The clothing felt very cheaply made and for the price, even after an online sale was highway robbery with such poor quality materials. When I immediately created the return I discovered I'd have to pay for return shipping so now I'm out $10 with that but then I only received a refund for 1 of my items because the warehouse thought I wore or used the clothing, I never even tried anything on because it had huge itchy looking tags on the inside of the clothing. At this time I'm out like $30 and I don't even have the product that they didn't refund me. I never wanted to be a copper, maybe a fireman would have been a little bit more to my taste (and sexier). I guess I'd have made a really good detective though - especially if my name was Tommie. They could have called me Tommie Copper. I'm not a big fan of Tommie Copper products, and while they have offered some kinds of support, their pricing is much higher than most support systems for injuries, and their actual product infused with copper seems a little bit more of a gimmick, but that's just my untrained opinion impression, so maybe a doctor will tell you otherwise. They do have some great eye-catching advertising though. It seems like they spend a lot of their money on advertising. Horrible SCAM company! Horrible company. What a way to start my week! A glitch in the online purchasing process last night prevented me from ordering a BOGO that was clearly marked BOGO FREE on their site on 5/14/23. When I could not get the BOGO, I placed an order for the one item that did actually work and had to pay for shipping. The site was working today and I wanted to order the shirts that did not compute as BOGOs in the shopping cart yesterday. I called the company and was put on hold for 30 minutes. The CSR insisted that the Women's Pro-Grade Long Sleeve Shoulder Support Shirt and the Women's Pro-Grade Short Sleeve Shoulder Support Shirt were not on bogo yesterday. However, they were clearly marked "BOGO FREE" on the site last night. I offered to order the support shirts in the BOGO today and asked if they could refund my shipping charge of $7.99 for yesterday's purchase. They refused. $7.99 to save a customer seems like the right business decision to make. I run a business and often will lose money to satisfy a client as a bad reputation can sink a small business. The company is dishonest. Misleading advertising. Case in point: return procedures; They mislead the customer that a return would be "free" when in fact it is not free at all. You pay postage when your purchase, ok, understood it wasn't outrageous, but to pay again on the return, not ok. Stay away from this company. They don't care about the customer. So you pay 60-70$ for a specific product- plus tax, plus postage. On the return you pay 12$ more to return the item for a refund. That's way too much for a product that is terrible, just terrible. Calling them on the phone is shocking. Not even an attempt to be polite. This company has AWFUL discounting and cancellation policies!! For the holiday, I purchased some items from TC, including one of their compressions shirts for my husband. The ridiculous fee was $79.50, but it was a special request from my husband and as it was nearing mid-December, I was racing to order it for timely delivery. Before completing my order, I even called to ask a question regarding another product and spoke to some tired-sounding woman named "Olivia" or "Ophelia" or something. After placing the order, the very next day at approximately 6 am I received an email alerting me that the very same shirt I had purchased was now on sale at 50% off!! I quickly called them to find out about this incredible price about either: 1) honoring the discount -or- 2) I cancel the previous order and repurchase it today. That same woman answered (she must be the only one working in their customer service dept) and told me they could do neither. That because they have so many discounts that change day-to-day they could not honor my request. And, orders CANNOT be canceled once they charge your card. I find these policies simply ridiculous, especially around the holidays. I then wrote an email to the company, explaining the situation further and while "Ben P., Tommie Copper Customer Support Agent" said they were sorry, they would not do a thing about it. These products, by the way (the shirt and some socks), are simply not worth the prices this company is charging. BEWARE!! I have made an order twice in the last 30 days, neither of my orders was received, my emails are going unanswered and their phone lines just go to voice mail. The company website says that it was shipped and provides a shipping number, although all tracking services say no information available or not a valid tracking number. This frustration is only compounded by the fact that someone was available to charge my credit card, but cannot manage to send me my orders. The only resort left to me was to dispute the orders through my bank. It is a shame, I have ordered from this company in the past and it was great and the products are very nice. Bad company! Poor customer support. I ordered a knee brace on Nov. 9. It's now Nov. 21 and nothing has arrived. I asked for a tracking number or any notice of likely delivery. Zero reply from the company. I also got lured into a possible second online purchase, to use a 10% discount. But then on checkout, my total wasn't large enough to get the discount. Something the email offer didn't state clearly. Even then, in the shopping cart, the company offered a $2 discount on one item in my basket. I really wish I had checked Yelp before placing my online order from Tommie Copper. I ordered a pair of wool compression socks for $39.50 (Women's Pro-Grade Wool Compression Over The Calf Socks, SKU 840001171596). After four washes on delicate cycle and being air dried (like all of my wool clothes), these socks developed a large hole and became extremely pilly. I contacted customer service to exchange this pair and they never responded, so I wrote a review about my experience. The review was quickly deleted from Tommie Copper's website. No wonder their website reviews look stellar compared to their Yelp reviews--if they are simply deleting any bad reviews. If you want to buy a pair of socks for $39.50 and only be able to wear them four times, this is the place for you :-/. read more

