Very nice place. Friendly service. Food portions are large. We ate on the 2nd floor because the 1st floor was closed.

Got takeout a few weeks back and was not disappointed! Ordered the Chicken Lo Mein and only complaint is I could have used more meat. But the ratio of veggies to noodles was on point - generous portion too for the price we paid. Would definitely order again, especially in a pinch, because the service was QUICK, takeout was ready like 15 min after we ordered.

I have never left here disappointed or hungry. The service as usual was quick and courteous. The food was well prepared and properly seasoned. The atmosphere is old school Chinese.

A Chinatown staple. Classic american-chinese spot. Walls lined with famous people shaking hands with the owner. Most or all entrees are great, a personal standout favorite is the Honey Walnut Shrimp. Very happy this place survived covid and hope it continues to thrive while business is down in Chinatown.

Tony Cheng's is some great Chinese food, they have plenty of options. My favorites are their lo mein or fried rice, I also like the steak with black pepper sauce. The staff is also kind and polite. I like eating here when my family comes to town everyone can share and it's priced well.

Mongolian BBQ closed

Went here for the Mongolian BBQ but that side of the business apparently closed 5 years ago. I'm sad because I'd been going there since I was a little kid! Upstairs food has always been average and that's the only thing they are still offering.

The food was good. The portions were great. However the service and the atmosphere were not . The time we saw said they closed at 11:00. They didn't inform us their closing time either, especially with the time we arrived. We were watched the entire time and rushed to pay our bill. We asked for Togo boxes and our waiter told us to pay first and then we can get them. As good as the food was I wouldn't recommend dinning in. For that I give this facility 3 stars and that simply because of the food.

Great food and outstanding service. Amazing history, the best Chinese food in DC. I love the sesame chicken and generous portions.

Just like all other authentic Chinese restaurants, bad service good food. Food was outstanding; service was the worst ever.

Overall it's not a bad spot, but it just didn't exceed where I hoped it would, and while the food didn't really shine, neither did the service. The space is really awesome, and the menu gives you a lot of hope. But fewer hits than expected. The Crab Wontons were out, the jeau lanh (sp?) was not bad, but not that great, the char siu pork was my favorite, but the fried rice and noodles were not cooked at a high enough temperature to taste remotely authentic. Cocktail list looked awesome, cocktails were all just fine, we had 4 of them. Best dish was the monkey bread for dessert! Probably won't be back, but not a horrible spot.

If a place delivers strong execution, quality flavors, and exceeds expectations for what it is trying to be, that earns a top rating from me. Chili Wok did exactly that. We recently visited Alexandria and had an excellent meal from start to finish. Everything we ordered was flavorful, well prepared, and arrived tasting fresh and intentional. The soup dumplings were a standout. The wrappers held together nicely, the filling was savory and juicy, and each bite had that satisfying burst of broth you hope for when ordering them. The fried rice was also very well done. It had great wok flavor, proper texture, and did not feel greasy or heavy, which is where many places miss the mark. The sweet and sour ribs were another highlight. They had a great balance of sweetness and tang, with tender meat and enough texture to keep them interesting. A dish that can sometimes feel one note was handled really well here. Beyond the food, the overall experience was strong. When every dish lands and nothing disappoints, that says a lot about the consistency of the kitchen. Overall, Chili Wok delivered exactly what I hope for in this category: flavorful food, solid technique, and an enjoyable dining experience. Easy 5 stars, and I would gladly return.

I ordered the Singapore noodles, which were packed with flavor and loaded with beef, chicken, and shrimp. The portion was so big that it honestly could be split between two people. I barely put a dent in it while I was there and ended up taking most of it home and eating off it for a while afterward. But the real showstopper is the bottomless drinks. For $18, you get bottomless Mai Tais, lemon drops, and mimosas, and the best part is they do it all day, not just during brunch hours. You can pull up at 7 p.m., get dinner, and still do bottomless drinks, which is something you don't see very often. Between the massive portions, the flavor, and the all-day bottomless option, Han Palace is an easy five out of five for me. If you're in DC and haven't been here yet, this is a must-go spot.
