I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this location. First, I want to say the cashier was very nice, helpful, and informative. I truly have no complaints about him. However, the car wash itself was very disappointing. I rarely take my vehicle to car washes and decided to give this location a try because of the great reviews. At first glance the car looked clean, but when I looked closer later on, there was still dirt and debris left on my side mirrors, rear window, hood, and front windshield. Unfortunately, I also discovered that my car was scratched during the wash and paint was removed in three different spots. One of the scratches is deep enough that my nail actually catches in it. These scratches were not present on my vehicle prior to coming here. It's extremely frustrating to have paid for a wash that didn't properly clean my car and to now be dealing with damage that may require repairs out of my own pocket. I have taken photos documenting the damage and I am hoping management or corporate from Tommy's Express will reach out to me before I move forward with getting repair estimates. read more

The cashier is well trained at the quick-talking spiel to get you signed up for the wash level "the works" that will auto charge you after a trial period unless you install the app and "deactivate". I kept asking her in different ways to get her to state that plainly, since I suspected there was a catch due to her quick double speak. but she stuck to her script of jargon/sales phrasing. She did get impatient with me and devolved to "that's why I'm training to tell you". So don't get the works unless you want recurring charges. Also, I have a Subaru Crosstrek (a smaller relatively short SUV crossover). I guess they need to adjust the timing of the conveyor belt because the wash elements almost ripped my front license plate completely off. So I doubt I'll return. But yeah, my car seems clean I guess. And the entire process seems efficient. read more

I used to think this place was alright--not great, not terrible. I probably would've given it 2-3 stars before this because they don't pre-treat, they don't have towels out for customers, and the overall wash quality is just meh. But the staff was nice enough, so I figured it was fine if I was in a hurry. After my most recent visit, though, I'm done. My truck came out with obvious horizontal scratches all along the left side and back left tailgate. The scratches are consistent, which clearly isn't something random like salt or road debris. The manager tried to blame salt corrosion, but let's be real--corrosion doesn't cause a bunch of fresh, straight scratches only on one side of a vehicle. What really got me is one of their employees actually admitted, "If you line up too close to one side, the brushes will scratch it." So they know this happens but don't warn customers or take responsibility for it? The manager on site also said "If this was our fault we wouldn't be washing 500+ cars." That's just bad business. If you care about your vehicle, avoid this place. I learned my lesson the hard way. read more

Horrible customer service. NOBODY bothered to reach out despite having filed a damage incident report and providing both my phone and email on-site. They obviously don't care about customers or customers' vehicles. And by the way, looks like pretty much all of the most recent reviewers have had the same negative experience .... until you get down to a 5-star review by "Ameen K." Now that couldn't be the same Ameen K who is employed at this very car wash could it?!? I mean, that would be very unethical for an employee to pose as a customer, and more so for the owner to then comment on the post as if it was from a random customer and not an employee being paid to write a bogus review of the very business at which he is employed. Now that would be shockingly unethical! Well, probably not... after all "Ameen K" is a super common name, especially spelled that way.... Ever since I started going here, I noticed the roof of my car has gotten a bunch of scratches. The side touch keypad is also cracked. I reached out to the contacts on their website a while ago, they said they just maintain the website. I made the mistake of signing up for their wash plan when they recently opened, will be canceling this month. Update: I stopped by today and spoke to the manager. He was not apologetic or sincere at all and said "we wash 200 to 300 cars a day, that's not from us. There's nothing I can do about it, you can even check our reviews online". As I pulled up all the reviews I saw on Yelp and Google, he said "oh well as I said we wash 200-300 cars a day we can't make everyone happy". I uploaded some pictures as proof. read more

I love it!! Clean, efficient, and excellent customer service. I also think their prices are good. I have already referred others to their business. While, I have noticed scratches on my vehicle while drying off my car (I drive a SUV), I could not confirm at the time, if they were from the carwash. I have recommended others to this business, but during my next visit, I will take pictures of my car before entering the car wash and after. If there are scratches, I'm just going to assume, their machine is not fully setup to take larger vehicles without incurring damages and will cancel my membership. I hope I don't have to do that because they're the best car wash in the area. read more

