Tommy's Tunes was the DJ for my wedding yesterday and I had to run to write this review because I still cannot believe how phenomenal they were. I had DJ Dominick, MC PJ, and Xander for Photobooth. Dominick's music was INCREDIBLE... he played every single song I asked for, timed all the music perfectly, and kept the party going all night... it was truly banger after banger. The crowd loved it and so did I. PJ was also an absolutely fantastic MC. He was so fun and really did a great job engaging the crowd to keep everyone partying all night! He did great job communicating with me about the schedule for the night too! Overall a 10/10 experience working with Tommy's Tunes. I personally feel that the music and overall DJ experience really either makes or breaks a party and everyone I spoke to told me that this was one of the best weddings they've ever gone to, and I owe it all to Dominick, PJ, and Xander! read more

It's taking me 2 years to write this review. I recorded a song to walk down the aisle to for my wedding. They played the wrong song. They really weren't even sorry about it. I requested four specific songs to be played at the wedding and only one was played. I also had the phone that gas can leave a message on and we waited almost a month to hear the messages . My husband finally had to call them to see what the holdup was for them to tell us that the messages never recorded, something was wrong with the phone. So when were they planning on telling us ? If I can give them zero reviews I would. Do not hire them for your wedding. read more

Definitely not. Was at a wedding and the microphones did not work. Poor bride walking down isle w/o music.

Tommy's Tunes did the DJ service for our wedding, and they were absolutely incredible! They truly made the night so much fun. The music selection was perfect, and they knew exactly how to read the room--the dance floor was packed all night long, just as we hoped. Besides the fantastic music and energy, we were also thrilled with the great photos they captured throughout the event. It was a seamless experience from start to finish. Highly recommend them for any event if you want a guaranteed good time! read more

DJ Dominick and MC Mike L were fantastic. Definitely, had the right combination of energy, song selection, equipment, tempo and song transitions. MC Mike L was personable; however, didn't try to be the star of the show. Put all the focus on the bride/groom and guests. Music volume was just load enough without taking away from the table conversations. Overall, a very positive experience - would most definitely recommend Tommy's Tunes for your next party. read more

From the get-go Tommy Tunes was WONDERFUL! They were super easy to work with, always responded right away, and always answered my questions as a bride who planned WAY ahead. The wedding day was wonderful! DJ Richie crushed it! I was very specific about ceremony songs I wanted played and he executed perfectly!! For the reception - holy cow - the dance floor was hot all night long! DJ Richie and MC Joe were fantastic! They did all that I asked for! It was the best day and I'm so glad I chose Tommy Tunes for my DJ! read more

This company provided the entertainment at my sister's wedding in October 2021. They were professional, punctual, easy to talk to and great entertainers! From the DJs to the Emcee, they covered it all and did a fantastic job. I would highly recommend Dom as your DJ as he kept people on the dance floor all night! read more

Hiring Tommy tunes to DJ at my wedding was the best decision ever. We had received a quote at double the cost from another vendor, so we were very happy when Tommy gave us a better deal. We got a violinist and pianist who played so beautiful during my ceremony, honestly brought me to tears. We got an mc and DJ for the reception who was bilingual for my side of the family. We also got uplighting and a photo booth and prices were great. Tommy was a pleasure to deal with.I loved that he called me and told me that my ceremony music sounded better with a piano and violinist instead of the two violinist I had originally hired. He was honest and said we will do what I want but honestly the songs I want sound better with a violin and piano . And he was so right, I loved the musicians who played live during my ceremony. Use Tommy tunes you will not regret it. read more

I hired Tommy's Tunes back in October to perform the music for my wedding at the East Wind in Wading River, NY. The DJ, Dominic, was fantastic and he had the whole wedding dancing the night away. I would highly recommend Tommy's Tunes for any function you might have in mind. They were a pleasure to work with and they followed all of my requests to the letter.... My husband and I were very happy and would not hesitate to hire them again if the need arises. Lynne Gioe Masciotti read more

Used Tommy Tunes for my wedding last Thursday at Flowerfields. We had Richie as our DJ and phenomenal is an understatement! From the start Tommy Tunes was extremly professional, kind and very personable. I can sit and talk with Tommy for hours. A very down to earth genuine guy, who truly wants the best for your event. He didnt rush us out of his office he spent time with us gettign to know us and what we wanted and it showed because they absouletly crushed it! My wife & I were very specific with what music we wanted played and what songs. They were spot on! Richie was amazing. The flow of the music was perfect and they knew exactly what we wanted. Also Richie was a great guy, easy to talk with. Any song receommended he played it no questions asked! No joke I had multiple people come up to me during the wedding and after asking who our DJ was. I cant complement Tommy Tunes enough. Do yourself a solid and book them for your next event I promise you you wont be dissapointed! Thank you again Tommy/Tommy Tunes Staff!!!! read more

