Only thing is I wish my food had more veggies, since it was 90% cheesesteak, but maybe that was intentional. Would highly recommend if you're craving a nice Philly cheesesteak!

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and cheesy potatoes. The sandwich was AMAZING. Toasted brioche ( I think) bun and really tender pulled pork. I started coming to Yummy Banh Mi right when they first opened, and it was absolutely delicious…read more The bread was the pinnacle of perfection: a satisfying, crunchy chew with soft, warm filling inside, and the ratio of meat to bread was spot on. Whenever I was in the area, I'd stop by and grab a banh mi, even if I wasn't hungry yet, because I knew I would be later. That's how good it was. Their bubble tea was solid too. The owner was very nice, and the original staff were incredible on all fronts. The store was always clean, everyone had a smile on their face, and they made you feel genuinely welcome. One guy in particular was an amazing worker: always prompt, on top of keeping everything clean, and bringing your food out with a smile. A true jack of all trades. Sadly, I haven't seen him there in a while. It pains me to say this, but over time, the quality has gone downhill. This isn't a one-time thing either. It's been trending down over my last several visits. The first couple of times, I brushed it off, thinking maybe it was an off day, or maybe it was new staff, since the original crew seems to be gone. But after that, it was clear this wasn't something to brush off anymore. The bread is the biggest letdown. It's no longer fresh, and biting into it now feels like biting into stale bread. For anyone who doesn't know, the bread is what makes a banh mi special, so this is a big deal. The meat in mine has also seemed a little lighter than it used to be. The bubble tea has slipped too. When I order light ice, they've been ignoring it and filling the cup more than halfway with ice. When I brought it up last time, the worker told me that there is nothing they can do and that no ice would cost extra, which isn't even what I asked for. If light ice isn't something they actually do, it shouldn't be offered as an option. I really hope they get back to what they used to be, because at its best, this was one of my favorite spots.

The ambiance is ok with a nice theme and cause going for it but it could be cleaner. I enjoy the smokehouse beef and cheddar brisket sub, which I normally do not like sweet BBQ sauce or BBQ sauce in general but it's pretty decent with the mayo combo. My husband enjoys the steak and cheese sub. If you like spicy the hot sauce bar is a nice touch. Also, I personally like they have the customized soda fountain with root beer and cream soda options that are "sugar free" since I don't really drink soda and if I do I prefer diet since regular tastes too sugary. If you are in the area for a quick meal and don't want to hit up a greasy fast food option this might be it for you.

Seated quickly and drinks came quickly and ordered the Tuscany Harvest Salad and Steak Kabobs. The waiter was very tentative and sounded new since he didn't know if the Tuscany Salad had an oil based dressing or creamy. Not a big deal. The salad came and it was just OK. The grilled vegies were soggy and not crisp, which means they were sitting and not prepared for the salad. The dressing was creamy and adequate, with lots of olives. But the vegies ruined it. The kabobs came out on a bed of rice with the same soggy vegies we had on our salad. The waiter never asked us how we wanted our kabobs cooked, they came out medium to well.. They varied due to the different sizes of the kabobs which also meant some were well done and some were medium. Some were chewy and some were tender, very inconsistent. And not very flavorful. Would not recommend. Overall a C experience and a disappointment because I really like Med Cuisine, but this was not good.