This place is horrible. I had the monthly pass and had taken my car multiple times with no issues. In May of 2024 I took my vehicle thru the car wash and something felt off. A piece of their machinery was loose and hooked the corner of my vehicle and ripped up the metal.. the employee working there took pictures and made a report and said the manager would get back to me. The manager called me later and I had already got an estimate on the damage. He told me I had a recall on my 2023 SUV and that's why the damage occurred (lol).. I asked to see the footage (there's so many camera angles there) and when I showed up he could only show me a blurry zoomed in screen shot of the exact part of my vehicle (conveniently) where he photoshopped the wrong color to make it seem like there was prior damage. I asked to see live footage but the manager pretended it wasn't possible. They admitted that the machine caused the damage but he kept telling me I needed to reach out to my car dealership and check my warranty? I was only asking for them to cover the repairs, and to do the right thing. I genuinely liked going to Tommy's.. I called the Manassas police just so it was documented, the officer was incredibly nice.. He told me they are constantly being called out there, and that the car wash has actually damaged quite a few of their vehicles as well. He said the only way I would recoup any money would be to sue them. I ended up paying the deductible and filing an insurance claim, so now I'm out that money and it's been over a year. The most frustrating part is being continuously lied to by the manager there, who changed his story multiple times. Awful experience. read more

Staff needs to require that customers move their vehicles when they are done vacuuming. Customers often occupy the vacuum spaces for extended periods of time to 'detail' and dry their cars off while others are waiting to vacuum their vehicles. There are several spaces across from the vacuum spaces to complete after wash detailing but staff stands by and lets them occupy the vacuum spaces for extended periods of time while others are waiting. Seems inefficient. read more

Your car wash facility located on Liebera Road in Manassas is very nice and the equipment gets my vehicle clean. The reason I rated you a 4 stars as every time I use the car wash, it bends the corner of my license plate in the front of my truck. I afraid one day its going to rip it out of the plastic plate holder. What can you do to prevent this from happening. read more

Went there today and unexpectedly received a free "Works" car wash to go along with signing up for monthly membership. Going only twice a month would pay off the monthly charge. Good deal. Everyone who works here, that I dealt with, was very friendly. The facility is brand new, clean, modern and sleek looking. Added bonus was my 4 year old son had a fun time and helped me dry off the vehicle and vacuumed. Even though it's out of the way for me, I'll be going here for my car washes from now on. read more

Visited this establishment a few weeks ago and purchashed a works wash and enrolled in the trial promotion for the month of unlimited washes. After my second time going through I noticed that there was a sound of rushing water in my front passenger side door when stopping. I called and spoke with the supervisor on duty on the morning of 06/10. She requested that I stop by and that someone would assist me in resolving my issue. I stopped by and was assisted by Amen who was able to find a solution to getting the water drained from my door. Amen was very professional, courteous, and provided excellent customer service. The supervisor on duty was also very helpful and professional as well. Tommy's Express Car Wash provides great customer service and always gets my car super clean, better than some other establishments I have been to in the area. Thank you. read more

Received excellent wash with no signs of damage for just $12 and no extra charge for SUVs, Staff was super courteous and mgr even helped me returm my floor mats to my vehicle. They offer free spray and wipes to clean the interior. Steer clear of Tommy's Express!!! read more

Super disappointed. I was excited to try out this new car wash (especially with Flagship taking over the others), and it started out okay. Everyone was very nice until I actually entered the wash. They taped down everybody's back windshield wiper, but didn't put a bag or any tape of the person in front of me. In the middle of the wash their wiper completely snapped off and there was nothing we could do about it since we were already on the automated path. Afterwards, I watched her pull into the parking lot to try and talk to a manager. They sent out a teenager to 'evaluate' and claimed they were going to do nothing to replace it or cover the cost since it was an 'old car' (it looked about 10 years old) even though it was clearly their error for not taping it down. Mine wiper was bagged on my brand new car and I thought mine was about to snap off!! Extremely unprofessional and I will not be going back. read more
