the store and reamed the guy out for 15 minutes about how that was completely unacceptable and tantamount to assault, harassment, and a violation of personal space, as well violating all sorts of laws as a business. If he had suspected me of shoplifting (after seeing that I was dressed nice to go to a party and had just spent $70), he should have ASKED for me to lift my son up and never should they have ever touched him, his stroller, or been in his personal space without my permission. He proceeds to tell me that the woman is his mother and she just came from Korea and didn't understand...and that he's a medical student and that she was checking my son because she was concerned he was too hot in his car seat. We walked straight from the car into the store and he was wearing shorts - he was not even warm. Ironically, my husband is a physician, and sir, when you read this and choose to tell that lie again, know that there are far more general and important things taught in medical school than car seats. It is not your job or your mother's job to "vent" my son, as you said. The very thought of him lying makes my blood boil. Speaking of lies, he also told me that just because the product has a date on it, it's not an expiration date, it's a manufacturer date...after reading the other reviews, I'm livid that this little punk lied to me again. If it truly was a manufacturer date, then half of the 10 products I bought were manufactured in the future. My husband and I looked my son over and have been looking for bruising, etc. If there is even a hint of a bruise that appears on his chest, back, or legs from her jerking him around, I will take photos and document it and we will be pressing criminal charges. That treatment was completely unacceptable and unwarranted. Again, I'm not sure if these two are just dim and clueless or if they were not trained properly. You do not ever touch someone else's child without their permission and if you truly suspect a paying customer of trying to smuggle something on their child, you politely say "I know this is probably not the case with you, but we've had issues with theft in the past and if you don't mind lifting your son out of his car seat, so we can check. It's store policy." I can't imagine that anyone who is not guilty would choose not to oblige. And if they don't and you really feel like they're stealing cheap makeup from you, then you call the authorities. You have no right to touch anyone, their belongings or their child. read more

Tony Moly has really cute and good quality products! They make great gifts for friends since the packaging is usually super cute. Their face masks are reeeeally awesome, so I like to use them when I have in-home "spa days". I wish I lived closer, but I'm happy we at least have a store front in dfw area. Ok so I don't I don't write reviews alot, but I thought this should be shared. Recently I've began to use Korean skincare and I love it. Particularly the Tony Moly line and happily I found out there is a Tony Moly store in Carrollton Tx on Old Denton Tap rd. I love this place and the staff who run it are very nice and helpful. They help me turn my skin around in a couple weeks. So I wanted to give a shout out to them and let any beauty products addicts like myself know they need to go there for some of the best skincare and cosmetics I've ever used. Also it's a lot cheaper to buy from them other then places like ulta and Sephora, because for some reason they charge a lot! More then this place or amazon, and more importantly they have the full lines of the products while ulta or sephora only carry a few and the staff knows more about the products. Also if your wanting to help out small businesses hit them up. I love their snail line ( yes I said snail and it works) and goat milk line, and I have never had a mascara that truly stays lush all day like theirs. This is by far my favorite place to purchase tony moly products. I have been here several times and have had exceptional service each time. Keep in mind it is customary for the employee to follow a customer and help them through their journey in the store in Asian cultures so don't be offended if they do. If it makes you uncomfortable all you have to do speak up and let them know... Just don't act a fool and then get angry when no one is helping you. The reason they do it is because everything is in a different language. It may have some stuff in English but sometimes it's difficult to understand what you're looking at. The first two times I was helped by a gentleman and he was such a pleasure to shop with. He tried to steer me towards cosmetics and beauty products that work for my skin concern and age group. The last time I was helped by a younger gal who I had a fantastic time with. It fell like I was shopping with one of my girlfriends and she was very honest and still tried to help others when they came in. If you get anxiety from there being too many products and not knowing what's going on with them I would suggest doing some homework first online and investigating what products you are looking for first. That way you don't feel bombarded when you are browsing the store. read more

I went here with two of my aunts to pick up some quick skincare items before we went on vacation. There was only one older woman working (side note: this woman had skin better than mine and I'm in my early 20s), and she was so kind and helpful! My aunts are older (50s) and didn't have any knowledge of Tony Moly products. The woman working hand-picked samples for their skin type, and even gave them a FULL SIZE sleeping pack for no charge! She also gave me samples based on the things I'd purchased, and I ended up loving them! I've never experienced such generosity at a cosmetics/skincare store. Or really any store for that matter. I live in Austin, but I've admittedly made trips to Carrollton just to stop at the skincare shops in this area. In my opinion, Tony Moly has the best customer service of the whole shopping center and I feel comfortable asking questions without having to worry that they're just trying to sell me products. Also, their prices are extremely fair compared to buying online or at the few places in Texas that sell Asian beauty products. If you're in the area (or you're obsessed with skincare and down for a road trip) definitely check out this gem of a shopping center but stop at Tony Moly first! read more