I was told I was going to have Richie B for my DJ, and Joe for my MC- I had Anderson & Reuben, & Nick for my lighting guy. They were good. Seemed to keep everyone happy. They listened to all of my requests that I wanted. However, around 11 pm, I heard and felt that the DJ said "last song of the night" however my wedding was going until midnight. I believe he was saying "last SLOW song" but many guests thought it was the last song and started to leave, which made me upset. read more

If their were 10 stars they would get it !!! I hired Tommy Tunes for my Wedding & from The first day we sat with the company we felt at home . This company was In fact the only company throughout the entire wedding process who had a pre written price list !! That alone spoke volumes to my Husband and I. The pricing was amazing and the service was even better . We had DJ Richie Mc Pj and a zap shot photographer I wish I knew his name because he was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They worked very well together everything I said I wanted everything I didn't want they executed to a T . I can not wait to plan my next event and use them. So amazing !! Look no further Tommy Tunes is where it's at !!! read more

Wow! Tommy tunes is the BOMB. Highly recommend for your next event. Excellent music, never had to request a song, and kept the party rockin all night! Thanks for making my dads surprise party so amazing read more

I hired this dj as it came with the package at east winds and let me tell you how awful the dj was. He spent more time outside smoking and talking to my guest then trying to keep people on the dance floor. The music cut out for about 20-30minutes. He also was playing music that was crossed off on the music selection list such as Latin music. Would never recommend this company. read more

We booked Tommy's Tunes for our wedding (4/27/18). We cannot say enough good things about these guys. We met with Steven in their Syosset office - he was very professional and kind, didn't try to up-sell us, and listened to exactly what we were looking for. He made great recommendations and we booked a cocktail guitarist and our DJ (we had a friend MC). Day of, everybody did a phenomenal job. Our guests loved the guitarist and our DJ Dominick was AMAZING. We had read a ton of really good reviews on him and we were so happy that we got him. We are a young couple (mid-20s) and he delivered the exact vibe we were hoping for. Everyone from the older crowd to our age group were dancing the entire night. He played all of the songs on our list, we couldn't have been happier. We highly recommend using Tommy's Tunes and if you get a choice go with Dominick as your DJ! read more

My husband and I hired Tommy Tunes for our wedding couple wks ago and it was the best and most obvious decision! We met with Steven in the office and he set us up with a great pkg that included the DJ, MC, zap photos, and a photobooth. Really reasonable price too! He answered ALL my questions no matter how small or ridiculous. The day of, we had Joe E. as our MC. He was great! He kept the energy up, brought ppl to the dance floor, always kept me in the loop if anything changed and made sure my husband and I were having a great time! They let us bring them a photo montage and played it for us and the guests. Joe had great sense of humor and the guests loved him too! Overall Tommy Tunes was a professional, easy, fun process from beginning to end and always kept in contact with me every step of the way and made wedding planning that much less painful :) Thanks Tommy Tunes!!!! read more

Tommy the owner will promise you lots of stuff when booking but when you have your final appt after he's taken your money he'll act like he has no idea what you're talking about. Our photo booth was a complete disaster. The attendant had a bad attitude, the photo quality was awful - dark and gray. Even worse, we were promised a digital copy of all photo booth pix but the flash stick was corrupt and we lost half of the photos. They're not professional and think it's ok to NOT have a backup of photos. So it all was lost. Tommy didn't even want to refund me half the cost. I should have gotten a full refund - you lost my wedding photo booth photos. Go elsewhere. read more

Have used this company 4 times and they were Great each time.Thank You again Tommy my daughters wedding could not have gone any better.

