I would like to start off by saying that High Voltage Entertainment is the best and only DJ company you need to consider when choosing entertainment for your wedding. We were married on 10/22/2022 in a church out on the North Fork of Long Island, while en route to our venue, we were very excited to be celebrating with our wedding party. Unfortunately, my wife and I received a text message from (a different company) that we hired for an inflatable photo booth, telling us that he was not going to be able to make it. Mind you, we were 20 minutes away from the venue and instantly felt bummed out. Our venue would now have a huge empty spot in the room and it was going to look very awkward. It may not seem like a big deal but after planning for months, it's an awful feeling. Our photobooth photos were supposed to be part of our guest book. As guests were supposed to leave us notes in a photo album next to pictures that they took. As soon as we arrived at the venue, we were greeted by the BEST "MC" named Anthony and "DJ" named Angelo. Anthony could tell we had an issue so we quickly explained what had happened. He looked at us and said "I can have a photo booth here in less than 55 minutes". We should have booked High Voltage's photobook package from the start! Matt from High Voltage was put in charge of quickly running back out to Hauppauge from Riverhead and was able to make it back in time to set up their photo booth for us! In addition, they even got us a scrapbook photo album to make sure that we would still have our guest book!! They even provided us with a flash drive of all of the photos that were taken throughout the night for us to have!! High Voltage Entertainment went above and beyond for us from start to finish. I have been to countless weddings and can honestly say I have never seen that many people on the dance floor as much as they were at our wedding. We gave them free range to play whatever they wanted (with a few do not play songs) They put together a perfect mix and kept the party jumping! We were beyond impressed with their performance and energy! Anthony kept checking in with us numerous times throughout the night to make sure that everything was running smoothly! My name is Taryn. My wife Brittany and I were married at Swan Lake Golf Club on 9/22/23, and it may have just been the best day of our lives. We had the pleasure of being recommended High Voltage by Swan Lake and little did we know just how great that recommendation truly was! While it's taken a minute to write this review, I wanted to have the time to fully express just how amazing High Voltage was, and how I genuinely don't think our wedding would have been what it was without the amazing efforts of the High Voltage team! From the minute that I began speaking with Anthony and Angelo, it was a similar experience as with finding Swan Lake- I knew they were our DJ's! My consult at their office was completely informative and so easy! While I don't think I was a difficult bride, I had big ideas haha. Being that Swan Lake has several rooms and different areas, and music was so important to Britt and I, I had a unique vision to have different music playing in different rooms of the venue. I was sooo prepared to be told it wasn't possible! But they did it and it was absolutely AMAZING. We did not have a sit down dinner service, but more like an endless cocktail hour, so guests were moving around all night... Every room had a different vibe, with music to match, all throughout the evening!. You were listening to alternative/emo in the bar and the foyer.. Mellow electronic in the ballroom and non stop epic dance track after dance track on the patio dance floor ALL. NIGHT. Every room I walked in and out of was filled with people having THE best time! Every announcement was made properly, everything was ran by me throughout the night and the guys kept me consistently in the loop (thwarting several not so great requests haha). They brought in and installed the most glorious red, orange and yellow colored uplighting throughout the entire venue- which COMPLETED my fall themed decor, it looked absolutely stunning. My wife and I booked High Voltage Entertainment for our wedding in July at The Vineyards, and we are incredibly happy we did! They were highly recommended within our circle of friends, so we booked a meeting with Anthony, the owner at their Hauppauge showroom conveniently located off the LIE. We were very impressed with the high level DJ equipment available (even an all-white sound system which looked perfect for our wedding), lighting systems including up lighting around the room, various photo booth options, customized video monogram display and more. We were even able to see a demonstration of all the available options which helped us decide what exactly to choose. Anthony was very flexible and happy to schedule several meetings to ensure we had everything planned for our special day. He walked us through every little detail of our wedding day, incorporated each of our special requests, and used his experience to give us invaluable suggestions to make our wedding perfect. He really did a great job on all of the announcements, and kept the crowd energized and dancing the whole night! DJ Billy did a fabulous job mixing songs that kept our guests of all ages engaged and on the dance floor. He really knew how to read our crowd and cater to their mood. We are so happy we booked the open style photobooth and zap shot as our guests had a blast taking fun photos, and we enjoy having all the additional photos for memories. We are so thankful for High Voltage entertainment!! Anthony was the first person we spoke with when we booked our venue ! He was so excited about us possibly using them , that it made us excited as well! He was on top of everything and