Blake, Neil and Cody were the three man crew that I worked with and could not have been more thoughtful and considerate with every aspect of my move. They gave progress updates throughout the day, and added helpful insights on many things like, waiting 30 minutes to plug in the outdoor fridge and that certain furniture pieces had metal feet and to be careful with the hardwood floors. They were the epitome of professionalism as well as really nice guys to work with all day. Neil and Cody were here today to help me unload my POD - not too far into the process they discovered that mice had been living in the POD for the last nine months. My brand new chair and sofa were both ruined. The guys were so nice - they really empathized with my situation, gave me useful tips to clean everything and went out of their way to try and make me feel better. Carefully identifying anything that might have been compromised and loaded it into my garage. They even battled a live mouse that came out of the sofa. They are my heroes! Thanks so much. They get paid / bill by the hour so BEWARE!! I used them twice, shame on me. First time, December 2019; It took three guys 8 hours to move me from a two BR / two car garage (with everything boxed and furniture disassembled!!) 40 miles. Truth be told, it was a two story house into a second story apartment and one car garage, but, that's all the grace I'll give them. Second time, December 2020; This time only two guys to load ONLY a 26' u-haul truck as we were moving out of state. Again, all furniture disassembled and 99% of our stuff completely boxed up. Again, second floor apartment and one car garage into the truck. This time it took them 6.5 hours. When I got to my final destination, I asked the movers there how long they thought it would take them to load the truck with what they just unloaded using two guys and they said anywhere from 3-4 hours. So WHY did it take Caccamise's guys 6.5 hours????? Maybe it was the guys taking multiple smoke breaks? Maybe it was the guys walking at a snail's pace? Maybe it was that the hourly billing had them "taking their time?" I don't know but I feel like they took advantage of me. I called to voice my concern and left a voicemail but almost one full week later and no one has had the courtesy to call me back - so I'm taking to Yelp. read more

This company did an incredible job. From the very start, the woman who took my call was very knowledgeable. I had a ton of questions about logistics, and she answered all of them patiently. She clearly has a ton of experience. On the actual move day, the two gentlemen who carried out the move were extremely thoughtful. I hadn't given a great deal of thought to the layout of my furniture at the my place, and they even gave pointers and moved around my (HEAVY) couch so I could see what looked best. Above and beyond! They were ultimate professionals, and I know that when I move in a few years, I will definitely be using this company again. Caccamise Moving damaged my property while in the process of moving my neighbor's belongings. There is a private drive between the two houses. When Caccamise Moving was about to drive their truck past my house after loading my neighbor's belongings, I asked the truck driver to be careful not to drive on my lawn because I have an in-ground sprinkler system. I went on to explain that if they damaged my sprinkler system, or any other property of mine, Caccamise Moving would have to take care of it. Well, the driver did the best he could, but he did drive on my lawn and damaged my sprinkler system. I have photographs to substantiate this story. For the past two weeks, my wife, our neighbors, and I have been trying to get Caccamise Moving to take care of the damage they caused. They have been elusive and non-responsive during that time. Finally, my wife spoke with a representative of Caccamise Moving today. The representative, who did not identify herself, was rude and indignant when talking to my wife. The representative insisted that Caccamise Moving would not take responsibility for the damage they caused because "they parked their truck where they were told". However, where they parked their truck has nothing to do with the damage they caused while driving on my property. I am both surprised by and disappointed in Caccamise Moving for refusing to do the right thing and take responsibility for the damage they caused. read more

I gave 4 stars as they were late and we took apart one of the beds and our dresser mirror to save time, and when it came time to put the bed back together and the mirror back on they said it was against policy to do that because we took it apart. I wish someone would of explained that to me in the beginning as I would of left it alone. In other words, they were great! I had some heavy furniture that could not get through the door and up and around the railing and they did a great job! I would recommend them, but keep in mind if you take it apart yourself, you have to put it back together yourself! My profile says I am in SanFrancisco Calif, no this was in Geneseo NY. Oh and leave a tip even though they are expensive, as the movers work hard. read more

Highly recommend this company. They were prompt, efficient, courteous, and super helpful (even gave some furniture arrangement tips). We are all older adults moving my sister and had ton of heavy boxes and furniture that had to go down long flight of stairs. We literally could not have done it without them. These guys did a pretty good job. They were efficient and moved all our stuff without damage. Their truck broke down (lights wouldn't work) and we had to sit on the side of the road for about 30 minutes though. I was hoping to be credited for that time but I wasn't so I was a little disappointed by that. They also lost the first check I gave them so I had to submit a stop payment for it. Their office did cover the bank fee and they were patient while waiting for me to cut them a new check. If I were to move again...these are the guys I would call. read more

I have used this company several times; I would not consider anyone else. I have hired them to move large households (gathering items from 3 different locations) to small apartment moves. They take things apart and put them back together, set things up exactly where and how you want them; they are efficient, professional, and personable. They movers did a poor job of packing the truck and as a result two pieces of furniture were badly damaged. The owner raged at me on the phone--completely inappropriate. They took the furniture to be repaired. It has been five weeks and and they have not been returning my calls. I contacted the furniture repair company directly and they said the have left multiple messages with the movers too as they cannot source the materials for the repair. They are as frustrated as I am. My next step is to call my attorney. read more
