So glad I took my son here! Back story, I started having my son go to various kid salons and barber salons for a few years now. So by now, he is able to compare from past experiences and tell me if he enjoyed getting his haircut done or not. We haven't really found a barber he was completely satisfied with, until now! We needed to cut my son's hair in short notice and I was pleased to see that this barber shop allowed walk-ins bcuz so many around only do by appointments. When we walked-in, we didn't have to wait long for his turn. I showed Joffer a picture of how my son wanted his haircut to look and Joffer mentioned not to make the sides too faded/bald, which I really appreciated bcuz I really didn't want it too short for him. My son was done in no time and he even was offered a lollipop in the end! But what really made the icing on the cake was what my son told me after his haircut - As he was smiling from ear to ear, I asked him how was it and he told me that he (Joffer) was by far his favorite barber, not because he was Filipino (like us hehe) but because he was nice to him and always blow dried his hair frequently throughout his haircut to prevent him from getting itchy! It was the small details that meant a lot to him! My husband and I were happy and satisfied with his haircut also! I'm so glad we found this salon in our neighborhood! Do not come here if you are a walk-in. I sat and waited for two hours for someone to cut my hair. As well as the barbers openly saying they don't like walk ins and will "avoid them like the plague" while I was sitting right there. What I got was a 5 minute haircut while everyone else was taking their time with their clients. It's not the haircut or experience I was expecting whatsoever and will now have to go somewhere else to try and salvage what hair I have left. read more

this has been a overdue Yelp review. i'm all for supporting our small, local-owned businesses and i really wanted to like my experience here (don't get me wrong it was a good haircut!), but i felt a little uncomfortable here. maybe i'm just not the textbook barber shop patron type. i personally didn't vibe with the heavy masculine vibes. this was my first haircut during COVID times, and having been fully vaccinated, i decided to venture out and get a professional cut. i know some folks aren't all about the mask thing, but hey! we're in a pandemic! i walked in and no one was wearing a mask which made me a little uncomfy--to each their own, but what really threw me off, was the fact that i was told that "i can remove that if you want." respectfully, if i'm wearing a mask, i'd rather keep it on??? in any case, there are definitely are folks who frequent here. it just wasn't for me. read more

Great barbershop! Tony not only gave my wife and I great cuts he was very personable. We were hesitant to go into the shop because of experiences we've had here being females just wanting to get a great cut by a barber but Tony was so welcoming made us both comfortable from the moment he spoke. Rona Kim is a great barber. He went out of his way to accommodate me last minute. He didn't rush and made my haircut look pretty tight. He cuts with precision and is pretty quick. Just got a perfect haircut from Joffer at Tonsorium. It was my first time there. I told him what I was looking for and he gave me exactly that, even though it's kind of a mix of a couple different "standard" haircut. Great attention to detail too, and finished it up real clean with a straight razor. I moved to the area a few months ago and hadn't found my new go-to barber yet, but I definitely have now. I started going to the shop at the beginning of September and I haven't stopped going since. Someone hooked me up with Joffer, the owner, and I've enjoyed every cut. He makes sure you feel relaxed, comfortable, and is very detail oriented. He runs you thru what he is doing, and always makes sure to stop and let the client see what the cut is looking like. The place in general is clean and all the staff sanitize their work stations and give you a fresh apron. Everyone working there truly enjoys cutting hair and interacting with their clients. If you want a fresh fade, haircut, or beard trim/line-up, I would recommend checking out Tonsorium Studio. Joffer is my barber, but it is clear from sitting in the chair and watching the other barbers that they are very good at their craft. Again, come check this shop out and book with anyone. read more

This is a great barbershop located in Beaverton. I found this place by chance after having a no call no show barber flake on me at another barbershop. I needed a haircut for a wedding and luck had it that this place took walk-in appointments. This shop has a very friendly atmosphere. Rona Kim is a dope barber who takes his time to give you the cut you want.