Beware, if you wear their products for 8 to 12 hours , you may experience a raised rash and blisters at the end of the sleeves. This can be painful and quite annoying. The product does offer relief, but I'm not sure it is worth the pain afterwards. read more

I have Been using Tommy Copper products for years. Most of there their products are Great and I really like using them Because they work and do what they are made for. A few are fair and fewer still are no good, I mean they don't do what they are made for. With a little more engineering they could all be great. With out the degree that is what I do, (design and Engineer). The knee sleeves, Gloves and arm sleeves are great I have bought many sets for my bad knees, elbows and hands. Additionally, the knee sleeves are great to ware under my DonJoy oa Unloader steel knee braces, I get compression and they stop the irritation from the braces. The compression Tee shirts I love but they don't hold up good in the wash. So they need to improve that or lower the price. On the lower end the compression waist belt is crap it is too bulky and maybe too big I can't put my finger on why but it just doesn't work. The compression shorts with waist belt as well are not good. it is basically spandex underwear, no real support. they are like tall black tightly whitey underwear. They need to go back to engineering and use someone with back and hip issues to make them right. They should be heavier material and the waist needs the addition of adjustment straps. I think the problem with the products that don't work well is that they are made with heathy athletic uninjured people in mind, and for them they may be great to were during their work out. So here is my suggestion to the engineers at Tommy Copper with all due respect, develop an additional product line with Serious support for those with back injuries, and talk to the people with those injuries that like me when I was younger was a power lifter runner and swimmer but now in my 60s have not taken care of my body for 35 years. If you can develop that product, I think you will sell them out. read more

I have several areas that hurt on a regular basis. Arthritis in my hands and knee and an injured shoulder. Tommie copper gloves take away all the hand pain and the knee brace takes almost all the pain away. The shirts help Great with the shoulder pain and occasional elbow pain from weightlifting. I recommend these products to everyone in any form of pain. They are a life saver I still believe what I said above but this company as a whole does not have good customer service. I have tried repeatedly to contact the, via email and on Facebook. With no response what so ever. So I retract my recommendation of this company based on their service. read more

I'm in my 40's and picking martial arts back up after many years. I've torn many muscles in my legs over the last year as well an ACL and many strains. I heard of the copper infused compression sleeves but just thought it was a bunch of hype. I ordered a couple compression sleeves with hopes to speed up my recovery and to avoid constantly going back to PT. To my surprise, my recovery time was cut in half and I don't feel the aches and pains of these injuries (as well as previous injuries through the years) when I wear them. I have sleeves for the calves, knees, a pair of shorts, and a pair of pants. I'm always wearing something when I train and in many cases when I'm not just to help with my aches and pains. read more

I ordered two TC masks from QVC item #V37310. While the elastic is very good to adjust, the material used for mask is terrible. It impedes breathing. It sticks to your nostrils. AND it retains a chemical odor even after a few washings. Also it looks like a bunny nose! Very disappointed. read more

In short, I purchased several items from Tommie Copper as Christmas gifts for my husband. Because these were compression-fitted items, I was unsure which size would be the best fit for him. Instead of guessing, I opted to order multiple sizes of each of the Long Sleeve & Short Sleeve back & shoulder support shirts, as well as multiple additional accessories, allowing him to try them on and return any items that did not fit. I understood this would not be an issue according to the return policy guidelines posted on the Tommie Copper website. The first week of January, I returned the unneeded items to Tommie Copper and followed up with an email the subsequent week. I had no idea at the time that my journey with Tommie Copper was just about to begin and would not end until mid-March, only to result in a partial refund, lost items, and total frustration! After 17 emails back and forth with the Tommie Copper customer service department, multiple attempted phone calls, most that went immediately to voicemail with no reply to messages, and ONE live conversation with a Customer Service Rep., it's important to note that she was able to confirm receipt of each item in my returned shipment, regarding what should have been a simple return of items sent back for a refund. (It is also important to mention that all of these items were returned well within the time frame of the 60-day return policy.) Included in the numerous emails, I supplied ample documentation including photos of the originally purchased order receipts, photos of the postage receipts of returned items, which included shipment dates & delivery details of the returned items. In each of these attempts to resolve the issue, I was re-directed multiple times, saying it was either in the hands of the receiving department, the finance department, or the customer service department and someone would get back to me, which NEVER happened!! Had I known that the return/refund policy posted on their website was not as simple as advertised OR that getting a refund for items I shipped back to them at my cost, that they CONFIRMED receipt of, would consume so much of my time, to ultimately receive a partial refund, I would have never purchased almost $500 of items from Tommie Copper. I find myself frustrated and in total disbelief that my only alternative is to write about this horrific experience online in hopes that no one else goes thru what I experienced dealing with the Tommie Copper NON CUSTOMER SERVICE department!!!! BTW, the products aren't that great either.