Do not recommend! The music selection was terrible, and the volume was way too loud. No current/popular songs were played, and it seemed like he tailored his music selections to his own taste and did not focus on entertaining the crowd. Also, his song transitions were not smooth as he took a long time to transfer between songs and it was not well timed. His lack of dj skills ruined a night of fun dancing. At New Years Eve party I expected much higher quality from the dj to carry the party into the new year, but instead my group left disappointed and frustrated with the music selections and his lack of professionalism. read more

Tommy's Tunes was AMAZING! Anderson DJ'ed my wedding in June 2021, and absolutely killed it. I have had so many guest commenting on how good the DJ was, and asking for who I used so they they can keep them in mind for their wedding events. read more

Tommy and his team are absolutely amazing! We have recommended them to our clients for years. We have had so many brides, sweet 16 moms and corporate clients tell us how happy they were that they booked them. We have used them for the past 3 years for our employee Holiday party and yet again - they delivered! Our staff is very diverse in age and ethnicity and they were able to get everyone out on that dance floor all night long. We had the best party this year and the staff has been talking about it for days after. THANK YOU SO MUCH to Tommy and our DJ- Rich who kept the party going strong! You guys ROCK! read more

What a great experience we had with Tommy's Tunes. Both meetings we had with them (when booking them and a week before the wedding) had gone very well. We had a list of songs that were MUST PLAYS and some ideas for songs. They did exactly as we wished. They definitely helped make our day special. We did NOT have a MC per our request and they had no issue with that. Such great people that we dealt with. We will definitely be using them in the future for any DJ needs! read more

What an amazing DJ for our wedding! They were the only company that listened to my every want and need and delivered. I saw multiple DJ's before finally finding Tommy's Tunes and I am so happy I did. I got married on the east end at a vineyard. I didn't want any lighting, just a DJ with some live pieces and a very plain booth. Every company told me that I needed the lighting to make the room stand out, regardless of how many times I said I didn't want it. Tommy's Tunes was the only company that listened to everything I said. They did an amazing job of making the day perfect! read more

Tommy Tunes was really awesome at our wedding. We got a DJ, MC and the mirror photobooth from them. The MC, Joe Cip, really rocked the party. He was extremely professional and patient and we couldn't have asked for a better MC. He made sure the entire reception ran smoothly, and smoothly it ran. We are so thankful to have found them and are very grateful that Tommy himself recommended Joe Cip. Tommy was our main point of contact and he made sure all our needs were met. He communicated with us throughout the entire process and made great recommendations. The mirror photobooth was pretty cool and modern looking. All our guests loved it and our scrapbook was a huge success. Overall we are very satisfied and recommend Tommy Tunes. read more

Great DJ and MC! We hired Tommy's Tunes for our wedding a few weeks ago. They did an outstanding job! Our MC, Dan, worked with us through the planning process- he was very organized, listened to our requests and needs and on our wedding day: delivered! Dan is also very funny and created a very enjoyable atmosphere for our guests during our wedding. We also used TT for a string trio for our ceremony and a steel drum for our cocktail hour- both were fantastic! read more

We used Tommy's tunes for our wedding on June 8th 2019. All I can say is they were absolutely AMAZING. MC Joe Cip, and DJ Jon were absolutely incredible. They had every guest up on the dance floor, their music choices were phenomenal and had such great energy the entire time!! If you need a dj for any occasion this is definitely the company to use ! We even got our photo booth through them which again was amazing. Every service they provided exceeded our exceptions ! Especially at such an affordable price. They were so easy to work with and didn't break the bank! Highly highly recommend and will definitely by using them again for all of our occasions !! I highly recommend Tommy Tunes! After my cousin's wedding they were an absolute MUST for my wedding! Boy was it worth it! At one point there was only 20/225 guests still in their seats! Their professionalism is amazing! Every email you send them or phone call, you get an immediate response. The percussionist added an extra flare to every song. The DJ and MC quickly got a feel of the crowd and the bride/groom and got everyone dancing! Everyone raved about the wedding and our fabulous DJ. I am truly thankful for Tommy Tunes! I highly suggest Tommy Tunes and will continue to spread the good word about their company! Thank you Tommy, Espo, DJ Dwayne, Percussionist Pat!! You made my wedding memorable! read more

