Tony Luke's cheesesteaks are amazing! A bit pricey but definitely worth it. The meat is well seasoned and they put the perfect amount of cheese. The bread is also really good and soft. Definitely a good meal to have before hitting the bars for some drinks.

Had a Roasted Pork Hoagie from TLs a while back and it was the best....I mean I was grining ear to ear with that thing........so When we were back in town we had to get another...sorry to say...it was not the same experience....Sad faces at the counter and an underwhelming sandwhich....hoping it was just a bad day....Roll was not the same...Pork not as juicy or tastful....

3 stars for service. The cheesesteak had very little meat but the bread and whiz tasted alright. Took about 5 minutes to make and 2 minutes to eat it

Waited almost 5 minutes to take my order when no one was there and then Who pays almost $2.00 for pickles and then the lack of meat for $15 I don't care if this is ac stop playing

As far as Philadelphia cuisine goes, I am a big cheesesteak fan, but I'm a bigger fan of the roast pork sandwich with broccoli rabe. And Tony Luke's does it right. This Tony Luke's is located in the Marketplace (boardwalk level) at the Tropicana. There is outdoor seating facing the boardwalk.

    The myth. The legend.

I don't know why I get sucked into the hype and yet I do somehow. And don't write me back saying this place isn't the same as the real deal Tony Luke's. Regardless of location, its thin beef on a big hero roll. Meh. I met a couple from Philly, we dined together on the auto train. We started talking about Philly cheese steaks and how you have to order saying "Whiz" or "No Whizz". I'm from New York, Whizz? What the F are you talking about?! However, they explained the Italian Steak sammy with Broccoli Rabe and melted Provolone?? Now you're talking about Brotherly Love! Located behind the Tropicana Hotel on the boardwalk is Tony Luke's. There are outside tables to enjoy your "sangwich". Ordering is a snap, walk up to the counter and watch them assemble your cheesesteak. My cheesesteak is complete and its too cold to sit outside. The bar area has tables where you can eat as well as people watch. The broccoli rabe along with the provolone work well together. The actual cheesesteak meat? Its thin and dried out too quickly. It was a sandwich that I had to work thru to finish, it wasn't enjoyable. I know, the original Tony Luke's would never dry out the meat! Yeah.. even if it was cooked perfectly, this is a three ingredient sandwich! I don't care if you were on Daryl's House making this meal, I wasn't impressed. So I came, I saw and I conquered a Tony Luke's Italian Cheese steak. And what type of Italians invented this concoction?? The same Italians eating maple shoo fly pies?! I'm done with this review.

The Chicken parm on steroids is what they called it and let me tell you it was amazing. I absolutely loved the potato's on top and the sauce was outstanding. You get 2 nice sized pieces of chicken definitely fills you up. The bolognese sauce was incredible. Lots of meat and lots of pasta. Very garlicky which I love. Got it with angel hair pasta which was a great choice as well. The cappuccino and biscotti was amazing as well. Everything just tasted so fresh. Service was awesome, they were on point. Food came out fast and again tested great. It's a BYOB so dont forget to bring a bottle of wine. It's hard to get a reservation so if you're lucky to get one you will enjoy it.

No walk ins, BYOB, reservations only, and is in a house. The upstairs is the main house and the basement is the speakeasy part. I for sure would like to come back and try to get the basement. They also have the porch closed in enough to sit outside and they have heaters. They are knows for their ricotta cheesecake served warm but I thought it was just on. It was good but I like a cold cheesecake so I wouldn't get it warm.

A big bar that wraps around pretty much the whole first level, tons of bars stools. Drinks are cheap, $5 for a beer in AC is almost unheard in these times. The food was great, got the clams casino to start and it was good, 7.5/10. I then ordered the Chicken parm for dinner, which comes with a family sized salad for the table. The chicken was really good very flavorful and super tender, perfect amount of cheese and sauce on it as well. Pasta was cooked perfect and was very good 10/10. My wife had got the mussels with pasta and that was out of this world. First off the amount of mussels you get is crazy they give you so much. They were cooked great, cleaned really well also. Service was good from the bar as well as when i sat down. Food came out fast and tastes great. They don't rush you they space out the appetizer and your meal very well so it gives you time to enjoy it and not eat your dinner right after you finish the appetizer. Last thing is the prices for all of this is unmatched great prices and good food definitely something to try out.

I had salmon carpaccio that was outstanding and an artisan pasta dish which was perfectly prepared. My fiancé had beef carpaccio and seared tuna, he said they were delicious, as well. We were staying at Ocean and I couldn't get a reservation at a restaurant there. I was a little nervous about picking a place off a web search, because it was my fiance's birthday, but I am so happy we did! We are really particular about food and service...and it was all top-notch. Added to this, we were two of the very last people in the restaurant and wanted to bring pizza back to the hotel knowing there'd be a late night of gambling. They were already cleaning up the pizza oven area and graciously said it was not a problem for us to order one to go. In reading a review just posted two days ago, I'm astounded at the experience because from start to finish everything was exceptional. We each had a cocktail, some wine, and shared a dessert. So, we probably spent more per person but that was by choice as we thought their prices were very reasonable. Such a wonderful experience and we will definitely be back!

After a couple of well made drinks, a martini and a manhattan, we had to start with a small individual pizza made in the aforementioned stone oven for our appetizer. We went with the Fra Diavolo made with tomatoes, long hots and parmigiano reggiano and it was delicious and had a flavor you could only get in that special oven. Even watched it being made. For our a mains I went with the special Veal Chop Parmigiana, pounded thin, fried to perfection and covered in a wonderful Italian sauce and melted cheese, this was outrageously good. My wife went with the Tagliatelle Bolognese made with homemade pasta, veal, pork and beef ragu. Although the portion was a little small it was very delicious nonetheless. For dessert we wrapped up with their popular Tiramisu made with mascarpone mousse, ladyfinger, espresso coffee and chocolate shavings, it was amazing and the perfect ending to a perfect meal. This was such a great dining experience, the food the atmosphere and service were all spot on and we will be coming here again soon.
