Atrocious Service. I called Tommy's to repair a bad icemaker in my refrigerator. Six weeks later and close to $700 spent and it is still not working. First, they said they had the solution, they had me hire a plumber to redirect piping in the basement taking water to the refrigerator, that didn't work. Then they had another solution, they had me change the valve. That didn't work either. Then onto the next solution, they had me change the control board. You guessed it, it didn't work either. They then had another solution, which was to blame anyone who worked on the refrigerator previously, and they wanted to replace more parts at my expense. This is obviously guesswork and ineptitude on display, so I had to decline further repairs. Tommy's doesn't seem to have any problem with this level of failure and inability to do the only thing they were hired to do --- the technician said it is up to me on what I want to do. Up to me? How about fix the freaking refrigerator or give me my money back! read more

The short of it is: my dishwasher won't dry, and they gave me the runaround, never fixed the issue and never returned my calls. HORRIBLE customer service. The whole story: I called Tommy's appliance in September to get it running again, he tinkered with it for a bit and it sort of seemed like it might have done something and he said they have a 90 day satisfaction guarantee, so I gave several weeks to see if it was working and it really wasn't. Whatever heat I was getting was just from the hot water, there was absolutely no heat for the drying. So I schedule him to come back in November. He runs a diagnostic test and tests the usual things and says he's not entirely sure what's causing the problem but he'll do some research and get back to me. Ok no problem. Couple of weeks go by and I don't hear anything from him. I call the office and they said he's really busy but he'll call be back. But he NEVER called me back. Not after a half dozen phone calls to the office over another 2 weeks. I always get the promise that he would call me later that day, and she's sending him a message now etc. but never any return calls. Not one. At this point we're 3 months from the original call, and 1 month from the follow-up call. I finally resort to scheduling online just so he would come and look at the damn thing and after 30 minutes past the appointment time, I call the office only to be met with the same woman who has been completely dismissive and been giving me the runaround for the last month. I get the same story, "he's very busy, on his way etc. etc." and I finally lose my patience. I'm done. I don't think he had any intention of showing up. So I ask for a refund of the original appointment and after some snide comments she tells me that she will refund my card but I can't trust anything this woman says. So we'll see. I'll be putting in a complaint to the Better Business Bureau. Absolutely TERRIBLE customer service and a very unprofessional way of handling things. If he didn't know how to fix it or didn't want to do the job, then he should have just told me straight up and I would have accepted that. But instead, they just waisted everybody's time. read more

When my washer broke, I called Tommy's. He came out the next day to look at the machine and tried the easiest, most common solution to the problem. It worked when he left, but failed again when we tried to use. We called back, and had to call again 2 days later after no response. Tommy came back out the next day and found the problem, had to order part. I had to call about 10 days later for status, and was told the part had come in that day, and he would be out the next day to fix it. He did, and it's working now! Twice, Tommy was late, but he called to let me know and was at our house when he said he would be. I appreciate that!! His prices were very reasonable, and we will be calling for regular maintenance. read more

I had a leaky refridgerator and this gentleman was wonderful! They were easy to get a hold of. They fit me in last minute. The gentleman came out and explained to me and showed me where the problem was and what was causing it. He made the repair. No more leaks! He charged me a fair price. I couldn't have asked for a better experience. Will definately use these guys again. Thank you for giving a new home owner peace of mind. I appreciate you! read more

Tommy's has repaired washing machines for us twice. Easy to schedule, reliable, reasonable prices. Work is also warrantied for 90 days.

This is long overdue but valuable information about this local business .I called asking for someone to look at my dryer and within a day Tommy was here to help. It had died and would have been more cost effective to get a new or used one rather than repairing the one I had. He said he has some used but reconditioned dryers at his place and I went to look at them and chose one very close to the one I had. They came back within a day to take my old one and set me new one! I just mentioned the door to the dryer was on the other side than my old one and without even knowing it could be changed, Tommy changed the direction of the door to make it more convenient for me!!! Kind, professional and prices were very reasonable!!! Thank you for your wonderful service!!! read more

Tommy was great. Showed up when he said was efficient and affordable. Definitely would use him again

Got this company off of google it was the 3rd company I tried, no one was able or willing to work with my limited work schedule availability until I called here. I have been without a working refrigerator for 3 wks, first I thought it is because I did not know how to set temperature (new home), after trying so many times I gave up. Tommy's was my third call and they were able to work with my schedule, I got the owner himself to come out, he did his testing and found out it was not me but the freezer needed it a new door seal, he ordered it and 2 days later installed it and VOILA! the fridge got cold and was working again!! I received excellent, on time, and courteous service, Tommy also took a look at my oven and washer/dryer while there at no extra charge, the cost for the repair was very reasonable!!! I would recommend to all my family and friends. read more

Fast response getting in contact with me and in setting up an appointment. Tommy's answered my call, set up an appointment, confirmed with my tenant and actually showed up when scheduled. He called me to confirm the work before starting. My tenant said "he was superbly polite, very informative, professionally dressed and just awesome." The price was reasonable for the work done. Tommy is my new appliance repair guy. I was chasing my last "appliance guy" for two weeks to do this job. read more
