Today (2026-09-03) is the first time in many years that I booked a haircut with what I would consider a "professional" barber shop. Previously, for some years, I have been going to Great Clips. Sadly, the results were not always great, if you know what I mean. I recently grew a full beard, too, so I also needed a beard trim, for sure. Tired of the Great Clips crap-shoot, I asked my AI, Claude, for a list of barbers that do both hair and beard trimming in Beaverton and he came up with a short list that included DITA Barbers, only 14 minutes from our house. Perfect! So I booked an appointment at DITA with a barber named, Caleb! There is no parking lot to speak of, but at 10am I had no trouble finding street parking across from DITA. I arrived somewhat early, so a nice young lady named, Destiny, invited me to sit and wait for Caleb, who arrived right on time. The atmosphere of DITA Beaverton was welcoming, nicely chill and the shop is very clean and professional. It felt good. I told Caleb the length I wanted my hair and that I would leave my beard trimming and shaping up to him, so he went to work on me. Such a great experience! Caleb was absolutely meticulous in the care he took cutting my hair. I was impressed. He preceded shaping and trimming my beard with a hot towel to soften things up and also did a razor trim, which felt wonderful and was greatly appreciated! And some facial moisturizer, too! I am very happy to be wearing the results of his efforts! Caleb is everything you'd want in a barber - professional, very friendly and a good conversationalist, so the banter we exchanged was pleasant and interesting, a pleasant change from the Great Clips experience. Thank you, Caleb, and thank you DITA Barbers, I will definitely be back! read more

I scheduled an appointment on July 8 for my wedding day, July 19, with Blare. At 12:30:00 p.m. on the day of my appointment, the shop called and told me Blare could not make it because of a doctor's appointment. Doctor appointment on Sunday at 3 1/2 hours before my appointment. They offered another barber who could see me 15-20 minutes after my original appointment time. Since it was my wedding day and I had no realistic chance of finding another barber at the last minute, I had no choice but to accept. I was assured that the replacement barber was experienced, but the service I received did not reflect the level of experience I had been promised. He was late for my appointment , struggled with both the haircut and the straight-razor shave, and took approximately 20 minutes just to trim my beard in preparation for the shave. After about 30 more minutes of unsuccessful attempts with the razor, I finally asked him to finish with an electric machine. I was supposed to leave the shop by 2:00 p.m. so I could arrive on time for my wedding photography appointment. Because the replacement barber was late and the services took much longer than expected, I was late for my wedding pictures. This added unnecessary stress to an already very important day. Unfortunately, I also received one of the worst haircuts I have ever had--on my wedding day. I will not name the replacement barber because I believe the shop is responsible for assigning someone who was not properly prepared to provide the services I had booked. I chose this business because of its strong online reviews, but my experience was extremely disappointing. Canceling my selected barber on the morning of such an important appointment, providing a late replacement, and assuring me that he was experienced when the service suggested otherwise was unacceptable. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this business or consider it reliable. read more

Dope environment, super chill & friendly vibes, excellent customer service and great location in the heart of downtown Beaverton. My husband gets his haircut on a weekly basis and I actually enjoying tagging along, so that says a lot. :) Highly recommend checking this place out and then exploring all the good eats nearby. read more

tl;dr 11/10 recommend DITA and Eric. he's a pro (everyone there seems to be) + the vibes are so chill. one of the most (unexpectedly) challenging parts of relocating is looking in the mirror and realizing it's time for a haircut. but where?? hair is an art, and having gone here for a little bit (it's all about the consistency!), i can honestly say that Eric knows how to use the proverbial paintbrush: patient (even during those rare times he's running behind schedule), knowledgeable and a great conversationalist. if i bring a reference photo along, i really appreciate how Eric immediately recognizes the nuances of my unique asian hair and makes suggestions to tweak the reference photo to fit me better. bonus points for being extremely well-versed in hair science (so cool! like, did you know hair has a life cycle that varies across individual strands???) thank you Eric! finally, the environment is worth noting: so many barber places in particular come across as stodgy masculine vibes (idk how to describe it, but you know), but DITA is very chill, welcoming, modern and super clean. they use dysons, and i'm honestly so tempted to get one now too. read more

Indigo Smith broke client trust by sharing things I said during a haircut with people outside the shop, and it reached my workplace. What I shared wasn't offensive or personal gossip, yet it was still repeated. The haircut itself was fine, but a barber's job is also about professionalism and confidentiality, and that was missing here. Premium haircut. Vibe is unprofessional read more

Indigo was awesome! I really appreciated her care and attention; she was very friendly and personable. She checked in at several points throughout the haircut to make sure it was being done the way I wanted, and her and her coworkers were nice to talk to. I will be back :) read more