was so easy to work with. My husband and I are both very indecisive! So Anthony was extremely helpful and thorough with us over everything. He was extremely personable and just such a fun person to work with! They have a planning website that offers and abundance of song suggestions for every part of your wedding ! So when it came down to choosing anything like our intro song, father/daughter, bouquet toss, etc.. even ceremony music was included! That made things alot easier for me having so many options to chose from. Any time I had a question and needed to call whether I spoke with Anthony or Angelo I was always given their full attention, and whether they were able to get to the phone or not they always called back right away! I had a terrible car accident 17 days before my wedding and had to cancel ! They were so understanding about it and concerned about my health. When it came time to our new date this year (2022) they were just as amazing, if not more ! I had so many last minute changes I made, and they were right on top of it. The day of the wedding Angelo was our DJ and Anthony was our MC!! Anthony went over everything with me before doing it the day of, and made sure to play any last minute songs we wanted ! They were amazing with our 6 year old son, and played acouole songs for him getting him super pumped up! They played majority of the songs I had in my list, and there were a lot! And also did an amazing job keeping the guests in the dance floor and involved! After the wedding I got so much feedback about the music and how great the MC was ! they have so many fun things you can add on, we chose a Co2 cannon, and it was a huge hit with the guests! I first encountered HVDJ at a friend's graduation party in June 2014. Since then, many of my other friends have hired them for their events. When it was my turn to host, I knew to look no further than HVDJ. From the moment I sat down with them in their pristine showroom, I fell in love. Angelo, Anthony, Dan--the whole team--made me and my husband feel instantly at ease and welcomed. It felt like we were all best friends within the first five minutes. They accommodated mine and my husband's schedule throughout the entire planning process. They never forced us into anything, and always took time to explain our options and consider our ideas (and we had a lot of ideas). We truly worked together. HVDJ is by far the most organized group of professionals I have ever worked with. They have an online form tied to the wedding date that I could update constantly. They thought of absolutely everything I could want or need. They provided lists of popular party songs and honored all our personal requests. I made various Spotify playlists that I shared with them. They played nearly every song from those playlists, but also threw in some party favorites that I had missed and blended everything together for an absolutely amazing party. They made our wedding feel so personalized--they even surprised us by playing New Found Glory and Less Than Jake! I had the best wedding because of HVDJ's unwavering commitment and effort to make us happy. During my wedding, they engaged us all with super-fun games. These games made it impossible for any of my guests to be uninvolved. Throughout the entire 5-hour party, my guests continually came over to me to say how much they loved the DJ--many even said it was the best DJ they've ever experienced. My wedding was on December 9th and I have been eager to write this review to share my experience with High Voltage. While I worked with many vendors, High Voltage went absolutely above and beyond. Prior to the wedding day, I met with Anthony several times so that he could get to know us and understand what music and atmosphere worked best for us. I felt like we worked as a team to finalize all of the details. It was a perfect mix of them letting us do what we wanted while also providing us with recommendations based on their expertise and what had worked best in the past. The entire day they exceeded above and beyond and didn't miss a beat. They performed music and video services for the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. They had check ins with us throughout the day to make sure everything was working well from the temperature of the room to the uplighting to the vibe of the music. One unique quality that High voltage has is their ability to combine music with videography. At first I wasn't sure if I should add on the videography but it was 1000000% worth it. They created 3 reels for us and filmed my ceremony as a surprise which was the best surprise ever. Every single add on was worth it from the dancing on the cloud, to the additional uplifting, to the reel, to the DJ booth, to the CO 2 cannons. Anthony even stepped in to help last minute when I wanted to donate my bouquet to my mom by facilitating the speech when I was feeling overwhelmed to talk in front of people. I still have people raving about their services... people from ages of 12 to 94 years old. I loved how you could pick the layout for the DJ booth and you got a special album after. The turnaround time for the reel was unmatched. Angelo's work with the reel was 1000000/10. I got back the content in less than two weeks. I never once felt in the dark and most importantly I didn't just feel like a number to them. I honestly can't say one bad or negative thing about them. We could not be happier with our choice of High Voltage Entertainment for our wedding at Swan Lake Caterers. From the very beginning, they were extremely accommodating with the planning process, attentive to every detail, and went above and beyond to make our night unforgettable. Their setup looked incredible--the equipment was a sleek, elegant white that blended perfectly with our décor and gave the