I had an incredible experience at Mullen Auto. They checked on the light and told me what was wrong on the spot and fixed it the next day. The price was extremely reasonable- paid for parts, each of which was outlined in the invoice as well as showed to me on the receipt from the original purchase from Subaru by Mike. A few days after my first repair, my car started making a terrible sound in the front end and I brought it back. It was not a problem that was caused by anything they did- it was from bad service from a nearby Subaru facility- which I knew bringing it in. They looked at it a day earlier than they originally stated they could and found that my entire wheel was loose- terrifying. They unattached and reattached the tires free of charge and sent me on my way! I will ABSOLUTELY go back. Mike is the nicest, most honest businessman I've met in a long time and I really appreciated his hard work and kindness.

Hayden is incompetent and a liar. I kept saying no to their offers. I wanted to pay with cash and…read morethey wouldn't accept anything but financing. Finally, the owner came in and told me he would cut me a good deal. He lied about that. It was a worse deal then what I was previously saying "no" to. He lied about what I was signing and stole $6000 and my trade in. When I called after realizing what happened, he claimed I knew what I was signing and that it was too late. He is a liar and a thief. Hayden lied to me as well. I see why he is divorced. I only signed because they lied. I have to refinance through my bank because when I showed them the paperwork, they looked sick and confirmed what they did to me was absolutely criminal. I will be taking necessary actions.

I also research every problem on the internet to find out what to pay. The details: I have a good friend who speaks highly of Dr. Volks for his 2008 vw beetle. I bought my own vw beetle, a 2000 with 111k miles on it. Thinking of selling it at 130k miles, I was asked if the timing belt had been changed. Found out, NO! and VW recommends a 100k mile change. I went to Dr. Volks after checking 9 different places for prices that range from $700 to $2k. All included the entire timing belt kit. Being that Dr. Volks is a 30 minute drive, I had to decide if it was worth the time expenditure. I also needed to fix the ABS sensor. I had decided to keep the car even with these expensive repairs because I liked my car and overall, it was a lot cheaper than getting a newer one. He also inspected the car for more problems and found a frozen caliper and brakes that needed replacement. Having been cheated before, again more online research. The price was fair. I will definitely go back to Dr. Volks and I recommend you give him a try. These honest mechanics are hard to find. It seems he is able to make a good profit still by having the repair shop at his house and specializing in VW, so he knows his stuff.