Use to love coming here because of past barbers. Went with STEPHEN yesterday for a simple scissor clean up and it was so shit. First of all he got done with the haircut in like 15 minutes which is way too fast and you could tell he didn't care and wanted to collect his money real quick. No love for the game in this barbershop it seems like anymore. Bring back the OG's read more

They are great here! Everyone is super nice and chill. The place is clean and the haircut usually looks pretty good! no complaints. Parking is easy and they take their time with your hair. read more

Space is clean, location is nice. Been going here for a few years, with cuts being pretty consistent between two stylists. Would generally give it 4 stars, but recently had to go with someone else in a pinch. Came in 5 mins early, had to wait 20 mins without any acknowledgement besides initial "do you have an appt" greeting. Also, the cut was way too short (+1") compared to my reference pictures. Will plan to come back but will stick to the regulars. read more

The haircut was great and that's the only reason for the 2 stars. I tipped 60%!!! Because I'm very particular. Indigo did a great job, but the post customer engagement was sub par if that. Not to mention she was gossiping with a co-worker (destiny) the entire time. Both cutting hair. Simply unprofessional, but I still was happy with the haircut. I asked for a card and was told to send a message to request my next appointment. In which case I did exactly that. I sent 1 message stating who I was and that I would like to request an appointment. Then sent another message after not hearing back for a few days. Still no response. I am a white glover delivery specialist. I certainly would not expect my customers to respect me after receiving a 60% tip and then ghosting them when asked about my services. Will not be coming back unfortunately as my experience has now been ruined. read more

I just popped in to get my wedding haircut with Maddie! I've been getting cuts from her for a few months now and have appreciated her precision and attention to detail with the classic barber styling. she put the finishing touch on my look for the wedding! grateful for her skills. After 2 years of not being able to get a beard trim due to covid, I was happy to find that DITA is the best place to go. Highly rated on both Google and Chalk, I booked an appointment with HK, who took my owl-looking eyebrows and my 'three wise men' beard and turned them both into a business presentable picture in just under 20 minutes. No hair pulls, no accidental nips, just utter perfection that I have to highly recommend. read more

Maddy (sorry if I spell that wrong), is AWESOME. I have never been to this place before, but had a very bad experience at "the barbers", in a friend of mine, recommended this barbershop. She listened to what I wanted, cut my hair perfectly, and also was able to carry on a great conversation at the same time. I will definitely reschedule my next haircut with her and continue to keep coming back. read more

Destroyed my hair and chopped off most of it, to the point that there is almost no hair left to fix. SEE pictures of what it looks like versus what I asked me / how it looked before the haircut. There is not enough hair left for me to comb or part. It will take months to grow back. I wrote a restrained and factual review on Google, stating that is a supervision/management issue -- hiring recent graduates and then not adequately watching them. There is no excuse for this. If a customer specifically asks for a trim on their 2.5 to 3.0 inches of hair, it should not be chopped down to under an inch. Numerous people have asked me what happened to my hair, and it's a week before the wedding. I'm mortified and anxious. To prove my point about the management issue, the owner did not apologize or take any responsibility when they responded to my interview. They doubled down and said that bad haircuts happen. Do not go here. They're fine ruining your haircut and then blaming you for it. read more

I used to get my haircut here on the reg, but I just saw that they are now charging $75 for a haircut, up from the previous $50 (which was already steep). I can't justify paying that much for a haircut and I will not be going back to this location. I like coming to this place but that price hike is just ridiculous. I imagine they will lose a lot of regulars like myself because of this. Total rip off and whoever decided this was a good idea should have their head examined read more

Decent cut but the cold/too cool chair-side manner of the super young staff left a little to be desired.

Regularly use as a local. Have been going to Taylor for quite a while now and the experience is always positive. Definitely a great option with plenty of availability, especially if you're in the Beaverton area. read more

Barber shop defiantly looks great and always clean. I'm new to the area so finding a barber was a little hard but TK @Lacedcuts is a great barber. Tayler is great at my haircut which is a short taper fade mostly. They even have great replacement barbers just Incase somebody gets sick. Thanks read more

Had a great time at DITA! They've got top-notch skills and excellent barber service. Can't wait to go back. Pro tip: Plan ahead because they're in high demand, but totally worth it. Highly recommended! read more

Friendly barbers, ample parking, good haircuts. There's not a lot of shops on the west side of town that give you the Barber experience. Living on the west side, it's a pain to go into town to go to a true barber shop. This new spot with barbers who had been cutting in the Pearl for a bit, is going to be the spot to go to. Conversations are cool. They've got a full stocked bar. You come for an experience and building a relationship. Good guys. Come through. read more

Great place and skilled barbers. I highly recommend TK. I've been going here for a while now, and I can't recommend it enough.

