So I was looking for options to determine the best Cheesesteak in Atlantic City. Hands-down, this place did not disappoint. I had a chance to interact with an amazing staff. And after sharing that it was my first time at the restaurant they went out of their way to make sure that it was a good experience. I tried the cheesesteak and the cheese fries. Both were delicious. This was the temporary location until they open their new location, mainly a takeout place. But I decided to stay and eat there, and the staff was really attentive and excited to see what I thought about their food. So happy to have discovered this little hole in the wall, unassuming but terrific cheesesteak joint. The guys inside were very nice, chatty and friendly. Easy to order upon arrival and they bagged the cheesesteak and our crinkle fries with napkins and ketchup, which I requested. We weren't able to open up the food until about 45 minutes later, but the food was still warm and toe-clenchingly good. They use Averso's seeded roll, which just smacks. The cheese to meat ratio was spot on and seasoned exactly as needed. The roll itself was filled to the brim with meat, so one cheesesteak split between two was just perfect. The cheese steaks are outstanding!!!! I got the cooper cheese whiz, fried onions, and mushrooms. The wife got a cheese steak with provolone and mayo. My cheese steak was top tier!!!! I love cheesesteaks. Spent some years in Philly. For a time I refused to eat one anywhere else. I'm older now, and try to be more flexible. Ive been coming to AC since 1992. Always hit White House when I'm here. Today I went to Cuzzies. Hole in the wall. Read they had good steaks. To be honest, they have GREAT steaks. Better steaks than White House by far. I'm a Philly girl born into a family that founded and owned a well known cheesesteak shop, and I've had many cheesesteaks from other places so I had to see what this place was all about. To preface, I do not like Amoroso rolls and much rather have a crusty seeded roll, so I chose this place based on the fact that they had seeded rolls and the videos I've seen of their steaks looked delicious.. I tried it for the first time last night and I'll start with ordering. I ordered online and the first thing that struck me was that they don't have a whole lot of options. You can customize your sandwich but only with a few ingredients. I like marinara on my steak and that's not an option. I ordered a Cuzzie and customized it to be a cheesesteak hoagie with cherry peppers, I also ordered another Cuzzie with long hots, and cheese fries. The cheesesteak hoagie was very good - the onions, IMO, were cut too thick. The steak was chopped but not overly so. There were a few large pieces of hard gristle but with ribeye, gristle is to be expected. The sandwich with long hots was good, too. The cheese fries were VERY salty. The fries without the cheese were seasoned well but I think with the addition of cheese it was way too much, we didn't eat them, but would absolutely order regular fries from here because they were good! The food was ready very quickly and the food was still warm and not soggy when we ate 20 minutes later. Overall, we will definitely eat here again. The rolls were spectacular!! read more

Well, well, well! I must say, and this isn't said with hyperbole, Cuzzies may have the best cheesesteak I ever had. The guys working were great and very friendly. My order took 10 minutes max on a Saturday night! I got the Bada Bing and it was amazing. Bread can make or break a sandwich and there sesame seed roll was fresh and all that a roll should be. The garlic aioli was a first for me on a cheesesteak and it did not disappoint. It's probably what took this sandwich to another level. Also got Da Bird but done like the Bada Bing but with the Cooper sharp cheese sauce. Again, amazing! I don't even like chicken cheesesteaks but I'll definetly be trying that one again. If I had any critiques it would be for you guys to get foil to wrap the sandwiches. I had to peel the paper off mine because it was stuck to the provolone cheese. Also, get better ketchup packs. Hienz or Hunts would have been far better than what you have. Cost a lil more but well worth it to your customers. Neither of these take away from the 5 stars I give you guys!