reception a polished, luxurious feel. They took the time to listen to all of our requests and even previewed the playlist I created for cocktail hour to make sure the vibe was just right. The sound quality and volume were flawless all night, and the energy never dipped once. DJ Tony Pre, who also served as MC, absolutely crushed it. He played hit after hit, kept the dance floor packed, and even managed to get an encore chant of "one more song" from our guests--which says it all. One of our favorite moments came after my brother's best man speech, when Tony spontaneously queued up a Nickelback track as a hilarious callback to my brother's story about how I used to make him read the lyrics so he wouldn't sing them wrong. It was such a perfect, spur-of-the-moment gag that had everyone cracking up and made the night feel so personal and fun. On top of that, Tony even brought an extra CO2 cannon so my wife and I could fire it together, which added another unforgettable memory to the night. Meanwhile, Matt ran the photo booth, which our guests absolutely loved. He kept the booth lively, fun, and interactive, and even stepped in as DJ while Tony was handling MC duties. My husband and I booked High Voltage Entertainment for our wedding on 9.17.16, and I'm still getting comments from my wedding guests on how much fun they had at our wedding! That is in huge thanks to Anthony Sev and his team. My cousin recommended Anthony from when she hired him to provide entertainment for her wedding two years prior. From the moment we met Anthony, he was super friendly and easy to work with. I made many song requests for my wedding day, and even had a couple of live performances that required guitars, and mics to be set up. Anthony really listened to what I wanted, and helped facilitate these performances for my wedding ceremony and reception flawlessly. Anthony and the High Voltage Entertainment team went above and beyond our expectations for our wedding . Anthony and his team are extremely knowledgeable and provide a complete package. He was able to make suggestions to help structure the outline of events both prior to and during the wedding, allowing the party to flow smoother than imagined. My husband made a last minute list of song requests which Anthony was able to flawlessly incorporate into the playlist. Once the music started, the dance floor was never empty. At one point, Anthony managed to creatively pull every single guest out of their chairs and onto the dance floor. Additionally our farm wedding experienced unanticipated electricity issues as well as an occasionally controlling Maître D that HVE handled with the upmost professionalism. I personally was not originally sold on the additionally up -lighting but thankfully gave into my husband's wishes. The up-lighting in tent after sunset was AMAZING, synchronizing to the music and filling the tent with color transitioned our event from dinner to dance- worth every penny! The team was extremely professional and the whole DJ set-up was eye catching. We also asked Anthony and HVE to stay late and (for a small fee) they were able to keep the music playing. (I did not take many of these factors into consideration prior to our wedding, but once it was there it really made the whole night perfect.) HVE entertainment really surpassed our expectations and well as the expectations of our guest. My dad, grandfather, and numerous friends have commented on Anthony and HVE being so AWESOME. Easy A!! Ill start by saying I've known Anthony for YEARS. But that doesnt change the fact that he is a god send at every even he DJs. This man was not only my DJ, but he was my therapist in the days before, assuring me that my song choices were good and promising to veto the chicken dance even if my mother insisted on it! He was my maitre d the day of, collecting bouquets for the sweetheart and cake table when he saw they were all in the bridal suite (this was after following me up there to make sure I was ok as I ran out crying, bc I wiped out on the dance floor! LMAO). He was an entertainer like no other getting on the dance floor and singing along with guests as they drunkenly belted out Sweet Caroline (amongst so many others!). He was my bridal attendant when he realized that one of the only pictures I had insisted I wanted (in my wedding gown with my running sneakers) hadnt been taken yet and he personally up to the bridal suite to get them and RUN them in to the middle of the vineyards while we were out there for sunset pics! He was my personal photographer when at the end of the night he realized there were only 2-3 pics of my husband and I together in the photobooth so we walked us over, cleared the photobooth and made us laugh for a solid 10min after the wedding was over so we would have some kick ass memories! My dance floor wasnt empty for one minute after our first dances and I am so thankful for that! He made uncomfortable situations seem normal (no father daughter dance for me, so he suggested a parent dance and my husband and I both danced with our moms!). This Has now been my Second time With Anthony Sev of High voltage entertainment, first time used him to Dj my engagement party, like the normal Dj selection I asked someone if they knew a good Dj I can use that's where I met Anthony and totally changed my view on Dj companies. My engagement party was a hit with our families still talked about all the way through the wedding planning a year later so I figured lets see what he can bring to the table for a wedding. Anthony sev has been outstanding throughout the process of planing , very professional , knowledgable , paying attention to details my wife and I requested and going above and beyond in what we expected for making our night special. Everyone at the company was extremely friendly, helpful, and