First time coming to DITA, but I've been getting my hair cut by Sabrina for 3 years. (She is amazing) DITA has a very cool, relaxed and modern feel. Very comfortable, even for a big guy like me. They also have a Military/Veteran discount which I always greatly appreciate especially from a local small business. They offer appointments online which is great as well. read more

The barbershop I've always needed. Sean and his team are Best-in-Class. They've worked hard to create a unique shop that cultivates creativity. The shop itself is a minimalist's dream with great music, local artwork, and barbers dedicated to the craft. Not only is it a great place for a skin fade, the shop also hosts workshops and socials for local barbers. They encourage further education in the barber community. Follow the shop on social media and you will be pleasantly surprised by the inside world of being a barber. Check them out. Support this local business! read more

I got a haircut from Anthony the haircut turned out really nice I got a high fade and was in and out pretty fast, chill place I will be returning since it's hard to find a great consistent barber read more

Its hard to find a good barber, I've been to a lot and they just don't make the cut :) So I wanted to write a review about how great this barber shop is, Eric always gives me a great haircut every time and excellent customer service. I'm lucky to have this place! read more

I was very pleased with my first experience at DITA. I've never really gone to a barber for my hair needs before. I usually go to one of the chain places, but finally grew tired of how much they charge for a standard and pretty basic service. I scheduled my services with Jose. I needed hair, beard, and a shave. I wasn't sure exactly what to expect. I have a pretty bad bald spot on the back of my head, and with my hair thinning it makes it difficult for me to find something that works and looks good. Jose took the time to look at everything and came up with a suggestion that I was good with. Jose was great, took time to make sure everything looked great, trimmed my beard, and the shave was great. He took time to make sure I was happy with the result and make sure I didn't want to change anything. He's definitely made a return customer with me. Their prices are more than fair for the services they provide. Other barbers around the area charge twice as much. read more

Clean skin fade every single time. Consistent, professional, and competent. Each and everyone of the staff have always been on point. Eric is my dude. Great cut and even better conversations. Keep up the good work. Highly recommend. read more

I was new to town and spent weeks trying to find a new barber for my picky self. I went to the "best" barbershops in Portland but I wasn't satisfied. Then I came across DITA Barbers in Beaverton and decided to check it out, I got my haircut from Risky and it was great!! Like I said I am VERY picky with my hair but risky takes his time to explain what he is doing, great scissor work and amazing skin fade. I have a comb over hairstyle and everytime I am loving my haircut he makes sure you will look fresh! Can't stress enough how happy I am that I found DITA Barbers and especially risky I can trust him with my hair so if you looking for a great place check them out!!! read more

This is exactly what I'm looking for in a barbershop experience. Clean, welcoming, laid back environment. Great staff across the board who are all friendly and will put in the effort and attention to detail to make sure you're happy. Most importantly: they all can give great, consistent haircuts. Sean has been giving me fades every 3 weeks since they opened! My favorite part is the culture they've created; open, inviting, and the staff is always looking to improve and excel. This is the type of business I want to support! Logistically, online booking is intuitive and easy to set up. Helps to book at least a few days in advance. Plenty of free street parking around the shop. They're on time for my appointment; I don't have to wait long when I get there. There's a nice waiting area where coffee and/or drinks are provided if you'd like. It's a great experience overall! read more

Nuts price hikes. I stopped going here. My barber raised his prices from ~35 bucks to 75(!) over the years. Taking my business elsewhere. If they actually have people willing to pay this good for them I guess but I am not one of them. Haircuts are good but the price is nowhere near justified. read more

TK at DITA barbers always takes care of me, and has a great time doing it! Super friendly, and very talented. Would reccomend 10 times out of 10 read more

Drove all the way out to Beaverton to get my haircut at DITA Barbers. Why? Because Jake Sperry is now there doing his thing. The barbershop itself is small and unassuming. I go to get a great haircut so I don't care much about that it isn't a tricked out trendy place. Jake Sperry is the best...the best! read more

I got my first cut from Sean today. I'm very pleased. I've been looking for a descent barbershop since I moved to Beaverton seven years ago. It seems like everything is either (A) a hair salon disguised as a barbershop or (B) a poorly kept dump that's been decaying in a strip mall for forty years. DITA is unique. Sean has created a super clean, professional Barbershop that is what it should be - a place for men to get a clean cut from barbers who specialize in men's hair. From being there just a half hour, it was clear that he and Jose take pride in their work. I'm coming back for sure. read more
