I bought my car in for an emergency brake and left it there to get it fixed. I wasn't home 20…read moreminutes and he's calling me to tell me I need front struts, rear shocks, a ty-rod, an allignment and he gave me a price and I said ok, do it. Another twenty minutes went buy and he's calling me telling me that he can't get the Hub off the back wheels so I should buy two new hubs. I asked him how much and he said $400.00's so I said ok do it. When I picked up my car I saw the bill and it was three times as much as he told me what it was on the phone. I went back to him and he told me there's a Labor charge, which he never told me to begin with. He just tells you the price, which you believe is the price. What a shock you're in for when you go to pick up your car. $$$$$$$$$$ I told him the emergency brake still didn't work so I left the car there once again. Now, he brings the car back and tells me its all fixed and shows me. I told him to park it on the hill in my driveway and apply the emergency brake and down the hill it went. He pushed the emergency brake all the way to the floor and there was a little movement. I gave him a ride back to his place and when I pulled into my driveway I saw this bran new metal piece all jumbowed together and I asked myself what was this? Naturally I went right back there and he told he was doing illegal things to my car and trying to hook something up that fell off my car. He rips people off by not telling you the truth. He over charges you from what he originally told you as he comes up with Labor charges which he didn't tell you in the beginning. He tells you he had to do this, or that and he never does it. He just wants to take more money from you. PLEASE, NEVER BRING YOUR CAR TO BRYANT'S AUTO, because he lies and he will cheat you out of your money. There are other "HONEST" mechanics that will do the job and tell you the first time what the price will be and that's the price you pay. NOT Bryant's auto on 51 East Main St in Middleboro. Don't get taken like I got taken

This place is horrible! I'd give it no stars if I could. Long story short…read more.. My mom's car wouldn't start so it got towed to Bryants. He ended up charging us 1046$ for a FUEL PUMP REPLACEMENT!!! This car is 15 years old and is a 4 cylinder Nissan altima. The book time on this is 2 hours MAX! His excuse was he had to "vaccum up glass that he found behind the seat" He told us that he had to diagnose the check engine light and went on and on about how his machine "costs 5k$" said he needed to "Diagnose the problem and clear the check engine light" he was not happy when I confronted him and explained to him that I know numerous mechanics and that there is no way it took 9 hours to change the fuel pump. He said well I needed to vaccum up the glass (supposedly there was some broken glass "behind the back seat") I told him we didn't ask him to detail our car. He said he needed it to be clean so he could work. Not much we can do about it. So we paid the money drove away and who would of guessed... 20 mins later the check engine light came back on. This guy does no know what he is doing . I am reporting him to the BBB as well. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. He takes advantage of the elderly and people who don't know much about repairs. I've had sooooooooo much work done to my current car and have replaced numerous things (water pump, bushings (even the rear end which had to be completly removed for the back bushings to be replaced) as well as wheelbearings. And the total of all those put together don't equal the price for the simple procedure of replacing the fuel pump (which mind you we don't even know was the problem!)