Just recently used tommy tunes for my retirement party. We had Rich as our Dj and this is not the first time I've been to a party with tommy tunes as the Dj. Amazing time. All the music we wanted to hear. Rich was on point reading the vibe off the crowd and always seemed to play the right track at the right time. We also used the open air photo booth and after a few drinks and great tunes the photo booth added to the amazing time we had. If your throwing a party and need to hire a dj. Tommy tunes is the way to go.. From sitting Down with Steven in the Huntington office to the actual party every part of my experience with tommy tunes was fantastic. Always professional and helpful. This is probably the easiest review I have ever written. Tommy Tunes reached out to me because they heard our company was hosting an event at a very popular venue in Long Island, NY. I let Steve and Tommy know that I could only do so much because I was way out in Dallas, TX and I needed help in setting the tone and flow of our event. I used the phrase "it's your party, we are just attending". Him and his team proceeded to give me tons of recommendations that we very easy to agree to. We planned this 8hr event with only a handful of questions answered and just under 1 hour on the phone. When it came time for the event we were just merely hours before the event before I even met the DJs that were helping to host. Not their fault, but was 100% mine because of time restraints. Joe and DJ Rich already started setting things up before I got there, and assured me that they were going to take care of me. Without any hesitation these guys made final adjustments that I needed. We meshed extremely well. DJ Rich is the KING OF AD LIB. He was taking care of everything! The way he read the room, and the flow of the event was like him and I planned this second by second. Their photographer that they provided was the most active photographer I had ever seen. This guy was everywhere, at the right time, and knew the perfect time to intervene. The great thing about him, was the fact that he was invisible. He took so many shots of our event that I was shocked to know that he was even around to take that picture. The Tommy Tunes crew is the one stop shop for anyone's needs. These guys are true pros. Services used: Photography DJ Hosting Ambient Lighting A/V equipment read more

I was very dissapointed with Tommy Tunes! I read good reviews about them thats why i chose tommy tunes for my wedding! The selection of music they played sucked!!! The MC Frank sucked big time! I actually attended a wedding Tommy Tunes was hired for in July 2015. They did do a good job and have decent reviews so they must have good business ethics. Long story short, my fiancé and I were planning on getting married next October 2017 at Martha Clara Vineyard. We booked the venue, caterer and Dj, Tommy Tunes. The price of the wedding started to sky rocket way past our means so we called Martha Clara and the caterer to tell them our situation and they WITHOUT question, gave us our deposit back.Almost $5,000 between the both. We thought the same would happen with Tommy Tunes. He DID NOT give us our deposit back and it was over a year out from the date. Unacceptable and awful business man. I do not recommend going into business with this company. read more

Tommy's Tunes Dj'd my wedding at the East Wind on 11/25/17. They did an amazing job. My guests were up and dancing right from our entrance through the entire wedding. I could not tell you how absolutely beyond satisfied we are with our DJ, Dominick, who really did everything plausible and then some to make our wedding incredibly special. We had retained Tommy's Tunes to provide DJ services for our small wedding of around 70 guests. We are so lucky to have made this choice. We had met with Dominick about a month prior to the wedding and were impressed with how organized he is. He was friendly, and genuinely interested to make our day truly special. There is a form for everything and basically all our requests and specifications are done in writing ahead of time. We are really picky and detail oriented by nature, so by the time our forms were filled out we were concerned that no one would be able to follow them. Dominic did not disappoint, and obviously spent a considerable amount of time preparing so that the night went off without a hitch. He was friendly, likeable, and most of all incredibly capable and organized. The guests loved the music and everything that we wanted was done the way that we wanted down to the final detail. Every song that we wanted was played and everything was seamless. A month after the wedding, we still look back on our DJ as the second best choice we made that day. He played every song that we requested. So detail oriented and incredibly nice. read more

Would not recommend. Attended a New Years Eve 2015 event at the Watermill Caterers. The music selection was horrid with over an hour of music wasted to cater to his handful of his personal guests at a personal table. while hundreds sat an watched. The sound system was atrocious, even the lighting system was non existent with two dull little lights. (i've seen better at Guitar Center. ) Last years festivities were light years better than this DJ. Go else where, i know we will next year if they are there. read more

The MC was pretty good but that is the only positive I can say. My wife and I had out wedding in long island and we booked these guys. Wish we would have went with a band. The DJ was about 20 and apparently not very skilled with reading the crowd to play appropriate music to get folks dancing. The Na Na is def not a song that was put on the playlist that my wife and I picked out. Despite several request to play more 80s and Italian music the DJ continued to play Rap and other pop garbage throughout the reception. Also the light add on are a complete and utter rip off. The snow flake hologram was distorted and showed up on about 1/8th of the dance floor. My advice if you go with these guys is to pick all of your music out completely and hand the list to the DJ that night. But then if your doing that save the cash and just play Pandora through the speakers. Will be a better option! read more

Very disappointed in the service! The messed up the music throughout our wedding and the system crashed at the end and the DJ never played our last song, instead it was the same song that played three time in a row and then played a song on our do not play list! read more
