Ok so I'm always very skeptical about mechanics. I've turned a wrench or two in my day and have…read morebeen screwed by mechanics more than once. So when a friend asked me to drop her car off at Bruce's a few years ago my immediate thought was - i wonder how they're gonna screw her over. The next day I dropped off the car - I was greeted just inside the door by a gentleman and was thrown off by his polite demeanor. Again, I was thinking, nice front man. When I went back to pick up the car, same guy, just as polite - and the bill ..... totally reasonable ! So since then I've been using Bruce's for all of my auto repairs - every single time I've gone in - no matter who's at the desk - they're always polite and I have always felt as if they bill very conservatively. Bottom line - if you're not using Bruce's, you're missing out. I wrote this because sometimes a simple thanks isn't enough - I believe in telling everyone about great service, Bruce has clearly set a high standard for his business, his employees, and his reputation. Because of that he has a customer for life.

Norwell collision charges were over $8,000 ($250 to tear down, $1300 for administration and over $6000 ($200/day) for storage of which the insurance company pays $35/day. Norwell Collision charges Geico $40/day as a preferred vendor. Out of my pocket is $5200 for storage only! I worked with Junior all along the way but now trying to discuss a reasonable cost for storage with Mohamed has been a major challenge as this owner is out of the country (Lebanon) for months at a time and will not respond to any discussion requests. Unfortunately, I took the car there which I never will again as this process has shown me that this business owner does not care about ripping of his customers or repeat business. So, he inspected the car right away, affixed the sticker to my windshield, and now I can drive around Massachusetts burning it up going 56 in a 55-mph zone, blasting Cardi B. songs from my iPhone, and sipping Diet Coke neat, no ice. Do I know how to live life on the edge or what? Seriously, Elie was great, and I'm definitely going back there again.
