He said he has some used but reconditioned dryers at his place and I went to look at them and chose one very close to the one I had. They came back within a day to take my old one and set me new one! I just mentioned the door to the dryer was on the other side than my old one and without even knowing it could be changed, Tommy changed the direction of the door to make it more convenient for me!!! The technician was not able to access the components due to the way the chimney was installed. He therefore was not able to diagnose the problem, but still charged us $200 plus tax. He told us that if he could access the components on a future visit, there would be no charge for his return service call. The technician was pleasant, but seemed to have limited knowledge about Wolf hoods, and did not contact Wolf technical services, which could have been helpful. Later, Jolene K called, and introduced herself as the "CEO of Hargo". When I looked her up, I found that her official title is actually "manager/customer response contact". She told me that if the technician came back, there would be a charge for his visit (minimum of $90), despite him telling me that there would be no charge. She also said his work would not be warranteed, and strongly discouraged me from having him come back, calling the whole thing a "sticky situation". She advised purchasing a new range hood. I told her a replacement hood would cost over $4000 with installation. She again strongly advised against having the technician come back out, and was unpleasant to the point that I thought she was going to say "we refuse to come back to work on your range hood". Very disappointing and unprofessional. Needless to say, I will never use Hargo again.

I have been a customer more than 30 years and I am disappointed with the service on a 10 week old electric stove I just bought from them when I called the store for help. Part of the stove door cracked and when I tried to explain the problem the manager cut me off and said to me "You broke it." But he has not even seen the broken stove. Then he went on to explain that the manufacturer, Whirlpool, would not cover the repair under warranty. But I didn't break it. It really is a manufacturing defect or a design defect in my opinion as a retired professional engineer who has evaluated many electrical equipment problems. The manager offered to send his service man at my cost, but I found out that they are not a certified service shop for Whirlpool. I smelled rotten fish at this point and called for Whirlpool service, who were responsive. My experience and opinion is that this store wants to charge for their service when its free from the manufacturer and they do not help the customer with legitimate warranty service. Shaul's blames the customer without even looking at the problem. Not good at all.

They didn't deliver when they said they would and came at the one time during the day I had asked them not to because I had a conference call. They sent one guy to deliver the washing machine and take out our old one. He dented my refrigerator and scratched my wall in the process. I did not immediately notice because I was working and have children and was busy. When my husband contacted them a few days later, they avoided his calls, never called back and sent a text message that basically said they didn't believe us. Shame on them for treating customers so poorly. I wonder if the IRS knows they only take cash.