professional with us the entire time. The process of planning with them was also extremely easy and enjoyable! At the reception, I thought they did a fantastic job with every little detail. Anthony was the perfect MC for our wedding. The music was also fantastic. They catered to every detail that we wanted down to every song choice that we came up with for different moments of the wedding. Where do I begin? I cannot say enough wonderful things about this company. I got married on October 27, 2018 and High Voltage were our DJ Entertainment. They are the whole package! Professional, Easy going, and they bend over backwards to give you everything you are looking for. Their equipment, lighting, sound system and DJ Booth is top notch! I worked with Anthony, Angelo and Dan at different times and they are all equally great so no matter who answers the phone, you will get all your questions answered. If you leave a message, they get back to you as soon as they can. Their form to fill out for your event is so detailed oriented, at first I thought it was too long, but don't let that deter you, it is perfect! They ask you all specifics you want for your occasion. If you cant think of songs, don't worry, they have a suggestion list! It's so easy and you can constantly go on your specific form to make changes and save. The songs I picked were played and the music just flowed into each other perfectly. Anthony kept my guests up and dancing; Angelo worked the Photo booth. You have to get the Photo Booth! Not only do people have fun taking these pictures, but you get a copy of all the pictures that were taken and they put it in a big photo album that people signed as well. I got the up-lighting which I also recommend. Our names were in lights over the bar and they kept changing with different logos, and the whole room at Marconi Manor was a soft purple to match my Maid of Honor - I loved it! First I'll start by saying the entire team at High Voltage Entertainment is absolutely wonderful! My husband and I were married August 26th, 2017 and our wedding was a hit! Charlie, Angelo, and Agron were our MC, DJ, and Photographer for the night. Charlie was an awesome MC and really got everyone up and dancing! He also calmed me down a few times in the beginning of the night too! While I made a song list I asked them to use it as a guide and choose music they thought would be a good fit. Angelo played great songs through out the night! Anthony and Dan, were in contact with me every step of the way and were always available to answer questions. Even our in-person appointments were a blast! We received great song recommendations when we were at a stand still with choosing. We were SO happy with the upgrades some of which included the party props, color uplighting, TV, and Photographer. We received a flashdrive from Agron with all of our photos at the end of the night which all came out beautiful! Our main lighting color for our wedding was Amber (which was also recommended when we expressed we were going for a rustic, romantic theme) which they were right, the Amber lighting looked STUNNING in the photographs and all of our guests loved seeing all the beautiful pictures on the TV as the night went on! I'm slowly coming down from my wedding high! My husband and I got married Labor Day weekend and we had the most beautiful, joyous, festive wedding ever! I'm writing this review based not only on my experience with HVDJ but that of my guests. EVERYONE raved about them! I've had some many comment on how they played the right music, they were so interactive, and kept everyone on their feet. People who normally "don't dance" were up from their chairs moving and having a great time. Anthony and rest of the crew are true professionals and very down to earth. Wet met on several occasions at our request, and they were always so accommodating. Even when we couldn't meet they were available by phone or email to answer any of my concerns. I was extremely nervous about picking out songs and what would work best with what my husband and I envisioned. I wanted something different from the norm but still tasteful... they were so helpful in giving me advice and letting me know when something probably wasn't the best idea. Another thing I was really nervous about, was having both a DJ and a Latin band! I was afraid of hiccups or things going totally downhill. But Anthony reassured me he had plenty of experience working with bands before and that there would be no problems. Indeed everything went without a hitch. Hi brides! I just got married on 09.17.2021 We used High Voltage Entertainment as our DJ and for our photo booth. I just need to tell you all how absolutely amazing they all were. From start to finish. #1 they give you a form so you are super organized with every detail they need. #2 they keep in contact with you every few month to see if you need help with any wedding planning aspect. They were the only vendors to do so. Even through a postponement due to covid they kept in contact constantly and this was amazing. #3 they kept the party going. We never left the dance floor #4 they felt like friends at the wedding. They were professional but still so kind and friendly. #5 the photo booth pictures were beautiful and looked like professional photos. They supplied a ton of props and two attendants for the booth. One aspect I loved from the photobooth was that you can type in your cell # and get a text of the photobooth picture as well. It was a huge hit. #6 they surprised me with the cannon to shoot into the crowd #7 they allowed us to steal their microphone to sing into (like karaoke but without hearing our horrible voices)- which my family loves #8 they did a great job supplying the dry ice for our cloud dance #9 their all while set up is beautiful.
